Seriously, the best! Katie was more than our wedding photographer; she helped get the bride ready, enforced our timeline, organized the other vendors, AND took photographs. We can'...
t thank her enough for everything she did for us on our wedding day. Her photos are creative, fun, well-edited, and were delivered to us a couple of weeks after the wedding. We weren't expecting them so soon! Additionally, she provides sneak peaks 24 hours or so after the event, which was such a nice surprise. Katie and Dylan were so professional, yet fun, and were a joy to be around all day. She put us and our families at ease during the formal shots and suggested great locations based on the daylight, etc. Additionally, she went out of her way to take engagement photos for us at Shenandoah National Park. She drove from her home to meet us at the trailhead at 5am before sunrise. True dedication to her craft. We wouldn't hesitate to hire her again!

the actual day, she had everything under control, including arriving very early and scoping out all the places we took photos. Our photos are AMAZING.
She also took our engagement photos, which were equally incredible! Highly, highly recommend. Hope to work with her again soon!

e feeling nervous... Katie immediately put us at ease. We got beautiful shots back that will help us remember our day forever and our family raved about how comfortable they felt around her at our small, intimate ceremony. She was flexible, professional, communicative throughout the process and came ready with ideas for creative, fun shots. Couldn't recommend True Story Photography & Films more!!!

making sure that was achieved. I, myself, am naturally nervous and awkward taking pictures, she made me and husband comfortable, she laughed with us, and we genuinely had an amazing time while she took our pictures. The price was perfect for our budget, we got all of our pictures back in the exact time she said they’d be. She’s reliable, creative, and is a genuine and lovely person to work with. I would recommend her to everyone!
I wish I could give Katie more than 5 stars! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I felt like I’ve known her and her assistant my whole life! Not to mention how ...
