Liesel and her team perfectly adapted my inspiration photos into a hairstyle and makeup look that suited me perfectly. I will also say, if you are feeling unsure about airbrushing, I highly recommend not shying away from it—it was so lightweight and stayed flawless all day, even in unprecedented 90+ degree heat and humidity. Liesel and her team really listened to me as a client, managed my expectations, and provided helpful suggestions. They also shared the same respect with the rest of the wedding party, whether it was full-glam makeup with an updo or a more natural look, they did an outstanding job on everyone. They used high-quality products, and even girls with sensitive skin, myself included, had no issues. Pricing was very transparent, so I always knew exactly what I was paying for. Liesel knocked out any concerns during my trial and Karla nearly made me cry with happiness after doing my makeup on my wedding day. & class. I was so nervous going into my wedding day that how I hoped to feel about my hair and makeup was going to be difficult to execute. Instead, True Beauty VT made me feel the most beautiful I’ve EVER felt, and was so responsive to my suggestions and feedback around my color preferences. I truly appreciated so much of how they made myself and my wedding party feel on this day. It was truly the best day of my life, and in part thanks to True Beauty VT. I cannot recommend them enough. Not to mention they brought an amazing playlist that had everyone feeling playful and joyful. My hair and makeup lasted alllll day- and I mean it and my curls fell exactly how I wanted them to- and when I explained in very amateur terms how I wanted them to be different from my trial Liesel understood exactly and switched it. Not to mention- as someone with sensitive skin, even 3 days after my wedding there are no breakouts to be seen.

r, and have not had great experiences in the past, but ultimately decided to go for it. Our coordinator at Mountain Top Inn recommended Liesel and her team at True VT Beauty, in part because they're well known for working with people who like a more toned-down or natural look (though they can do anything)! I reached out to Liesel a couple months before my wedding date, which is typically pretty short notice, and luckily she still had availability. She was patient in working through the details (e.g. how many bridesmaids / family members would need hair + makeup) and was very accommodating to distance and time zone differences (I live in SF). Since we didn't have an opportunity for an in-person trial, we met over Zoom to go over details. We ran into a number of technical hurdles, but she didn't let that alter how much time we spent to make sure we got all the details hammered out. The day of, Liesel and her team showed up on time and with everything they needed. They were calm, kind and patient, even though we were in a large home with lots of hubbub (grandparents, toddlers, the works). She even accepted last minute additions, and made my two-year old niece feel very special by doing small pieces of her hair. Everyone loved their hair & makeup, myself included. Liesel and her team continued to be attentive throughout photos, and offered touch ups to whomever wanted them, as-needed (though no one really needed them -- the hair and makeup lasted well into the night!). Other notes: - When I did go to remove my hair, I quickly realized that it would have lasted days. It had SO many pins in it keeping it secure. This is exactly what you want when you're dancing all night! - We ended up having roughly 10 people do hair and makeup. maybe 11 or 12 if we include a couple last minute adds who did just hair or just makeup. first started looking for a hair/makeup artist for my wedding I started looking through Instagram where I came across Liesel and True Vermont Beauty. I looked through her posts and immediately knew that she had to be my hair/makeup artist. I knew exactly what I wanted and knew that Liesel would make it happen just after our introductory quick phone call. Liesel responded quickly and answered all of my questions. When I met with her for my trial at her salon, everything felt like it was falling into place. Liesel walked me through the whole process of what she was using and why, and Andrea, Liesel's assistant, helped me decide on lip color which truly pulled my whole look together. On the wedding day, Liesel and Andrea showed up bright and early! My bridesmaids raved about their hair and makeup and just how personable Liesel and Andrea were. I would highly recommend True Vermont Beauty to anyone that wants to feel and look fabulous on their wedding day!

As someone that never does my own hair and make up, all of the product used felt perfect on my skin and hair. Liesel even helped me with finding a skin care routine prior to my wedding day.
