I was so excited to shop for my wedding dress, but unfortunately my experience was incredibly disappointing.
My stylist, Hailey, made the appointment feel rushed and uncom...fortable. When I wanted to take a moment to soak in finding my dress, she said, “What more do you want?” When my mom said we wanted to go home and discuss the purchase with my dad before making such a big financial decision, Hailey became rude and dismissive, making us feel pressured to buy that day.
The issues continued afterward. I ordered a custom veil, and over a year later I found out my inspiration photos had never been sent to the designer. I was also told I would receive sketches before production, but I never did. The veil was made incorrectly, had to be reordered as a rush, and I still don’t have an estimated delivery date.
When I picked up my dress for the first time, it wouldn’t zip over my upper back and shoulders. I understand alterations are part of the process, but after everything else, I was standing in my wedding dress sobbing because what should have been a happy moment had become so stressful.
I left feeling pressured, unheard, and disappointed.
