We got married in December 2022 at the Royalton Negril, and our wedding was truly magnificent, spanning four days filled with incredible experiences. We went all out, even having a horse bring me to the reception on the beach. It was a dream wedding, but unfortunately, none of it was captured properly, and we still haven't received a polished wedding video from Jason.
We were very clear with Jason that we didn't want a typical wedding video; we envisioned a cinematic experience that captured the essence of our four-day celebration. We even told him to take the extra time needed to create this movie-like video. However, six months passed without any video, so we reached out. After a couple more months, we finally received a sub-par video.
When we met with Jason, he acknowledged that the editor he had hired did a poor job and had fallen ill. He promised to hire a new editor to redo the video. But after another six months of constant back and forth about necessary changes, Jason and the new editor unprofessionally cursed us out and blocked us.
This entire experience has been heartbreaking because we trusted Jason with capturing our precious wedding moments, and he failed us. He even blamed the first editor’s death for the poor quality of the video. Instead of taking responsibility, Jason gave us countless excuses, blaming the editors instead of owning up to his lack of work ethic.
He hired someone who wasn't at the wedding to go through four days of bad footage, which, according to the editor, was impossible to turn into a good video. Jason never apologized for the poor quality or the delays. Now, two years later, we still don't have a cohesive video. The timing, words, and sound are all off, the soundtrack selection is horrible despite us providing one, and the editing is just terrible.
This experience has been a nightmare, and precious moments from our wedding are lost forever. Jason even forgot to film our "first look." We tried to be patient and work with him for over a year, but his inability to deliver left us with nothing but raw footage. This has been the worst wedding video experience ever.
Got married Dec 2022 at the Royalton Negril. We planned the most magnificent wedding. 4 days of experiences. All of the bells and whistles! We even had a horse bring my wife in for the reception on the beach. It was definitely over the top! The only bad part is that none of it was captured properly and we still have not gotten a polished wedding video from Jason. My wife and I were very specific about not wanting a typical wedding video, but more of a cinematic experience. We told him to take the extra time needed to make the 4 days worth of events a movie. 6 months later we still had no video so I began reaching out and a couple months later we finally got a sub-par video. We met and he agreed that the editor who he hired did a poor job and had gotten sick so he would hire another editor to do another version. 6 months more of back and forth constantly about changes the video should have then Jason and the new editor abruptly and unprofessionally cursed me out and blocked me. My entire wedding experience has been lost because I trusted it with this fraud. He even told me that the first editor died and that’s why the video looked so bad. He had every excuse under the sun! Problem is he is the photographer and owner of the business and the person I hired and instead of him owning the fact that his work ethic was lacking he tried giving me every excuse there is including blaming the editors. He even got a guy who wasn’t at the wedding to sift through 4 days of bad footage to try to make a video which was impossible to do based on the editors own words! Never did he apologize for the lack of video quality or time frame in delay. It is now 2 years later and still we don’t have a cohesive video. Literally bad timing, words and sound is off, horrible sound track selection (even though we gave him a sound track), bad editing all around. I could go on and on and into detail all of the horrible things Jason said and did to my wife and I as it pertains to this wedding video but this text box doesn’t allow me the characters to do so. We tried to be patient and work with this guy for over a year and finally because of his inability to perform things went south and we were left with absolutely nothing but raw footage. Worst wedding video experience ever and moments that were precious are lost forever! He even forgot to film our “first look”. Horrible!
