Rebecca was amazing. Very easy to work with and made changing our wedding date due to COVID We had a very long list of pictures that we wanted to get through with two big families and a large wedding party and Rebecca made sure we got to all of them and she did it with ease. This was the second wedding in our family that we hired Turnquist Collective for and we will most definitely be keeping them in mind for future events!

Jessie and Rebecca are the ABSOLUTE BEST photographers to capture all those special moments at your wedding or special event. They are so talented as a team or individually. They shot our daughter’s wedding, twice, due to COVID!! The first time was in our backyard in a very intimate ceremony and the second was in the Catskills. They captured the perfect moments without being intrusive but also were very accommodating making sure to shoot all the groups and people we had requested. They had creative ideas that made our photos extra special. The final products were just spectacular. Both the photos and the video are great, and we love sharing them with everyone.

We are so happy Turnquist Photography was recommended by our day of wedding planner. Our original wedding date was scheduled for May of 2020, which, due to the pandemic, turned into a small civil ceremony on June 5th, 2020. We finally had our wedding reception on June 5th, 2021.Throughout all of this, Rebecca was kind, caring, and attentive. And, in the midst of the pandemic, she came to take photos of our outdoor civil ceremony. Her professional and creative abilities are amazing in that she always had a vision, and captured special moments that might otherwise be forgotten. We so appreciate all she did to make us feel comfortable. We’re excited to see the final gallery for the wedding reception, as the sneak peeks are amazing. Rebecca and Jesse did an amazing job for us and we would highly recommend them to anyone! They were highly recommended to us by several people and they exceeded even our highest expectations. Besides being very professional, they’re also extremely nice which is important because you spend so much of your wedding day with them. The photographs did not just capture the raw emotion (which they definitely did), but also everything the way I saw it, the ambience, the feeling, the everything. Rebecca and Jesse are a dream team. They immediately put us at ease the morning of our wedding. Rebecca is extremely detail oriented with all of her info gathered prior to the wedding. She also scouts the location and has a complete plan and vision for your wedding. We've only received a few shots (being our wedding was last week)... and every one has brought a tear to our eyes. Personally, Rebecca and Jesse are fun, professional, on point, creative, and sensitive to all of your "day of needs". At first we were not planning on having a video - but after speaking to Rebecca and thinking about it, we agreed. And having Jesse there capturing the moments we couldn't see made it all the more special. We would have really regretted not doing that, Jesse did an amazing job mixing moments, video, and audio.

Rebecca could not have been more pleasant to work with! She made us so comfortable and came up with some beautiful shots that we will always treasure. I super highly recommend her and her team for any of your photo taking needs.

​Jesse and Rebecca were beyond amazing. Their contribution to our incredible day (both wedding photos and engagement photos) went way beyond the absolutely beautiful photos they took. Rebecca was so thoughtful and responsive during the entire process, even helping us with design and dress choices for the wedding. During our engagement shoot, which had begun as a very stressful day for a million reasons, Jesse seamlessly turned what could have been a really difficult day into something truly magical. Both she and Jesse felt more like welcome guests than photographers. Their easy manner, effortless professionalism, and depth of experience made the stressful time crunch of staged photos a breeze and their infectious joy banished all wedding jitters. I truthfully could not speak more highly of them both and it was truly one of the best decisions we made.

We hired Turnquist Photography for our wedding last year at the Rhinecliff Hotel and had a wonderful experience. We had a lovely engagement session prior to the wedding at Olana with Rebecca. This was particularly helpful for someone who is awkward in front of a camera (like me) get use to the process. During the day of the wedding, Rebecca and team were very flexible and accommodating to our schedule all the while capturing the small details of the day. We received the photographs and wedding video within a timely manner after the wedding. All of the photos and the video were beautiful (I particularly love the candid ones) and felt like they could be found in a wedding blog.

Jesse and his staff were chosen by my daughter and son in law for their wedding this past weekend and what a great decision they made!! After seeing the wonderful engagement pictures that Jesse took of them during a rainstorm, I knew they made the best decision! Jesse and Micah the videographer were present and had wonderful vision for the day but we’re so unobtrusive that I never even noticed them while enjoying the wedding. I can’t wait to see the photos!! Turnquist photography and videography all the way! I can't even imagine using a different photography team after working with Rebecca and Jesse for our engagement and wedding photos. They are two truly wonderful people who make a great team. My husband and I were initially shy in front of the camera, but during our engagement session Rebecca made us feel so comfortable and captured sweet shots. When it came to our wedding day we knew what to expect and felt right at home with Rebecca. She helped to organize group shots and captured all the important details of our day. Honestly- I could not imagine my wedding day without Jesse and Scott. They made my husband, Kevin and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They both brought so much great energy and really allowed us to be ourselves. I discovered Rebecca 2.5 years ago, searching for a photographer for a baby bump session and we’ve never looked back! When we got engaged, there was no discussion - we knew Rebecca would be our photographer and had to pick a date that she was available. As awkward as my now husband and I can be-she somehow always makes us look good (thank you). On our wedding day, she made the day seem seamless, even when my 2.5 year old son decided to throw a tantrum the minute I was supposed to be outside for the first look. She is always professional, timely, and has a special way of putting you at ease and making you feel like you’ve been friends forever. But really, her work speaks for itself. She has an amazing eye and is worth every single penny. I look forward to having her photograph more of our journey.

