He has this calming and reassuring personality and knows the business so well....from scheduling the vendors, the wedding timing, walking us through the rehearsal, providing referrals for florists, dj's, even personally steaming my wedding dress (thank you, Michael). My wedding went so smoothly because of Michael and True Luxe Events, and I cannot say enough good things about him to even express my total gratitude for his personal service to me and my wedding. I trusted him completely to design my reception ballroom and was blown away at how beautiful everything looked when I walked in with my new husband. The florist he recommended was 5-star as well. He created our welcome sign, escort cards, table napkin fold, and so many other little touches that made my wedding ceremony and the venue Perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank you. If you are looking for the best possible event coordinator, hire Michael Kaintz and True Luxe Events. You will Not be disappointed.

e to experience what we went through. First and foremost, he kept mispronouncing my husband’s name. My husband has a difficult name to pronounce, but he never bothered to learn it properly whereas other vendors learned how to pronounce it properly and had no problems. It was extremely disrespectful right off the bat. Second, on the day of the wedding, everything that went wrong happened because of True Luxe. Decorations weren’t set up in the right place despite both Michael and the venue having been provided a diagram, and I gave explicit instructions on the day of. When guests started arriving, Michael was nowhere to be found, although it was his job to be directing guests. Instead my husband being the groom had to be the one to direct guests where to go. Right before the ceremony started, I was running behind in getting ready and was already feeling anxious. I just remember Michael rushing me and telling me that everyone was already there and waiting for me, which did absolutely NOTHING to calm my anxieties. In the end, my hairstylist and florist were the ones to calm me down. Michael was supposed to be keeping the timeline and telling my maid of honor (who was the MC) when to announce things so she wouldn’t have to worry about it, and he didn’t do any of that. We ended up having to manage the timeline on our own because he didn’t do it. Third, Michael’s services came included in the ceremony package we paid for at our venue, Los Verdes Golf Course. We paid extra to add-on reception coordinating services. However, it felt like there were hidden fees everywhere. We had a day-time wedding and a lunch reception. By the time we were done with the “formalities”, there was really only about 1 hour, max 1.5 hours left for lunch. But it was extra to have Michael stay an extra hour longer to “finish coordinating” until the end. I understand why this is important for a 6 or 8 hour wedding, but that’s not what we had. Additionally, to have Michael MC for the event (since we had live musicians for a lunch reception rather than a DJ) was going to be extra. It just seemed like everything we wanted him to do as a part of his services was extra, extra, extra. What we actually paid for compared to what he provided us was just ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND, EVEN IF THIS SERVICE IS FREE.

t our wedding package came with a Day-Of Coordinator. Not only did this save me time researching a coordinator, but I felt assured that TLE was vetted out as a top vendor in their craft. We had the honor of primarily working with Michael himself. Starting from our introduction email, Michael was an ABSOLUTE pleasure to work with answering any questions and providing his expertise on general wedding things & our items specific to our venue. We first met Michael in-person at our food tasting where we hit the ground running curating and drafting our day-of timeline and banquet event order details. His fun and professional energy also got us so excited for our big day! Later, he also produced our ceremony and reception seating charts. All these tools/documents ensured that all of our wedding plans came to life. He was also present for our wedding rehearsal to make sure our wedding party knew what to the do before, during, and post-ceremony. Our wedding package included Day-Of Coordinating until dinner service, but we decided to pay the extra cost to have their services through formalities. OH MY GOODNESS was that one of the best decisions we made. The day of the wedding was such a blur, but Michael and his team made sure everything was smooth and enjoyable for us and our guests. I was stickler for our day-of timeline, but with Michael's guidance, we were actually a bit ahead of schedule! We had a quite a bit formalities, but he was so kind and sweet to remind us of what was planned next. I let him know that open dance was important to me, so he ensured that there was plenty of time for me to dance the night away. To that, he handled coordinating amongst our other vendors and made sure all the vendor tip cards were distributed. I am SO SO grateful for Michael and the TLE Assistant Coordinator, Taylor, for ensuring our wedding plans were on time, smooth, beautiful, and absolutely fun for us and our guests. His expertise is out of this world and I fully trusted him on any last minute/day-of decisions we were too busy to make. All of our family and friends said that they had a wonderful and fun time and that feedback is attributed to the amazing work of True Luxe Events! We cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING!!!

