We hosted our wedding reception at Tumbleroot Brewery, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We wanted a fun, relaxed, joy‑filled celebration, and Tumbleroot delivered that atmosphere effortlessly. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor areas, and you can reserve one or both depending on the size and style of your event. Our wedding was in April, and Angela went out of her way to make sure the outdoor space was cleaned up after the winter season and freshly planted with beautiful flowers. It added such a warm, welcoming touch and made the space feel perfect for a spring celebration.
The team truly made the experience exceptional. Angela, Jordan, and the entire management staff could not have been more accommodating. They were incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely easy to work with from start to finish. They prepared a special drink both alcoholic and non-alcoholic that our guest raved about. Their drink menu is amazing with a variety of beverages that were all great. They even adjusted the lighting and decorations to match our preferences, giving the space a lovely wedding feel while still keeping the relaxed charm that makes Tumbleroot so special.
Jordan also arranged for us to have a pottery station set up, which ended up being a huge hit with both kids and adults. It added such a unique, interactive element to the reception and made the night even more memorable for our guests.
The atmosphere was vibrant and fun—ideal for a lively party. We had a DJ, but the venue would also be fantastic for live music. Our guests had an amazing time, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. If you’re looking for a venue that’s flexible, welcoming, and run by people who truly care, Tumbleroot Brewery is a fantastic choice for a wedding reception.
I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding at Tumbleroot, and it was truly a beautiful venue to work with. The combination of an outdoor ceremony space and an indoor/outdoor reception created a seamless and inviting experience for guests. The venue offers ample space, two well-appointed bars serving excellent drinks, and a thoughtfully designed layout that flows effortlessly throughout the event. The staff was professional, attentive, and wonderful to collaborate with from start to finish. I highly recommend Tumbleroot for couples looking for a versatile, spacious, and well-run venue for their wedding or special event.

Tumbleroot Alegría is a popular wedding venue in Santa Fe, NM. Our historic music venue is perfect for small, medium, and large events. Complete with indoor and outdoor bars, stages, sound systems, dance floors, and game areas, our venue has a flexible floor plan for any occasion. Indoors, the venue can accommodate 150 guests seated, up to 425 guests (standing room only), and our outdoor patio can accommodate another 120 guests seated, or up to 200 guests mixed seated/standing.
Our Alegría location offers a beautiful taproom and music venue—the historic Club Alegría—which has been a cornerstone of Santa Fe culture for decades. The large music hall is framed by massive wooden vigas and posts, diamond plaster walls, farmhouse chandeliers, and a large stage that hosts live entertainment most evenings. This is also a fully accessible facility, with accessible bathrooms.
Our outdoor patio overlooks a bubbling koi pond where hops creep up trellises, and guests relax to watch the sunset, sip cocktails, listen to music on our outdoor stage, and play lawn games. This space provides the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony, casual welcome party, or outdoor reception.
Space rentals start at just $1500 for a full space buyout, up to $4500 during peak times. Discounted rates are available for indoor use only during the summer months. As a brewery/distillery, we already carry event licensing - saving you an extra expense. We love hosting wedding receptions, welcome parties, brunches, and more!

Are you having a smaller celebration? Tumbleroot Pottery Pub is a fantastic location for small receptions and welcome parties. Located just off the plaza, this is a light-filled space complete with rustic charm, lots of plants, and locally-made ceramic wares. With an added patio space, we can fit up to 60 guests for your event. All beers and craft cocktails are served in handmade ceramic wares, and a hand-building clay experience can be added to any event. In addition to our Alegría and Pottery Pub locations, we have two additional spaces: our Rancho Viejo Tasting Room & Production Space, where our beers, spirits, and cocktails are made; and Paseo Pottery, our ceramic studio and gallery in the Meow Wolf neighborhood. We love hosting wedding welcome parties, receptions, farewell events, and bachelor/bachelorette parties at all locations.

- Jordan PedersonEvents ManagerJordan is an Events Manager at Tumbleroot, and also works as a Studio Manager at Paseo Pottery. After graduating from Northeastern University in 2021, she moved to Bend, OR and began working in the hospitality and outdoors industries. She moved to Santa Fe in July 2023, after spending 8 months living out of a backpack, working on farms and in hostels across Europe and Turkiye. Outside of work, Jordan loves to hike, paddle board, make pottery, read, swim, hang out with her cats (Frankie and Ollie), watch Below Deck, and travel.
