If you have never seen Tru Soul perform, then you are missing out big time! Our wedding was October 10, 2015, I reached out to Tru Soul in early January, Sheryta immediately replied to me answering every question I had asked. Sheryta, the bands lead singer and manager is just an awesome lady and very professional to deal with. She was so helpful with everything from day one. Once all questions were answered we booked Tru Soul right away, because we knew we wanted them leading our party! I stayed in contact every so often with Sheryta; as questions would come up for my wife and I, and she always responded quickly. This being both of ours first wedding we weren’t quite sure of everything we needed to ask or everything our band could/would do at our reception. We met with Sheryta closer to our wedding date, and she put everything at ease. She knew everything that was needed, we went through songs and left that meeting feeling great and excited to see them perform! One thing that stood out to me at this meeting was Sheryta’s genuine desire to give us the best experience they could. The band took care of everything for us and played all night; I think everyone left with tired and sore feet from all the dancing. Dancing was a very important part of the party for my bride to be and she was thrilled with Tru Soul’s performance. Sheryta assured us Tru Soul always keeps the dance floor crowded and they did!! She even got me on stage with them to do the Whip / Nae Nae – which was a treat for all I am sure. I reached out to Sheryta a few days before our wedding and asked if they could sing our first dance song, “Crazy Love” by Van Morrison, she said they hadn’t played that song in a while, but not a problem they would be ready…..and they nailed it! I can’t say enough nice things about Sheryta and all the band members of Tru Soul, very professional and very talented musicians. We can’t thank them enough for everything, we both HIGHLY recommend booking Tru Soul, you will not be disappointed! Thanks Again, Justin & Kelly Long

Tru Sol is undeniably a good band. That is why we hired them to play at our daughter's wedding reception. However, when it comes to their business practices, they leave a lot to be desired. By their own admission, Tru Sol fell way short on some major responsibilities that were contractually agreed upon and ended up causing a lot of uncomfortable moments for the bride and immediate family during then reception. Tru Sol refused to compensate us for these shortcomings- NOTHING was done, other than admitting that indeed the short comings had occurred and they were sorry. In fact, they threatened to take us to court if we did not pay in full. A good, reputable band or business would not react in this manner. They would do something- be it monetary, a favor, but SOMETHING, to make the shortcomings , right. I would never recommend that you do business with this band. And if you do, make certain that you get ALL expectations in writing and have someone make sure that all expectations are met- time band contracted to play, number of breaks that they will take, how long those breaks will be. Make sure YOU have protection and documentation when they fall short of their contracted agreement, because they will never make it right.

Tru Sol band is the band to see in Myrtle Beach, SC and when I found out that I could book them for my wedding I was thrilled! They are the epitome of FUN. The band is professional, personable, and very versatile! All of my guests say that they were the highlight of the reception- second to me of course ;) but REALLY, I was extremely pleased with their variety of music and they were able to transition into their breaks seamlessly and made the reception flow smoothly. I really appreciate all of the help that I received from Sheryta, who was able to answer all my questions and relieve all of my frustrations with how the reception would flow... BEST band for ANY event!!!! And they travel :)

Tru Sol is the perfect band for your wedding reception – they are a premium quality and affordable band with great enthusiasm that will leave your guests talking about how much fun they had for months following your wedding. Their incredible talent at instruments and their strong vocals make you feel like you are listening to a recording. My husband and I began watching them five years ago at local bars up and down the South Carolina coast and have followed them ever since. They always draw a large crowd wherever they perform. Sheryta (lead singer) is awesome at responding quickly to emails and very attentive to your event’s every needs. I had an “out of town” wedding that required Tru Sol to travel, and they made it so easy on me. They are organized, prompt (always on time), and are adaptable throughout the night to ensure your event runs smoothly. Tru Sol will adjust their play list throughout the night to provide awesome music that gets every age group of the wedding guests out of their seats and on the dance floor! I strongly recommend booking Tru Sol for your event. They are worth every penny and one vendor you will never regret booking!