ell us on everything, and their prices were absurd (which was partially our very popular wedding date, which I get, but still). It was literally cheaper to buy identical napkins on Amazon than it was to rent theirs. Initially we worked with Michael, but our day of coordinator was Heather, and they didn't seem to have communicated much between them. I really hope they do better with their real clients, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone after our experience at Hotel Maya.

e or suggestion whenever we had questions. Michael was patient with us and always had a smile on his face, “I got you!” You can tell he enjoys his work. Everything went so smoothly the day of our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier!

ecause we knew Michael would take care of it for us. He made sure we ate and that our vendors ate. He kept us on our timeline so that photo and video could get all the important shots before they had to leave. He made sure our gifts were safe at the end of the night. He helped set up everything before the wedding and everything was cleared up at the end. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and that’s all because of Michael and his team. Thanks Michael!

f the actual wedding our officiator tested positive for covid and couldn't make it to the ceremony. Michael was the one who stepped up and officiated, joining me and my partner in holy matrimony. He made sure to attend to our needs and was very cooperative with the other coordinators as well as the event venue to make sure everything went smoothly. I would recommend him to all my friends and I'm so glad we had him in our corner during such a stressful time as losing your officiator to covid!

From the ceremony to the reception, our guests were very impressed with how structured and smooth everything went. Some even stated that it was the best wedding they've attended. Not much time passed once we signed contract with him when I already started to refer him and his team since he made this process so stress free! I cannot emphasize enough how much Michael superseded our expectations. He made last minute things happen for our cocktail hour that made the experience of our guest even better. We were lucky enough to have him personally be at our wedding, he made my childhood vision of my wedding come true without any stress and just let my wife and I enjoy our day.

Throughout the whole process Michael was extremely helpful, professional, responsive, and kept us on track. He did a fabulous job working with our vendors and coordinating everything so that day of would run smoothly. On the week leading up to the wedding, the AC in our event space went out and Michael kept me calm while he was hard at work moving things and making sure everything still went off without a hitch. All the ideas that we had in our head about decor and color schemes, traditions we wanted to continue, and new ones we wanted to create -- everything looked and worked out better than we could have imagined. On the big day, everything was taken care of and handled for us allowing us to soak in the day and spend it with our guests. Michael allowed us to relax and make memories -- just as he promised. His services were the perfect blend of keeping us on task, and bringing realistic life to our ideas -- we 100% recommend his services to all couples that are considering a planner.

Micheal truly did such a great job on our wedding. He has everything planned. I feel that he really makes every wedding just like his own. Our ushers and wedding party was asking about him after the wedding. I then realized there were so much going on during the event and “Michael took care of them all”. People might think hiring a wedding coordinator is pricy. I feel the same way before. However, I would have to say Michael is totally worth it. I believe non of the bride or groom would like to be bothered and stressed out for every single tiny tidy details on their big day. I would highly recommend Michael for everybody!!

it with our parents, the small wedding we thought we'd have turned into something completely different. We spent months checking out bridal shows, and venues, and the more information we got, the more overwhelmed we became. We were lucky to have met Michael at an open house at one of the venues we were considering. Unlike the other vendors, Michael was inviting, easy to talk to, and was very personable. He asked questions us, and about what we envisioned on our special day. He provided us with referrals for wedding locations and vendors he thought would make a good fit. I was surprised he didn't try to sell us anything at that day. Instead he gave us some really good information and homework to think about. Michael followed up with us the following week and we scheduled a consultation. He was on time, his packages were reasonable, and he had lots of ideas to elevate our wedding day. Prior to hiring True Luxe Events, we felt like the wedding planning process was like putting together a puzzle with a blindfold on. Michael has made the planning process fun and effortless! We're just a few months away from tying the knot, and with the help of Michael and his team, I know it's going to be our best day ever!!!

It was Perfect wedding with little glitches but everything was so beautiful! If you think you don't need a wedding coordinator trust me you do! Not sure how I would do it without Michael and his assistant crew! Michael is the one of the best wedding coordinator, not only did he go beyond to make me feel comfortable, I am incredibly lucky to have him help coordinate my wedding with the recommendation of my sister!
