erything was handled very professionally, and Lindsey communicated often and well. I loved that we were able to attend a food trial. Also, I was so impressed with how accommodating they were to all our needs. The venue is beautiful with the views overlooking downtown Holland, the windmill, and Lake Macatawa. And the food was amazing! We received so many positive comments from our guests about how good the food was. I would definitely recommend CityVu! Thanks, Lindsey, Jillian, and the rest of the team!

so much behind the scenes work! The venue itself is beautiful and I got SO many compliments on how delicious the food was. I had both my ceremony and reception there, and they did an awesome job moving chairs/tables around in between the two events. Would definitely recommend!!

us feel very comfortable. The venue is absolutely beautiful... it's very modern, clean, and classic. As others have said, take advantage of the LED lighting! Our guests also really enjoyed the patio. (Honestly, you get the most bang for your buck here, especially compared to other venues in the Grand Rapids/Holland area). And the venue is stress-free! CityVu basically sets up everything except for centerpieces, and you probably wouldn't even need centerpieces because it's so pretty! We felt like royalty at CityVu, and I recommend staying the night at the hotel as well! It was nice to not have to leave the venue and that your guests don’t have to take a bus to a hotel or something. HIGHLY recommend this venue! Morgan and the entire CityVu team; thank you for everything! You’ll never know how appreciative we are! We had a fairytale wedding day.

rybody was so kind during the entire process and patient as we had a ton of confusion at times. Your venue is drop dead gorgeous and I was so stunned at how beautiful the room looked and the balcony with the sunset. We had A LOT of guests raving on how gorgeous the space was and how they wanted to stay all night and enjoy it. Looking at the guests pictures on the balcony with the sunset behind them was amazing. The food was so good and we also had a ton of compliments on the menu and delicious tastes. I even had a guest rave about how the Pinot Grigio was the best she had ever tried. nues seemed TOO large. This one was perfect size and gave everyone space. All the guests have been commenting how wonderful it was - the views were spectacular and the room was perfect! I didn't need to over do it on the decorations - the room was beautiful enough. The LED lights on the ceiling were fun - we could pick our own colors and during the dancing part of the evening, they changed! I absolutely LOVED this location and would recommend it for anyone who wants to have a stress-free experience!

well as with Shannon at times and there customer service was exceptional! They were always on top of everything which made little for us to worry about. The Venue is beautiful in side and out and is very spacious. AND you cant beat that view either! We had about 100 guests at our wedding but there was plenty of room for more. Take advantage of the LED lighting it was awesome! All of my guests had great things to say about the food! Lindsey the bartender and all of the other staff members were so wonderful too, i couldn't believe how accommodating and helpful they all were. They made our day so special. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

very well! Morgan, Shannon, and the team were so helpful every step of the way: from initial meetings to questions throughout the planning process and then execution of our event. The wait staff was so kind and friendly, and that I've been to events elsewhere where that is not always the case. It was so great to be surrounded by so many helpful individuals who really wanted our event to be the best it could be. Regarding food, we were able to do a tasting of several of the options for the buffet and they planned a fun event for that. Our guests LOVED the buffet and all of the options, but particularly the beef tenderloin tips with mushrooms! I had many friends and family telling me that they could not stop thinking about the food! The staff was very accommodating to a handful of our guests who were vegetarians and gluten free. We had a dry wedding, but still opted to have an attendant at the bar to help guests get drinks quicker. The venue is just beautiful and you really can go light on the decorating and still have a space that will blow your guests away! The patio is a beautiful place to take pictures and relax, the hanging globes add a fun touch along with the LED lighting (which you can customize to fit your color scheme). We had plenty of space for a photo booth, too! The naturally light from all of the windows is just beautiful! The week of our wedding they also hung lights on the curtain at the south end of the room, and it was a really nice update! So happy they were able to do that before our wedding! I would recommend staying at CityFlatsHotel the night of your wedding, as well! (Stay in the master suite, it's great!) Their rooms are unique and it is so convenient to head to your room right after the reception. I could go on and on about how perfectly everything went! 100% recommend CityVu Events for your wedding reception or any event!

e, during, and after the event. The coordinators are very knowledgeable about event planning specifically timing and flow of the reception events. Even our DJs commented on how well our evening agenda was planned out. Morgan and the girls get all the credit. The bar staff kept up with our guests and were very friendly. The food was stellar too! We had many pleased and well fed guests. If we ever find ourselves needing a venue in Holland, MI, we'll be back at CityVu.
