My husband and I would recommend this venue to anyone as one of the absolute best. From the very first interaction with Debi Crossland, the resorts wedding coordinator, I knew that we had picked the perfect spot. She made planning a wedding incredibly easy and never once for a minute did I feel stressed during the entire wedding process even though we were planning a wedding in Tubac, AZ when we live a few hours away in Phoenix. Debi and her staff were beyond helpful, caring, kind, and made my family and friends feel like they were right at home. Words cannot even describe how beautiful this venue is until you see it in person, pictures just don't do it justice. This venue is a perfect combination of an indoor wedding ceremony with an outdoor wedding reception. The grounds are truley amazing! The resort is breathtaking. It's so peaceful and inviting and all of our guests raved about how they had never been to such a picturesque wedding where it really seems magical. The food is out of this world, absolutely delicious! Everyone had a spectacular evening dancing under the twinkling lit cottonwood trees. It was a picture out of a fairy tail book! If you really want to end the night on a magical note, they offer an amazing firework show out over the beautiful valley and I highly recommend it!! I couldn't believe that planning a wedding could be this easy, but Debi and her staff make it possible. My guests are still raving about how this was the best wedding they have ever attended and that truly speaks volumes about the venue and its wonderful staff. If you want to get married in this is your spot! The memories we made that night at our wedding are truly monumental and it was by far the best night of our lives. with everything they needed and the onsite salon/spa made it very easy for me to enjoy some alone time with my bridesmaids to get our nails done before the grand event. Debi is incredibly warm and knowledgeable about the venue/resort and allowed for us to enjoy the most fun wedding I've ever attended!

The food was outstanding, the place is beautiful overall. 80% of my guests stayed at the Resort and were VERY pleased. (Unfortunately not all were able to stay there because closer to the wedding date all rooms were sold out). The only thing I was a little upset about was the construction and remodeling being done so certain areas were unaccesible and one of the pools was closed. BUT... if you are a future couple to get marrie.. Enjoy the new rooms! Would highly recommend Tubac Resort in a heartbeat. friendly staff and excellent service... They really pamper YOU and make your event unforgettable for all.

and the Resort but were very easily convinced that it was a great choice after a day trip down to check out the site, meet with the staff, and roam the town. We were immediately impressed wit the quaint yet spread out setup of rooms and casitas. The resort itself is like a little village on the edge of town. Very attractive and picturesque grounds are the setting for the southwestern inspired facilities. The first selling point was the on-site chapel. It is beautiful and perfectly designed for a wedding. The great big double doors were perfect for a 'grand entrance' as well as wedding photos later on! Next came the reception site - there are many to choose from but the Otero House Meeting Room was perfect for our small gathering. With a nice outdoor patio and a beautiful view over the golf-course to the Mountains! Food is a very important part of the reception - and Tubac Golf Resort did not disappoint. Our Planner at the resort, Debi, was able to suggest a fantastic menu from the selection of pre-set choices, and she worked with us to tweak and change a number of things to make it perfect for us. We did a buffet style brunch which served our afternoon wedding very nicely. The only issue we could complain about was the vegan option for some of our guests was fairly lacking. But, the resort did allow us to provide our own pies (yes wedding pies) for dessert. When it comes to all the other necessities - Music, Photographers, etc, Debi had a great list of recommended vendors - All of whom are familiar with the facilities and would be a great addition to your ceremony. We used a husband/wife Photography team that they recommended (Steven Palm Photography) and couldn't be happier with the experience. They were great to work with, knew all the good photo spots, and provided us with so many fantastic wedding photos! Finally, since this was kind of an out-of-town wedding for us - we were very happy with the accommodations. Many guests came from out of state, and the rooms were clean, super comfortable, and maintained that southwestern charm. The layout of the resort, with rooms and buildings spread out all over made it easy for everyone to find each other, and socialize before and after the events. The on-site restaurants made it easy for a breakfast meetup. For our wedding night we stayed in the Otero House - a historical style bungalow with a fantastic outdoor patio, fire pit, indoor sitting area, and small kitchen. This was great for all the girls to get ready, as well as for entertaining later in the evening. One thing to note is that we were very 'hands-on'or DIY for our wedding planning, preferring to make and decorate things ourselves and Debi made this very easy for us to do - for reasons of saving a little money and adding our own personal touches. My wife and I enjoyed our experience so much we cannot wait to go back on our anniversary and spend a relaxing weekend enjoying ourselves and remembering the great time we had just a year ago. Thank you Debi and Tubac Resort for making our day Amazing. For anybody that goes to visit Tubac and thinks it would be a perfect setting for your wedding - then look no further - you will not be disappointed with your choice!

. It was so different from all of the other locations and so gorgeous. Debi and her team were amazing and made sure all of our requests were taken care of. Even when it ended up pouring rain on our wedding day, every detail turned out perfect. It was such a great experience for us and we can't wait to go back to visit!

