What really set him apart was how much he went above and beyond the typical role of a DJ. He helped clear dinner plates, took candid photos and videos throughout the night (which we are SO grateful for!), and was always flexible and thoughtful when it came to planning meetings around our schedule. Working with K Show was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He’s professional, talented, and genuinely cares about making your day special. We can’t recommend him enough!

His mix of music and transitions from song to song never let the energy down and kept the crowd hype the entire night! We got so many comments following the wedding about how awesome our dance floor was, and how it was one of their favorite wedding dance floors they’ve ever experienced. We highly recommend K Show for any event!!

our playlist. My husband and I have a very wide range of music interests and I come from an international family, so we are a tough crowd to please. We took a chance on a "DJ in training" and ended up with Trish. IT WAS THE BEST DJ EXPERIENCE. EVER. Trish is a brilliant DJ. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, including our interests (my husband and I met as geologists), and she saved the eclectic Spotify playlist I put together for my wedding. Then, she worked her magic! Trish mixed all of my music so each song blended seamlessly with the next, and she added a few mixes of her own that fit the vibe. She even mixed The Police's song "Roxanne" so it just said "Rocks!" in honor of our love for geology, which was SO FUN. In addition to her amazing mixing, Trish helped us facilitate our wedding, including instructing guests where to go and running the reception games (musical chairs/scavenger hunt and the shoe game). At the end of the night, Trish accepted my song requests and we had a WILD time. My guests continue to tell me how impressive her DJing was. Trish knows how to throw a party. She is responsive and personable, and I will always work with her in the future. If you choose to work with Turn Up Columbus, I strongly recommend Trish!!

though it says the DJ is "non-experienced" doesn't mean they are not experienced. It basically just means they are newer to the company. The company ensures that all of their DJs go through a probation process to ensure they are all Turn Up quality. We booked a "non-experienced" DJ and he was great. We met with him several times before the wedding to make sure he knew the vibe of the party. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because our DJ refused to play songs with cuss words in them. By all means, we still jammed out to the clean versions but I wish that would've been something he discussed with us prior.

He worked perfectly with FPC's day-of coordinator for the ceremony, and he took extra time to allow our videographer to hook into his sound equipment to generate a more balanced product for her recording of the ceremony. He was charming and happily energetic on the mic when it was time to announce various stages of the evening, and he absolutely NAILED our taste in dance music for the remainder of the night. We credit his performance to the amount of effort put in before the event, where we were asked to meet in-person twice and provide as many specific examples of our musical taste as possible to help him understand our needs. All in all, I cannot imagine there is another DJ for such an affordable cost who will put as much effort in as they will.

Gabby, was a ton of fun to work with- she was able to build a playlist that kept people dancing all night long and incorporated 2 very different music styles from both the bride and the groom.

Zach was out DJ and knocked it out of the park. He was there for the ceremony and the reception. He did an amazing job with my song requests for the ceremony (and I had a tricky one) I wanted him to play some Christmas music (December wedding, Christmas lover) and it couldn’t have been better. He touched base with me and my husband throughout the night to make sure we didn’t need anything and played the requests he had from the crazy teenagers at the wedding lol it was better than I could’ve imagined!

On the day of, he read the environment of our party well and made sure everyone was having a good time. Bonus: My husband's grandma fell at one point and he rushed over to check on her and provide assistance with his EMT background! Everyone commented on how sweet it was and that he went above and beyond. Turn Up Columbus will give you the same (if not better!) services than many of their competitors for a lower cost. Would definitely recommend!

y talk about how we wish we were throwing ANOTHER wedding so we could work with her again! She was an absolute dream. She was SO communicative, helped with our timeline, put us SO at ease during our planning, was super flexible with meetings, and made us feel like absolute rock stars on our day. She made sure we were the guests of honor at our wedding. She kept our dance floor PACKED and honored our “must” and “do not” plays. If me and my now husband have a main fault, it’s that we are not great at making decisions. Drea worked with that and let us give her general “vibes” for certain parts of our day and totally delivered with the absolute right playlist. Like I said before, Drea made us feel so special. She offered to get us drinks and brought us dessert. She checked in with us constantly, she went so far above and beyond and thought of things we had no idea to consider. Also, our uplighting looked amazing and totally added to the venue and dance floor! If we had to begin planning our day over, Drea would be the first person we hired. We truly cannot recommend her enough, and we hope she enjoys doing children’s birthday parties / random family events / random Friday dinner parties because she has lifelong customers and Number One Fans in us.

en with so many vendors you can lose track of information but Kellen was sure he had everything he needed for our wedding day. Not only was leading up to the wedding great but the day of was amazing!! Kellen was seriously a HUGE part of why our wedding went so smoothly. He stuck to a great timeline and made sure to play songs that everyone loved. He was super energetic and really great at communicating. Overall I would book over and over again!!
