Twelve 31 Events

Our one criticism with Twelve 31 Events is that they were a bit difficult to work with leading up to the event. They didn't budge on any part of their timeline for wedding day, claiming it would mess with the integrity of their food. Wedding days never go according to timeline, and with them being so adamant that nothing could go off course (or else...) made things stressful leading up to the event. It's not necessarily about the action of not having wiggle room, but more about how it was communicated and Michael telling us that we/our other vendors were wrong on certain things we had already planned out. Our wedding day went off without a hitch with food distribution as far as we could tell, everyone loved the food, the caterer's were pleasant, so all was good in the end. Other than the frustration with the pre-planning of the event, we have nothing but great things to say about Michael and Melissa and the food they curated for our wedding! Thank you!

as really awesome. Michael was extremely communicative and super flexible with our last minute menu changes. We went with the Tray favorites and it was a hit with our guests. Our menu was: braised beef, chicken/broccoli/ziti, vegetable raviolis, roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables. We ordered 1-1/2 trays of each and it easily fed 32 people with plenty of leftovers. We also ordered the nut & berry salad and added bread rolls. Everything was great! We really appreciated Michael and his catering team going the extra mile for us. I had several conversations with Melissa about menu ideas, and felt that she was both inspiring and willing to work collaboratively. The tasting helped to fine tune our selections, and we were so very pleased with the results. Much gratitude and highest recommendation for Melissa and Michael at Twelve 31. Twelve 31 was super responsive and helpful throughout the wedding planning process. They truly did an amazing job!

To put it plain and simple, Melissa is an absolute saint. From the first moment we spoke with her on the phone, she immediately made us feel calm and confident that we could plan the perfect wedding that fit our personalities (and our busy schedules). We gave her just basic ideas of what we thought we'd like, and she really did the rest (vendor sourcing, creative decor ideas, staying true to our initial ideas without going over budget, etc.) After our first discussion together, we came to find out that she also owns her own catering company. We gave her some basic food ideas, and she invited us to a personalized food tasting. We were nothing short of BLOWN AWAY by how delicious her food was (she's been catering for 20 years!). When selecting 5 stars on this rating system, the words "The Best Ever!" pop up next to it. We could not agree more with that assessment - seriously. Not only do we feel that we have an amazing planner and caterer, but we've also made a great friend in the process. Do yourself a huge favor and contact Twelve 31 events - we promise you won't be disappointed!
