ized to your body (despite paying hundreds to thousands of dollars for it). You get a generic dress size and then they give you a list of alteration spots for 10% off. It took 6 months for my dress to be made and delivered to the store only to of course need serious alterations and leaving a little over a month to get it done (which my alteration lady didn't seem happy about the "short notice" even though I went to her the very next day after I picked up my dress). I was barley able to get my dress back literally 2 days before I had to leave for my destination wedding. After the additional $500 it still didn't fit perfectly.... Also, I bought a necklace from Trudy's that had to be made and the day of me picking it up, it broke... I expected more from a high end Bridal shop. When my now Husband got his suit from a high end store, he had to make an appointment but with no cost, they sized him and made his suit specifically for him. I know it's less work to make a suit but it definitely didn't take 6 months. Just shows how women get screwed over with all these additional costs.

ous poor experiences at other dress shops and was nervous that this would be the same story. It was not at all, Lilly was incredible! She asked great questions about my ideal dress and didn't pressure me into any dresses I wasn't immediately drawn towards. Additionally, after hearing what I was looking for, she told me she knew what dress I would pick and that I'd try it at the end. After a handful of gorgeous dresses that just weren't quite 'me', she put me in my dress and she was right, it was my dress. She made the whole experience so enjoyable and fun for me and my group. My group was also so blown away that she knew what dress I would pick and the dress was perfect in every way. After I got measured and ordered the dress, the Trudy's team was responsive and so helpful with letting me know next steps. I received so many compliments on my dress and have been quick to let them know about Trudy's Brides and to ask for Lilly!

! The dress fit me perfect and Lili helped me with ordering more applique which made my dress even more perfect! I will always recommend for future brides to come here and say yes to the dress! You will have the best service ever :)

pointment, and did not make a purchase on the first day... but returned the next day to try my dress on again and ultimately purchase it, and they fit me in with little notice.

d, grandma, and sister) feel comfortable; did extra digging to confirm the dress I wanted was available; and talked me through the ordering process. The entire experience was enjoyable and memorable, and I'm so grateful.

She was so patient, re-assuring and helpful when I was trying out some of the dress and I’m so excited to come back when my dress arrives! Thank you Priscilla!

ike. I gave her the details, and she picked out six different dresses that matched my request. I walked out of the store at the end of my appointment with the dress of my dreams! I am so appreciative of the staff at Trudy’s for all the help, and am confident that any bride-to-be will be able to find her dream dress at Trudy’s as well.

rest inspiration board and a pretty clear vision, Rebekah took that and nailed it. After trying a few dresses on, we narrowed down the elements I loved most. She went searching again, did some kind of magic and came back with THE dress! I was treated so well, the whole staff was great. It was everything I hoped it would be. Thank you for being a part of my happily ever after!

I was interested in)! She was very sweet and calming in finding the right dress for me. Sticking to my feelings worked out for the best and I said “Yes to the Dress”! She made what could’ve been a really nervous experience into a great one and we found a dress within an hour! Thank you so much for being so great! Cannot wait to come back for the dress when it arrives!!

something a little weird for my spooky forest wedding. Leilani was amazing, though! She had a look at my Pinterest board then started pulling dresses and I fell in love with the very first one I put on! She let me try on quite a few dresses and even had me try some that were a little different from the style I favored just to see. She encouraged my bridesmaid to take photos so I could see them all later and was so friendly that it felt like trying on dresses with two friends. At the end she led me to the front of the store to take some photos in the beautiful lobby area and the owner stopped by to tell my friend exactly where to take the best pictures (the 7th step apparently). Leilani didn’t push me to buy the dress and was supportive of me looking around a little (this was my first appointment). When I came back to buy the dress a week later everyone remembered me and was so sweet, complimenting me on the dress. They let us take a few photos outside so I could see it without a mask and took some photos for us so I could have my bridesmaid stand next to me! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

dget. I found the perfect dress to wear for my wedding day!

ve. All the dresses that she pulled fit the description of what we were looking for as well as the budget. She paid close attention to the details that we loved and ones that we didn’t, pulling out different dresses accordingly until finally she finally pulled out THE ONE. I definitely did not expect to have the cliche moment that you see on TV wearing this dress, but my eyes definitely did water. Excellent service and selection. Jenn is definitely great at what she does and highly recommend her as a consultant for future brides.

lt pressured or like she was pushing a sale, unlike some of the other bridal shops I went to. She had an upbeat positive attitude and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. I have a hard time making decisions sometimes, but she really put me at ease. I’m so grateful for her help and guidance! I felt beautiful on my wedding day!