The most genuine, caring, dedicated and talented photographer/cinematographer team around—and they happen to work well together! 😊 Rebecca and Jesse traveled over an hour to photograph our wedding and were delighted to do so; they even made the trip prior to the wedding to scope out the venue and get a lay of the land, so to speak, so that they could plan the best places for photo opportunities! Rebecca and Jesse were so fun, creative, passionate and professional. We did an engagement shoot with Rebecca and she always got us to smile, which is not easy for me and my camera-shy husband! I can't give enough positive feedback about Jesse! We used Jesse/Turnquist Photography for videography for our wedding in Sept 2015. From the very first email interaction, to the day of our wedding, Jesse was so kind, friendly and patiently answered all of my 100 questions :) We were all on the same page and my now husband and I trusted him with creative freedom. He was timely, professional and very personable. We absolutely could not be happier with the moments he captured, his artistic editing and his ability to summarize and highlight the amazing parts of our wedding day. We are so grateful for the work Jesse put in to our video that we now get to cherish forever. I first learned about Turnquist Photography after attending a close family friend’s wedding, and absolutely loved the photos. Matt (my husband) and I were able to speak with Jesse over FaceTime, since we live in Albany, and we instantly felt at ease with him. For the initial process Jesse was incredibly easy to contract with. He made sure that he understood the full scope of what we were looking for in a photography package and worked with us on a payment structure that met our needs. When we met for our “warm up” shoot, he went above and beyond to take us to our chosen location (Lake George, NY) and it soon felt like we were old friends. Not only did Jesse take the most beautiful photos, but he made us laugh and gained insight into our dynamic as a couple, which he captured on camera. We wanted two photographers for our wedding, and unfortunately Rebecca Turnquist was unavailable for our date, so Jesse asked a friend of his who is an established photographer with his own business, Jon Lemon, to come and assist him. I’m Indian and Matt is Italian and Jewish, so we incorporated a lot of different traditions in our wedding. Jesse and Jon went to great lengths to make sure they got the best possible photographs, working with all the elements and even climbing on top of massive rocks to get shots of the groomsmen and bridal party. The photo booth was fantastic and user friendly, and all of the standard photographs (introductions, first dance, cake cutting, family portraits) were impeccable. Not to mention the amount of candid shots of everyone chatting, laughing, and busting moves on the dance floor. Both families commented after the wedding how much they loved our photographers—and how Jesse was able to corral everyone in our big families and assemble them for the larger portraits. Looking at the photos really makes you feel like you are reliving each moment of the wedding, and Jesse is really terrific at editing and posting the photos in a timely way, and making sure that you and your family have no problem accessing them. Jesse is extremely professional, has the patience of a saint, and has incredible amounts of energy. He is good-humored and sentimental, and truly gets what these moments mean to the couples and families he works with. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Turnquist Photography and we highly recommend them for your big life events. We cannot think of enough wonderful praise to bestow upon these folks, and the photos speak for themselves. AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!

Where do we begin? Jessie and Rebecca Turnquist are truly in a league of their own. We were referred to them by close friends and were not disappointed. From the first Skype meeting, to the last picture we took with them at our wedding, they made us feel so comfortable and the experience working with them was amazing. They are so responsive and made the planning process very easy. We were nervous to be photographed at first as many couples are, but their calm nature put us at ease and we felt very natural during our engagement shoot. The day of the wedding they were perfect, directing us when necessary and capturing beautiful candid shots which told the story of the entire day. The photos are stunning and we could not ask for better snapshots of our day. We are awaiting our video and are confident it will not disappoint. We had a great experience with Jesse and Rebecca, right from the beginning. They are the perfect combination of talented, professional and friendly. Neither one of us were very comfortable having our pictures taken, and they really put us at ease and got really great shots. They perfectly captured the wedding, and we highly recommend them. A photographer is by your side all day, and we were so glad we chose them for this important role.

Anyone who is having any sort of special event in their life should absolutely use Turnquist Photography to capture that time in photos. We used them for our Engagement and Wedding photos. From our first meeting with them in their home, we knew that they were the perfect people to help us during this very special time in our lives. I wound up hiring Becca and Jesse after they did my sister's wedding about a year prior to mine. They were absolutely amazing. Great to work with, really sweet in general. They were willing to kind of do things our way (we wanted pictures done at certain times for various reasons) and really flexible and willing to work with us. They came down a few weeks before the wedding to scope out the venue as they hadn't been there before. Plus they are both really great and wonderful people. That and the most important part, our photos came out GREAT! Absolutely gorgeous shots and everything I could ask for. Really can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommended by me!

They are a husband and wife team (with helpers if needed) that really work to capture every moment of your wedding so you don't miss a thing. They're incredibly kind, professional, and thorough as well as extremely talented. The pictures were stunning and every moment (even ones I'd forgotten!) was memorialized. I highly recommend them.

I could not ask for better photographers. They were simply amazing. And the pictures turned out better than I could have imagined! To top it off, they are super affordable. They took the time to sit down and listen to all my requests. They even did a run-through shoot! They are so nice, so easy going and everyone at my wedding commented about how hard they worked.
