Truchas Peaks Place in Truchas, NM, a picturesque setting for weddings, retreats and other special occasions, lies at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. They aimed to create a space where event groups could rejuvenate, relax, be inspired, and celebrate alongside their loved ones. You can work closely with the team to make your vision for your special day to life.
Located near Carson National Forest's untouched wilderness, Truchas Peaks Place offers stunning natural vistas while being a short drive to Los Alamos, Santa Fe, and Taos. You and your guests can feel the unique energy of northern New Mexico while celebrating your love in comfortable accommodations. The retreat space is newly built with local adobe materials in the pitched-roof style this region is known for. This building can fit up to 28 people in 10 bedrooms and features a gourmet kitchen, an elegant dining area, and a wrap-around porch. For entertainment, visitors can cozy up with a good book in the library, have a workshop in one of the meeting rooms, or play the baby grand piano in the corridor. In the Opus House, five bedrooms sleep around seven, and there are several fireplaces and luxurious floor heating. The smallest option is the Casita, which has two bedrooms accommodating three people. Couples can rent each accommodation separately or in conjunction with each other.
The team behind Truchas Peaks Place wants to provide you and your loved ones with an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you don't want to do the cooking yourself, they can provide a list of local catering businesses to create a menu that will 'wow' you. Ashley Escargega is our Facility Director as well as our Sales Manager, Event Manager, Problem Solver, and is the best asset to have on your wedding-planning team! She had her own wedding at our beautiful venue in 2018 and loved it so much she never left! She is ready to answer any questions, recommend vendors, and make your wedding vision come to life. She and the whole team at Truchas Peaks Place will do everything we can to ensure your experience is one of life-long memories!