k a few weeks later to actually "say yes to the dress," and they kept track of the #s and info of all the top contenders that I loved. My consultants were SO helpful and really understood the look I was going for, and helped me feel like I tried enough dresses on but didnt overwhelm me with options. It also didn't feel pushy or "salesy" whatsoever, they truly wanted me to love my dress. Thank you Trudy's for helping me find the dress of my dreams!

edding dress. Renee was my dress specialist and thank god because she was so down to Earth that I had a great experience. I don't need people to tell me I look pretty in a dress, I need people to be real with me and she 100% was. I was actually excited to come back for my second appointment after nearly cancelling my first one because I was so stressed out about picking a dress. The dress I picked, a Badgley Mischka, was STUNNING and I regret nothing about that purchase. I am only giving 4 stars because of the viewing appointment. For the viewing appointment I did not work with Renee, my understanding is the newer stylists handle the viewings. I felt like she didn't know me or understand me and artificially complimented the dress and how I looked in it. Maybe she was doing her best but the experience wasn't up to the standard Renee set. Wedding planning is a stressful time and picking a dress is one of the most stressful parts, we need professionals help with every part of this process. The experience would have been better if my viewing had also been with Renee.

give compliments, and it has been so helpful to me to read brides reviews. But I had such a negative experience at Trudy's that I feel I should warn other brides. I want to start by saying, my cousin actually got her wedding dress from Trudy's a couple years ago, and we had a wonderful experience. The woman we worked with was great, and we got to meet Trudy herself. It was really a magical experience. I heard that Trudy had actually passed away recently, and that her sons took over (not sure if this is true info). I am not sure if this has led to a decline, or if I truly just had a freak experience. The woman I worked with (Judy), did not make me feel important by any means. Most of the dresses she pulled were not at all what I mentioned I wanted (a couple even had characteristics that I specifically had on the do not want list). She made me put on the dresses by myself (she just buttoned), and tried to convince me every dress was "the one" before she even asked if I liked it or hated it. I actually found a dress I LOVED (A Maggie Sotero), which was almost the one when I tried it on again at the boutique I ended up buying my dress from. When she could tell I was maybe going to say yes, she invited the owners son (I'm guessing Trudy's son) to come look. At first I thought he was just great. I decided to show him the dress to beat from the boutique before, (which was a stunning Lillian West), thinking he could maybe help pull things that were more my style (since Judy wasn't really doing so). To my utter shock, he proceeded to talk badly on that dress saying that the cutouts looked like an accident and that it didn't fit my venue because it looked like a chapel dress (I'm sorry if anyone disagrees, but I personally would NEVER wear cutouts in a chapel and Lillian West dresses are EVERYTHING). I was so stressed out and mortified that I started to cry (Mind you, I was already exhausted from dress shopping and very hungry). Completely clueless as to why I was crying, Judy and the owners son started to say this was the most emotional I've been in a dress, and asked if I was saying yes to the dress. WHAT?! NO! I left in shock. I truly hope that this review will be a wake up call to them and ensure that no other bride has this experience.

narrow down the shape and stayed (semi) within my budget. I didn't want to take it off!!

r needs. I LOVE my dress!

ice of a dress before putting it on, and just made the experience so fun and stress free. We went 45 minutes over the appointment time and she didn't make us feel rushed or hurried at all (and I think it was her lunch break). She even welcomed us to come back after we'd had lunch and I had time to think about the dress. I would highly recommend Trudys and book an appointment with Jenn!

me. I would recommend Trudy's for anyone looking for their wedding dress.

ated store gives clients a wonderful shopping experience and makes you feel so glamorous.

tions on my style and what I wanted in regards of dresses. She pulled about 8 dresses, none of which were even close to what I had explained to her. I kept pointing out to some dresses (brides nor guests are allowed to go look any any dresses on the racks) I saw right in front of my dressing room that seemed to be my style. She kept having me try on all the dresses she chose which were not getting any positive feedback from me nor my guests. Half way through my fitting my stylist gets told the next appt after mine had arrived 1 hour early. After that the appt was ruined, the stylist was rushing me through the try on even though this was my scheduled time. Finally after trying on all the dresses she chose, she finally allowed me to try on two dresses I wanted to try on from the beginning (the ones I pointed out) and absolutely loved them. Each dress I tried on she told me I only have --- minutes left... only --- minutes left. Finally after being rushed out of my appt, she would not give me an of the information on the dresses that I had liked and disappeared to the next appt leaving me to ask the receptionist what the next step was for me to do. Very very disappointed after seeing so many good reviews. I ended up buying my perfect dress at the next bridal shop we went to!

