I cannot say enough positive things about Truer Designs! Laura was an absolute dream to work with - she was sweet and responsive. I trusted that she would do a great job but I was still nervous to see how things would actually look like on the day of my wedding. I was so incredibly happy with how it all turned out - I was blown away at how good everything looked! I had so many friends come up to me talking about how good the florals looked and how they are taking notes for their own future wedding. I keep telling my now husband that I want to have another wedding (with him) and I would choose Truer Designs all over again.

Laura was wonderful to work with! The floral arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and were perfect for a lakefront venue! She was easy to communicate with and kept every detail so well organized!

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Laura and her team were - right from the beginning. She was actually the first florist I reached out to and I quickly realized I hit the jackpot! Laura was extremely communicative, professional, excited, and sweet the whole process. She created the most beautiful mood boards for me based on my inspiration pictures, dealt with me changing some things up due to budget, and really went above and beyond for me and my husband for our wedding day. I have always dreamed of flowers all over at my wedding, and with a little bit of a smaller budget for my big plans, she made it all so beautiful. Everyone loved them the day of as well, and paying for them to set up was a must, and we are so happy to have been able to trust them with such a big day.

Truer was fantastic to work with! Easy to communicate with and pay deposits. She worked with me on pricing, on vision, and was flexible when I had to add a few items. The flowers themselves were gorgeous, even better than I could ever have imagined. In fact, I had them preserved an the woman who did the preservation said she hasn't seen a bouquet this beautiful and healthy before. The decorations were perfect, boutonnieres and corsages were spot-on and there were no hiccups on the day. Florists are one of the few vendors you never meet. That is a shame, because I bet Laura and her team are lovely!! Thank you Laura and Truer Team for everything

We hired Truer Design for our florals at the rehearsal dinner & welcome party on the evening before my son’s wedding. I cannot say enough about her creative genius, efficiency, thoroughness professionalism and calm demeanor. Laura, the owner of Truer Design, transformed our camp venue into an exquisite showcase of natural beauty using the freshest & most interesting florals, greenery AND produce to create an autumnal harvest ambiance. Guests raved about her unique, sophisticated and beautiful design. Some actually took photos of the tables and touches around the charcuterie table, desserts and bar. By the way, this planning was ALL done long distance too. I did not meet Laura in person until she pulled up at our site in a truck … smiling ear to ear and on time, as promised and without drama! As a florist myself, the biggest question after my engagement was who would do my wedding flowers… after a few profiles I had looked at I knew Laura at Truer Designs was what we would go with. They have so much knowledge of floral design, ideas and means to implement each brides’ vision from what I saw working with them. Our day was so perfect, and having no concerns about our florals - because they were in talented hands - made our day even more wonderful! Highly highly recommend!!!

Laura and Truer Design was a dream to work with! She was friendly, quick to respond, and very supportive and helpful! In the middle of our wedding planning process, I decided to change up the look a bit and Laura was on top of it in terms of changing out some of our flowers for different colored ones! We got so many compliments on the day of for our flowers, and I'm still getting messages about my bouquet! The colors were stunning and Laura and her team were so fast, self-sufficient, and detailed on the wedding day! Oh and our floral installation at our ceremony was incredible. I'd say Truer Designs was affordable for all that she provided us with! I would definitely recommend her to everyone!!

Truer Design was a great choice! Laura was able to take some vague color ideas and a couple of flower pictures and was able to create the flowers of my dreams! She was so helpful and communicative throughout the process. Truer Design was more expensive that some other vendors that I looked at, but to me, it was worth the additional cost to feel super confident in the quality and the vendor as a whole. I got so many compliments throughout the day (and even after) about how gorgeous our flowers were. Truer Design was able to help me design our simple but elegant centerpieces and worked with me as I changed my mind multiple times. Laura was patient and full of knowledge. The quotes were very clear and provided example pictures of what I was going to get. There were no surprises along the way. I would highly recommend Truer Design to any bride or groom!

Truer Design truly blew me away. I knew the vision I had in mind for the florals but Laura Truer and her team brought that vision to life. Ever since I was a little girl it was a dream of mine to get married outside, so when the weather forecast said “90% chance of rain” when checking the weather days before. I was devastated that that might jeopardize the vision Laura and I had been working on for months. The morning of my wedding I trusted her opinion and expertise on whether it was worth it to keep “plan A” to have the ceremony outside. With confidence she said we’re sticking with plan A, and it will be okay. Her firm but thoughtful response gave myself and everyone else confidence to move forward with the original plan. Honestly, it was a miracle but the rain held off for the ENTIRE ceremony. I was so touched when talking with her after the wedding, to hear her say she had been praying all week that the rain would hold off for our ceremony. I’m so glad Laura is who she is… she is one of a kind and truly exceptional. Not that I’m biased or anything but honestly, of all the events and weddings I have been to (quite a few) her work was the most outstanding I have ever seen. Best. Florist. Ever. I hired Laura to design the florals for my daughters wedding in October at Downtown Market in GR. She was spectacular!! From the initial meeting, where I conveyed the vision and the budget, through the design process, to the implementation. It was seamless and wonderful! The florals were beyond what I imagined, they were so stunning. Laura adhered to the budget, didn’t try to convince me to go over budget and gave me more than I thought possible. She was a pleasure to work with! I only wish I lived closer so I could have her design florals for events and parties here. I would 100% not hesitate to recommend Laura and her team. Every email was promptly responded to and she made the stressful process of planning a wedding easy.