She made sure the decorator knew where to go, made sure the band set up their equipment, etc. My vendors didn't even contact me at all on my wedding day. I had 109 guests in attendance for the wedding and everybody had an excellent time. The food was excellent and plentiful. I got so many compliments on the food and just everything in general. I just wanted to take the time to thank the staff at the Tubac Golf Resort, especially Debi, for making our day very special. Karla & James

The Tubac Golf Resort is the best location for Tucsonans and Phoenecians alike because of the secluded feeling when you're there, yet the nearness in proximity. Sometimes I take the short drive just to escape the hustle of the city. Their kitchen is exquisite, and so are the massages! With views that are second to none, strolling around their seemingly endless, green acreage is a treat in itself. I can't wait for the day when I get to have my own wedding with them. ould exceed our expectations for them. We had Tubac cater our reception dinner outside under the stars and it was delicious- plenty to eat and everyone was happy! For our wedding day, we got married in a nearby church and had the reception on the lawn at Tubac. The team worked extra hard to make sure my husband and I were pleased & we did not have to worry about anything! I really just wanted to enjoy my day with the family and they definitely made that happen. We opted for the steak or fish dinner & our guests again, were super impressed with the food. This venue has it all- it is classy, friendly, & unique to the area. All of my guests were wowed by the wonderfully landscaped green, the mountain view, & the upscale southwest experience. Debi, the wedding coordinator, truly loves her position and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy!

My daughter was able to enjoy her wedding day without worrying over any of the details. It all came together to provide us all with many happy memories of a special wedding.

ordinator at the resort was very supportive and skillful at providing an area for discussion between my husband and myself when we came up with different perceptions. It was wonderful to turn over our big day to the resort and have the events occur smoothly and with precision. Our guests were very complimentary about the food and attention to detail. Our brunch held on the following morning continued to showcase the resort's ability to coordinate multiple events with ease. Since this was a destination wedding, the resort did a marvelous job of coordinating all of the necessary rooms. Our guests have been inquiring about our next event at the resort. Everyone had a ball and want to return!

y been on the sales staff and had never taken the helm on ANY weddings! They TURNED THE WATER SPRINKLERS for the grass ON while my bridesmaids and I were taking pictures before my ceremony, we got wet and it took them over 20min to shut them off, after my (personally hired) wedding assistant had to inform them that this had even happened. The resort wedding planner drove me back to my room before the ceremony and drove me right past my groom as he was walking to the chapel for our ceremony, ruining my "first look" at the chapel door which I had been planning for months. (Let me tell you seeing me and my dress piled in a golf cart wasn't the "first look" I had imagined.) I had booked the majority of he resort for the wedding and the front desk staff NEVER knew who I was any of the times I had to go up there to deal with room stuff, it was always "wait, what was your name again? And when I first checked in I was even told I didn't have a room. For he $19,000 I spent plus all the money my guests spent on rooms you would think they could remember my name and that I was the bride. The resort furnished "wedding planner" ( if you can call her that, because she really doesn't do any of the jobs I invisioned a wedding planner doing for my wedding) leaves after the champagne toast so the rest of your wedding goes unplanned (dances, bouquet toss, garter toss, heck if you do your toast first, she won't even stay for dinner) Luckily, my awesome florist warned me about this and she put me I touch with a great day off coordinator who was a total life saver. I was never offered an apology of any of these mess ups, and I was flat refused a refund of any kind for the wedding planner mess. In summary, please don't make the mistake I did. I am sure there are better venues in the tuscon area with better service for a more reasonable price.

There was such a sense of community and no one had to drive home at the end of the night. The wedding chapel is picturesque, the mountain views are breath taking, and the resort itself represents Arizona so well with it's Spanish and South Western influences. I love the history of the place we well! The food was the best wedding food I think I've ever had and the Tubac crew was fine with the reception going an hour over (ending at 1 am instead of midnight). The wedding room rates were also very affordable. The event planner was hard to get a hold of at times but was very enthusiastic and helpful over-all. She was very willing to go above and beyond. The wedding coordinator the day of the event was amazing! Such a sweet and helpful lady. You can tell her heart is really in this. The biggest downside I would say is the pricing. You have to use there catering and wine priced, which are resort prices that can be over-the-top if you have a large wedding. I believe most locations, however, have this same problem. I suppose it is the price you pay for the convenience and the great location. Over all, Tubac is a great wedding location and is the perfect mix of nice and elegant without being over the top and stuffy :)

l parties on Friday, used the salon and spa on the wedding day a long with the chapel and reception room and brunch Sunday morning. They were able to make everything I asked for happen. The only problem we had the entire weekend was some issues with the table placement. Everything else was great, service was sensational! Really have nothing bad to say!

ly breath-taking. The suites are spacious with a wonderful rustic feel...but with a jacuzzi tub! My husband and I looked at several beautiful locations before we chose Tubac, and I can say with 100% certainty, that this location was everything that we wanted and could have hoped for. The wedding planner even superglued my erring back together while I was freeking out the day of the wedding! The on-site restaurant is wonderful, and you cant beat the sunsets! Good luck with your wedding planning, but I can guarantee this place will take a lot of the stress out of the planning process!

f not they didn't stick their nose in. It was fabulous. It is beautiful and is out of town so there is no crazy traffic. All my guests commented repeatedly how beautiful my wedding was. I hardly had to do any decorations, I did not need them. Wow is really all I can say. NO regrets at all

What was most important to us were the wonderful comments from our guets, everyone had a magical weekend and said it was one of the best wedding locations they have ever been too.