as "Why didn't we come here first?" Vanessa beyond took care of me, my needs and my vision. She pulled 5 dresses and all five were EXACTLY what I described. I know my style wasnt easy in a time where tighter dresses are the trend and lace everywhere, but she nailed it. Each dress got better and better until the final one, it was it! Can I also make a big mention EVERY DRESS WENT ON MY BODY. I am around a bridal 12/14 due to my hips/butt area and struggled not being able to try dresses on at other places due to my size. Heartbreaking. This was never an issue at Trudys. Even a dress I picked in the window (where I stood there and say dont love it, probably doesnt fit) I was able to try on, IN MY SIZE. THANK YOU TRUDYS for an amazing experience. I love my dress and cannot wait to come back when its in!!!!

ce there is phenomenal, its like a small family that is there to help you make your dress shopping less stressful and more impactful.

of what I wanted to try on and without any hesitation she immediately knew the dress and the designer. It was the very first one I tried on at Trudy's and I immediately fell in love... Melinda was very helpful, patient and attentive. She gave some good advise in regards to color, fitting and style. However the dress was pricey (way more than what I wanted to spend) - Yes I could have probably gotten it online cheaper but the experience was priceless.. I was very pleased and very impressed. Thank you Trudy & Melinda for a wonderful experience -

like a princess as I tried dress after dress. My stylist was on top of everything, constantly thinking of new styles to try on based on how I was reacting to each wedding dress, until finally she had me try on something I never thought to ask for - which turned out to be THE dress that I bought a few days later. The atmosphere of Trudy's was calm and relaxing - no rushed, department store feel. When I came in to view/fit my purchased dress, we were put in a smaller area, not as polished area where we could see another person also trying on dresses - not as great an experience as the first one, but understandable. My second stylist was also good at picking out hair clip accessories but wasn't as good at finding the great boleros/sleeves as my first stylist did. I assume the inventory had changed. Still, I was able to purchase my accessories and was happy overall with my dress.

at experience!

a second appointment to see and try on Mori Lee dresses during a trunk show that lasted 2 weeks. My consultant stuck with me, was very patient, and ended up pulling a dress that I did not want to take off. She was knowledgeable and accessorized the dress in a way that matched my style. She truly listened, which is what is so important in finding your dress! Overall, I have had no complaints about Trudy's and continued on at the same location to obtain my bridesmaid dresses! Thanks you Trudy's Brides Staff!

stood what I wanted. I had a fairly large group with me and they were happy to accommodate, all the girls had fun. I was put under no pressure to buy that day; although I did! When my dress arrived in the store, I got a phone call and made an appointment. I happened to have the same woman helping me try my dress on again for this appointment and I had another great experience. :)

t and pulled several gowns to try on. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses so I didn't know what to expect. Not only did I fit into the dresses, but a few were even too big! I felt so comfortable and beautiful in each gown. After a couple of gowns, I put on the most beautiful gown I've ever seen and had that "bridal moment" everyone talks about. I wasn't ready to decide that day so I went to another salon a few days later. The next day I went back to Trudys, tried on "the one" again and made my decision. I am thrilled that finding the dress was made so easy thanks to Trudys. Jen knew exactly what I wanted and what would look amazing on me. I am also proud to shop at a salon that has beautiful gowns for all sizes, especially plus size women like me. Thank you for an amazing experience and I can't wait to wear my dress in 8 months!

pected and I love it even more! They have a good variety for all price points.

ge a minute of the process.

o helped me offered suggestions on several other dresses in a similar style which I really liked, but not nearly as much. There was clearly a HUGE selection of dresses. They also helped my mom with her gown too! She looked stunning!

bling descriptions of what I liked or didn't like about a gown and found the perfect gown I didn't even know I was looking for. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and that is thanks to Mary at Trudy's for helping me say yes to a dress.

ed on was "the one". I absolutely love my dress, so does my husband and so did everybody else at our wedding. Not only will you leave Trudy's feeling like you are a part of their family, but you will leave with a beautiful designer gown. There's no way you will step foot out of there without having purchased a gown. While I was there I had the pleasure of meeting Trudy and she is so kind and so sweet. She and her team are the best!

greeted us and introduced us to the gal who was going to assist us (I think her name was Mary). She asked me what I was looking for, went and picked out 6 dresses and had me try them on, one after the next (eliminating one each time- which made it so much easier than other stores where I searched aisle after aisle completely overwhelmed). She picked one gown that was very different from all the others and it was the last one left in the room. I wasn't planning to try it on because it wasn't what I had envisioned, but after a little encouragement from my mom I agreed to give it a try. I tried it on and it looked amazing. Walked out to show my bridal team and they all started to cry! I said yes to the dress and the rest of the process was quick and easy! Trudy even helped me to get the bracelet I had tried on that day, 10 months later when I decided I had to have it. The entire staff at Trudy's was so helpful and I was thankful to have found my dress at the same place my mom found hers years ago!!

