As a June 2026 bride, I can't recommend TurnUp Columbus enough! The company did an amazing job pairing us with a DJ who closely matched our music taste and personality after we completed a survey, and he ended up being the perfect fit for our wedding. Arron was so much fun to work with and kept the dance floor alive all night long. He was personable, engaging, and even took the time during dinner to go around to our guests and ask for song requests, which everyone loved.
He did a great job incorporating our love of country music while still keeping the energy high and making sure there was something for everyone. His song selection, mixing, and ability to know exactly how long to play each song before moving on kept the dance floor packed.
He was professional, fun, and truly helped make our reception such a memorable celebration. We are so grateful for the role he played in our wedding day and would highly recommend TurnUp Columbus and Arron to any couple looking for a DJ who knows how to create an incredible atmosphere!

While I wear many hats within the company, my favorite part of what I do is getting to know both our couples and our DJs on a personal level so I can pair people based on personality, energy, music taste, and overall vibe — not just a playlist.
I’ve always been a people person, and I genuinely love building relationships and creating experiences that feel unique to each couple. Whether I’m talking through wedding visions, calming nerves during planning, or helping narrow down the perfect fit from our DJ team, my goal is always the same: make the process feel easy, exciting, and completely stress-free.
Outside of weddings, you can usually find me at a concert, discovering new artists, or diving into different music genres for fun. Music has always been such a huge part of my life, which makes it incredibly rewarding to help create celebrations centered around moments people will remember forever.
At the end of the day, I want every couple to feel supported, understood, and genuinely excited throughout the planning process — like they have a built-in cheerleader every step of the way. Because the best weddings aren’t just beautiful events — they’re personal, unforgettable experiences filled with memories that last long after the final song ends.

l in assisting us at the venue. She kept the energy high all night, rolled with the couple of unexpected things that went down, and kept us all on the dance floor until the very end. The communication from TUC was also really good - we had email or text communications from them almost once a month after booking, and then more as the day got closer and our DJ got assigned. If you are looking for the sweet transitions between songs, a great bass drop moment every so often, and the flow of the night to be handled well, this is a great place to book (and ask for Trish!).

I had listed the song’s version and provided a link to that song for the DJ and the one that was played during the ceremony was not the wedding instrumental version, it was the regular instrumental version that had upbeat drums and guitar in the background instead of the slow paced solo violin version I had chosen. It sounded like a completely different song. Additionally, not all of our must plays were played at the reception, which in itself isn’t a big deal but when requests from some of our guests were being played that we weren’t crazy about over some of our must plays, it was a little disappointing. We also wished the anniversary dance song was extended or that each group was called up sooner. My husband’s parents were in the last group to be called and when they got to the dance floor the song was ending before they could dance together.
Everything outside of that went pretty smoothly. We had a good experience with the Photo Booth we got in our package and the DJ helped keep the timeline on track and did a good job with announcements.

I also told our DJ several times that we wanted the acoustic version of our first dance song and he ensured that it would be, however it wasn't. We received many compliments on our music and the DJ overall and still had a packed dance floor all night long! our playlist. My husband and I have a very wide range of music interests and I come from an international family, so we are a tough crowd to please. We took a chance on a "DJ in training" and ended up with Trish. IT WAS THE BEST DJ EXPERIENCE. EVER.
Trish is a brilliant DJ. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, including our interests (my husband and I met as geologists), and she saved the eclectic Spotify playlist I put together for my wedding. Then, she worked her magic! Trish mixed all of my music so each song blended seamlessly with the next, and she added a few mixes of her own that fit the vibe. She even mixed The Police's song "Roxanne" so it just said "Rocks!" in honor of our love for geology, which was SO FUN.
In addition to her amazing mixing, Trish helped us facilitate our wedding, including instructing guests where to go and running the reception games (musical chairs/scavenger hunt and the shoe game). At the end of the night, Trish accepted my song requests and we had a WILD time. My guests continue to tell me how impressive her DJing was.
Trish knows how to throw a party. She is responsive and personable, and I will always work with her in the future.
If you choose to work with Turn Up Columbus, I strongly recommend Trish!!

though it says the DJ is "non-experienced" doesn't mean they are not experienced. It basically just means they are newer to the company. The company ensures that all of their DJs go through a probation process to ensure they are all Turn Up quality. We booked a "non-experienced" DJ and he was great. We met with him several times before the wedding to make sure he knew the vibe of the party. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because our DJ refused to play songs with cuss words in them. By all means, we still jammed out to the clean versions but I wish that would've been something he discussed with us prior.

He worked perfectly with FPC's day-of coordinator for the ceremony, and he took extra time to allow our videographer to hook into his sound equipment to generate a more balanced product for her recording of the ceremony. He was charming and happily energetic on the mic when it was time to announce various stages of the evening, and he absolutely NAILED our taste in dance music for the remainder of the night. We credit his performance to the amount of effort put in before the event, where we were asked to meet in-person twice and provide as many specific examples of our musical taste as possible to help him understand our needs. All in all, I cannot imagine there is another DJ for such an affordable cost who will put as much effort in as they will.

He did an amazing job with my song requests for the ceremony (and I had a tricky one) I wanted him to play some Christmas music (December wedding, Christmas lover) and it couldn’t have been better. Turn Up Columbus was able to accommodate us last minute when our previous DJ plans fell through - And let me tell you I was so glad they did!
Our DJ was Jake B. and he did a great...
job in keeping us up to date and allowing us to contribute to plans to make the day what we truly wanted. On the day of, he read the environment of our party well and made sure everyone was having a good time.
Bonus: My husband's grandma fell at one point and he rushed over to check on her and provide assistance with his EMT background! Everyone commented on how sweet it was and that he went above and beyond.
Turn Up Columbus will give you the same (if not better!) services than many of their competitors for a lower cost. Would definitely recommend!
