Turnberry Country Club

y I dismissed it as a temporary maintenance issue. However, when we opened the big double doors, I couldn't help but notice how dirty/foggy the glass was. Then I noticed dust on the grand piano in the room off the entry along with water stains on the furniture and a dirty napkin. It was obvious that cleaning and maintenance are not a priority for this club. By contrast the banquet room was gorgeous! Lots of natural light and one of the prettiest rooms we saw that day. The club offers exclusivity of the facilities with over 150 guests. Suji met us and gave us a tour. The groom's room was a nice touch and the atrium, although you could see bubbling paint, was very pretty. We didn't view the bride's room because there were girls using it. However, I did notice how dirty and beat up all the trim and doors were. Seriously, some Pinesol and a can of paint would go a long way in this place. While I was walking around I started Googling this place and learned that it was nearly in foreclosure just a few years back. They clearly have not recovered and I would not feel comfortable handing over a non-refundable deposit. I also had concerns that if the place looks this bad now, how will it look in a year to two? Suji went ahead and started providing my daughter with an estimated quote and holy cow do they nickel and dime you to death! Their $40 chicken plated meal was up to nearly $100 once you add in the bar package, linens, cake cutting fees, etc. We took a hard pass on this venue.

The food was amazing, the location was wonderful, and everyone we worked with at Turnberry was more than helpful! We appreciate all you did to make our day go off perfect, and I couldn't have imagined a better venue to work with. Thank you Alex, and all the staff at Turnberry, we truly loved working with you all and highly recommend everyone give Turnberry a look if you're looking for a classy country club to have your wedding and reception at, because ours was absolutely perfect!

th my father and were glad that we got to taste all of our choices in a private dinning setting. Everything we picked out was wonderful and people are still saying the food was great. We were married on the ground overlooking the beautiful golf course as the backdrop. As we walked up we were married right at the top of the hill. I would do that every time again. Guests who golfed said they were dreaming of the golf course! We went right away to cocktail hour and pictures. We were so busy I didn't get one appetizer but everyone said they were great. It flowed perfect from one to the next. Our reception was beautiful. The neutral soft gray walls at the club were calm and reflected the soft lighting our DJ had and the wait staff were on point. I told one of the girls I had a headache and she ran and got me Advil, my 2 year old flower girls chicken strips and fries were presented in a way that they looked as fancy as our filets. One guest who was disabled said everytime he got up someone pulled out then pushed back in his chair. The level of service was amazing. Our food choices where filets, stuffed chicken and a mushroom ravioli. My bridesmaid and I each got separate meals and switched halfway so we got to taste everything. The food was amazing! The guests still comment to my parents how much they liked it. Choices are hard. You pick a venue hoping everything is perfect and it was. It was 94 degrees outside and everyone was comfortable. The entire club is even closed to members during your wedding so you have everything all to yourself. I put my dress on in the very nice locker room and that was a great idea since my dress did wrinkle. Turnberry made my beautiful vision come true. Alex was a dream to work with and we couldn't be happier with our venue.