Laura and team’s design for my bridal bouquet and the florals for the bridal party were exactly what I was hoping for, yet more beautiful than I could have imagined. I couldn’t get over how gorgeous the flowers were, and they smelled amazing all day. During a day full of lovely details, I was so in awe of my bouquet. The Truer Design team made the process so easy and fun! They were very willing to work within our budget and were so helpful throughout the entire process.

Laura and Truer Design were wonderful to work with and helped my wedding floral vision become a reality! The day of the wedding they came and set everything up and it all stayed fresh and in place through the windy, summer day. The bouquets and centerpieces were beautifully put together. We were able to repurpose the backdrop from the ceremony to the head table and it was stunning in both places. I would highly recommend truer design, truly a joy to work with!

Truer Design was very responsive and receptive to our vision. She revised our proposal over and over to our requests even adding more rentals and designs a couple weeks out from our wedding! The flowers were fresh, kept all day in the hot summer heat, and photographed beautifully. It was a life-saver having Truer come to our venue to do the setup. Most of the arrangements from the ceremony were repurposed for the rehearsal as well. Overall, we are very happy to have chosen Truer Design for our wedding florals.

Laura and Truer Designs were so wonderful to work with! I was an out of state bride which was already stressful and they helped me create a beautiful plan for the floral arrangements for our big day -- I truly felt at ease knowing they were handling it (also I asked at least 100 questions and they never lost patience with me). And all of this was BEFORE we had to completely readjust due to COVID -- so then they helped me plan a SECOND entirely perfect floral arrangement for our downsized ceremony and family dinner. The flowers went above and beyond my expectations, the people were so kind and made everything so easy. I will be using them again when I can have our reception next year and I am so excited to do so!

Truer Design made my wedding floral dreams come true! Having a wedding in 2020 was already stressful enough and Laura and her team made the process of making my unique vision come to life so easy. I had to change cities, venues, and vendors 90 days before my wedding and Laura jumped right in with no hesitation to make sure we were on track. I would say my style was something I hadn't seen in the West Michigan area before and really needed someone who was willing to be creative. I was so thrilled how open Truer Design was to all my quirky ideas and how well she kept those ideas in budget. I also had already bought dried florals and vases before I had to make my changes, and Truer Design was able to use them in my wedding. Which I greatly appreciated. Day of the wedding went seamlessly. All flowers were delivered, set up, and taken down on time, and I didn't have any worries as the bride. My bouquet was so dreamy and beyond what I thought I could ever have, and the tables/decor blew me away. I would 100% recommend working with Laura and her team for any occasion, but especially if you are a bride with a more modern taste!

It was so thorough and thoughtful and included each type of flower and greenery that would be used. On our wedding day, my jaw literally dropped when I saw the flowers for the ceremony space, which included huge aisle arrangements and a hanging floral piece. Laura was wonderful to work with! She was easy to communicate with and did an awesome job of staying within my budget, even when I needed to make changes at the very last minute! The final product was STUNNING. Everything from the huppah, to the bouquets, to the tables looked beautiful. This review is long overdue. Laura's craftsmanship, professionalism, and floral design is amazing. My husband and I got married in August of 2018, and Laura put together the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and focal points for our tables. Guests from our wedding still comment on how absolutely stunning the flowers were. Laura was also incredibly responsive throughout the process. She did a fabulous job, and we cannot thank her enough for her efforts!

Truer design was absolutely amazing!! A florist was probably one of my harder decisions to make and I'm so glad I went with Laura. They took my ideas and made them real! She even was able to incorporate some of my Aunt's wedding gown into my bridal bouquet! I cannot say enough good things!

Laura of Truer Design is amazing! I went to her with all of my wild, non-traditional, somewhat all over the place ideas, and she turned them into something so wonderful. I still can't get over the flowers and decor from our wedding!

It was such a pleasure working with Laura! Planning a bridal shower from the other side of the state can be challenging! Laura worked on color schemes and arrangements while on vacation with her family! She dealt with any and all changes I threw at her involving colors...vases...and mason jars!!!! The flowers on the day of the shower were AMAZING!!!!!!! She also arranged the flowers of my son and daughter-in-laws wedding! Unbelievable! Kates bouquet was beyond words! The table decorations were exactly what Kate envisioned! Laura was easy to contact and responded to my requests very quickly! Laura was AMAZING! I sent her a few Pinterest pictures and that was It! I didn't have do anything else, and our flowers were absolutely amazing! When I saw my bouquet for the first time, it took my breath away. I have NO idea how she was able to create EXACTLY what I wanted from a few emails and pictures but it was even better than I imagined. And within our budget!

Laura was amazing to work with. My fiance and I met with her with a vague idea of colors we had in mind. Laura helped guide our "feelings" into a beautiful English Garden inspired theme that was realized beautifully on our wedding day. She also stuck within our budget very closely ($1800) and provided us with options that would help bring the cost down further when we asked. She was so understanding! On our wedding day, we found extras everywhere. Having never worked with a florist before, I am not sure if this is normal (extra flowers that are not needed in requested arrangements are just used elsewhere) or if Laura is just sweet, but I suspect a combination of the two. We had extra arrangements on our cake, around our cake, and on every table. Everything was delivered and set up on time and just looked so wonderful. We would gladly and quickly recommend her to another couple or anyone needing florals for an event. Professional, helpful, and sweet!
