The moment my husband and I stepped onto the Tumbleweed grounds; we knew we had found our wedding venue. The space is so magical, so peaceful, and perfectly captures all the best elements of the desert. Its not easy to find a turnkey venue in the desert and Tumbleweed offered it all - a beautiful space, great décor, furniture and lovely staff. We fulfilled our dreams of marrying under Joshua Trees Special thank you and shoutout to Dorothy, Manager at Tumbleweed who is an angel on earth and literally made our wedding day happen – she worked so hard to help make our wedding day so special for us and we are forever grateful for her!
After hosting our wedding at Tumbleweed, we have nothing but positivity to share. First, the venue is absolutely stunning. The grounds are very well kept and create a uniquely beautiful space to host an event. On top of that, Tumbleweed is an extremely pleasant venue to work with. Dorothy, the event manager, is friendly and responsive. Additionally, the wedding package included a ton of cool furniture and accessories that work perfectly with the space and aesthetic. Highly recommended!
Helped make the wedding of our dreams possible. Gorgeous grounds, professional and quick-responding staff who were supportive leading up to and the day of our wedding. Willing to work with us on aspects of our wedding that we wanted present and ways to get around the noise ordinance of the area with silent disco headsets. The space is incredibly special and well worth every penny!
The vendors that they recommended were mostly great. There were some communication issues with the bar company that we hired for the event through Tumbleweed, for which I am unable to review individually, but overall, all vendors they recommended were fantastic.
I got married here in October 2021 and I could not have been happier with our venue. We had originally planned on an October 2020 wedding but had to postpone due to COVID. They were accommodating and worked with us as we navigated all the challenges of postponing our wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous with ample indoor and outdoor space. The desert vibe was exactly what we wanted! Yet it's comfortable and ADA accessible for all our guests. There is plenty of room for guests to distance depending on comfort levels. We held our reception and ceremony outdoor and Tumbleweed's staff was great. They handled everything and I never had to worry about setup. Thank you so much for an amazing wedding day Tumbleweed!
We booked Tumbleweed Sanctuary, Garden, and Labyrinth for our wedding ceremony and reception. It was truly the best decision we made for our wedding day. As soon as we visited Tumbleweed and met with Julie to discuss our vision, we knew it was the perfect place. The sprawling property has many different seating areas, space for game, indoor/outdoor space, and a nature walk for pictures that look as if you are in the middle of nowhere in the desert! There are so many different places to take BEAUTIFUL pictures, enjoy nature, and gather with friends and family. All of the furniture and decor provided is beautiful, modern, bohemian style that compliments the desert so well. The staff was incredible to work with to answer our MANY questions and coordinate our day flawlessly. During the planning process, we were able to visit the venue a few different times by ourselves, with our parents, and with our coordinator and the staff was always so welcoming, kind, and patient. The venue and staff are LGTBQ+ friendly and allowed us to convert the “male/female” bathrooms to “gender neutral” to accommodate all of our guests. Our family and friends all adored Tumbleweed and had such a fun time exploring the property, taking photos, and soaking in the beauty of the desert. I would highly recommend Tumbleweed Sanctuary, Garden, and Labyrinth for a wedding/ special event venue! I wish we could get married here again!!
We could not recommend Tumbleweed Sanctuary more! The venue is absolutely stunning, with tons of Joshua Trees at the back of the property, and other beautiful cacti. The sunset there is incredible and made for absolutely beautiful sunset photos. We got married at the two big Joshua Trees and we couldn't be happier with the unique "arch". A lot is included in the rental and at the time of our wedding, we felt the cost of renting the venue was very reasonable. There is also an indoor building that is beautifully decorated inside that we used for our rehearsal dinner, and can also be used for dinner/the reception (we chose to have our dinner and reception outdoors under the string lights). Our guests were blown away by how incredible the venue was and we are so thankful we were able to have our wedding at Tumbleweed. The staff there are wonderful to work with as well! They actually saved our wedding day - our previous venue canceled on us 3 days before our wedding, and somehow Tumbleweed was available on our date with 3 days notice and they helped us save our day!! We will forever be grateful to Sabrina and Vicki for everything they did to help make our wedding day possible on such short notice.
