UNMC Truhlsen Campus Events Center was the best venue we could have chosen to have our wedding reception at! Candace, the events center coordinator, was truly amazing to work with. She was so organized and helpful throughout the whole process. Everything went so perfectly! Cannot thank Candace and UNMC enough for making our big day so special!!

We had a wonderful experience with the Truhlsen center. They were so incredibly helpful! When I would email them with questions they responded back very quickly. They made sure we weren’t stressed out and that everyone just had a good time.

we had our ceremony and reception here and it was awesome!! Candace was awesome and so helpful throughout the entire process!! I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great reception area and place to work with!!

I couldn't have asked for a better place to have our reception. Both my husband and I have huge families, so we needed a place that would fit 350 people. The Truhlsen Center did just that! It was very comfortable and affordable. There are very little restrictions (you can have candles, red wine, etc...) I loved that I was able to choose my caterer, rental company, DJ, and photographer as well. Candace was amazing too! She was so helpful and made sure my day was exactly how I wanted it! Couldn't have been happier.

While we were planning our wedding they switched event coordinators and it caused me to panic a bit but Candace and Kacie never let a single thing slip through the cracks. They were quick to answer emails and return calls, they worked closely with all of our vendors and made sure everything went smoothly day of and even turned on lights after hours so our photographer could get some photos of us. We got married out on the skating rink (in the summer it is just cement) and this was the first wedding they had done out there. It went off without a hitch and the Candace and Kacie made sure of that! I was beautiful (even though it was extremely hot that day) and our guests were very impressed! The venue itself is amazing due to two things: its foyer is beautiful and stunning and provides an amazing space for a cocktail hour and the ballroom is HUGE and it is neutral so you don't have to worry about it clashing with any colors. We had an amazing day there and I know anyone who chooses UNMC will have the same experience!

Lisa did an amazing job helping Jake and I plan our reception. She was never more than a phone call or email away. She answered all questions and made very helpful suggestions. She made the planning go smoothly. The venue itself was perfect for our group. The foyer was awesome for cocktail hour and the hall had plenty of room for our guests. We had several compliments on the venue.

First of all- Lisa Grotrian- the event coordinator is absolutely WONDERFUL! Lisa was so extremely helpful with everything, she helped us with the caterer, rental company, florist, cake and DJ. She worked so hard to coordinate between everyone to accomomdate every need! The hall is absolutely beautiful and truly, Lisa works so hard to make sure everything is done and organized perfectly. Parking is readily available very close by, bathrooms are easily accessible, two entrances with handicap accessibility, this center has it ALL. The best part- it is SO AFFORDABLE!!