ned to me and heard me when I was telling her how I envisioned myself on my wedding day. She delivered that vision and more!

hen I asked about extra length), this was refreshing! I worked with Mary, who only brought me dresses that she thought I would like based on my tastes that I had shown her off Pinterest and from magazines. I ended up with a dress I never thought I would choose, but I felt gorgeous in it!! I felt that I was wearing the dress, not that the dress was covering me up! I felt like a model! Mary made me feel confident about myself and I left there feeling great and excited about my wedding dress and veil! it is a little pricey, but I think it's worth it! How many times are you going to get married, anyways? May as well feel beautiful!!

lable right on time, looked over some of the photos we brought, and then whisked my daughter away to start trying on dresses. She did an amazing job choosing things my daughter loved. After being in tears over the dresses she had tried on elsewhere, none of which she liked or felt good in, my daughter was literally glowing with the very first dress she tried on! She tried on just 6 dresses, and loved them all, and finally chose the third one she had tried on. We had told Michelle our price guidelines, and most of the dresses she brought out were actually below that. The gown my daughter chose was beautiful - a lovely ivory silk-like fabric, with an elegant understated design and detailing, and very reasonably priced, from Madison James. It also felt good - not stiff and scratchy like the gowns she tried on elsewhere. We had Michelle's full attention during our appointment - she wasn't running back and forth between multiple brides. She was in the dressing room with my daughter clipping the dresses to fit, and with us while we discussed each dress when my daughter came out to the big mirrored area where my younger daughter and I were waiting. Michelle emailed us 2 days later, with an estimated arrival date from the designer, which was just 2 months. I guess the dress was in stock somewhere in the US, because just 3 weeks later, we got a call saying the dress was in, and we could pick it up. They could not do the alterations for us, but recommended several outfits. We used Pruneyard Custom Tailors next to them for the alterations and pressing. They did a wonderful job and my daughter looked lovely on her wedding day and her dress fit perfectly. So overall - we had a wonderful experience with Trudys, and would recommend them highly.

dream wedding gown. The bridesmaid dresses were my biggest issue. All of my girls came to get measured and the salespeople were supposed to give them a suggested size to order. I went with their suggestions since they were the "professionals" and should know what they are talking about but my goodness. EVERY single one of my girls dresses were HUGE. I mean HUGE. I trusted the guidance of this store yet again and my maid of honor ended up once being told her dress was too large to even alter and she would have to get a new dress (3 weeks before the wedding) and ended up taking it somewhere else who luckily was able to alter the dress but it ended up costing nearly $300. That is a mistake so large (literally) it is inexcusable. Not to mention NO ONE ever called me to tell me my dresses were in. They were supposed to contact me directly since they will only hold your orders for like a month after they receive them and 3 weeks AFTER they got them I called and asked them if they were in yet and they said they've called me twice and left messages. I checked the phone number, it was mine. I never received one call. They also couldn't take the time to get my name right. Every time I called, they couldn't find my file because my last name was completely incorrect. I asked them to correct it so the next time I wouldn't have this problem...next time I called still not fixed. All of the dresses were marked with the names of my bridesmaids and the first names and last names were all mixed up so I couldn't tell which dress belonged to who. Totally unprofessional. In regards to my bridal gown, I made an appointment and when I came in I really didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted. I wanted to try on different styles so I could decide what looked best on me since I have never worn such an extravagant dress (as most people haven't). I felt rushed, felt unheard and felt pressured into buying a dress I "thought" I loved. The woman helping me was very demanding of what I was looking for and I really was hoping for some guidance as to what looked best on me. I had brought along a few friends and my mother and of course they were saying EVERYTHING looked good so that was no help. So I was really depending on the guidance of the professional to help me go in the right direction in terms of style, etc. I told her my personality, how I normally dress, and every time I put on a dress informed her of what I loved and hated. She should have been able to pull dresses and narrow things down from there which she didn't. She only continued to bring in more dresses of what I didn't want and somehow ended up walking out of the store with a $1500 mistake. As far as dresses go they have a great selection but the sales people were terrible. Again, no one called me to even tell me my dress was in. I was pressured into buying this dress because if I bought right now I'd get this credit for this and this much off. Bologna. I ended up purchasing a second dress that I loved for my wedding and couldn't have been happier with.