We got married in October 2019 at Tumbleweed Sanctuary and it was absolutely magical. I did several venue tours, but upon arrival I instantly knew this was thee place. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, and while very clean and landscaped there is a bit of a wild and natural feel. Working with Vicki, and Julie was great! They were extremely accommodating, kind, and just such down to earth people. They understood how important this day meant, and they went above and beyond, because they truly care. One huge perk is that they have unique furniture that you can use! HUGE kudos to Julie for allowing me to rent a few of their tables and chairs for my rehearsal dinner at such short notice!! There is a special energy that accompanies this venue, and our guests noticed! We got so many compliments on how beautiful and captivating the venue was! If I could do it again, I would absolutely have NO regrets. Tumbleweed Sanctuary is sacred, and we feel honored to have been able to become one in the center of their labyrinth.
Tumbleweed makes it a point to provide all the furniture and decor, and bathrooms which made our decision to get married there an automatic yes for us. We got to spend time with our family and not have to worry about logistics of setup, managing additional vendors, etc.
They are constantly improving and adding on to the property with offerings, with even more bang for your buck. The staff is incredible!
My husband and I got married at tumbleweed in September 2019 and we truly couldn't have found a better venue for our big day. Not only did it surpass our expectations with how stunning it is ( I had a vision to find a perfect venue space out in the Joshua tree/ yucca valley area) when I saw this space I cried happy tears! I worked specifically with Julie who was an absolute dream she helped me all along the way constantly there to answer any of my questions and help me in any way she could, the entire staff was great! There's gorgeous indoor and outdoor space, parking for vendors and guests, and they are constantly working and keeping up with bettering the venue in any way they can. I highly urge you to check it out for any event you might be thinking about hosting in a dreamy desert space!
Thanks again Julie and the entire tumbleweed family, thanks to you guys we had a truly perfect wedding day!
Tumbleweed Sanctuary is truly magical! There is something very special about this place. From the warm staff, who truly put an effort into making your day/experience special, to the beauty and energy radiating from these grounds. The staff respond right away to any questions you may have and even check on you from time to time to make sure you’re not losing your mind (LOL). The venue itself is gorgeous! Our guests were blown away upon entering the grounds. Even our event staff kept commenting how beautiful this place is and how they have worked many events, but this place was by far their favorite. It is truly special with all the desert vibes. We are so grateful and honored to have been able to hold our wedding here and become part of the Tumbleweed family.
Tumbleweed Sanctuary was everything I had hoped for and more. From the very first call, Julie was so warm, welcoming, and calming. The energy that she brought to the process was exactly what I wanted to cultivate for our elopement, and it was even more apparent at the site itself. The location is breathtaking, and they've done so much to make it even more special, adding crystals, essential oil diffusers, and so many other touches throughout. We got married in the labyrinth, which was really important to me, and there was a little altar of crystals and feathers in the middle. I felt really grounded and energized on the day of the ceremony. We didn't have anyone there except for a photographer and officiant, but everyone who's seen the photos can't believe how incredible the Sanctuary was. It was the perfect setting for an amazing day.
My husband and I got married at the Tumbleweed Sanctuary last October and it was heaven! Not only was the venue beautiful AND included everything (that is right, no rentals at all), but the staff there were absolutely incredible. Julie was our main point of contact and she was a dream!
Weddings can be stressful, but Julie was responsive, helpful and was a key component to making our day special. We have had our photos featured on several accounts and part of that was due to the gorgeous grounds at Tumbleweed Sanctuary. We do not live close to Joshua Tress, so having a strong venue was essential.
Our guests still talk about how beautiful it was and honestly we could not imagine any other place we would have liked to get married and hold our reception at.
Hands down, this place is incredible!
