along the hem, which felt very unprofessional given the price. To their credit, they did fix these issues after I brought the dress back. Another issue I had was with alterations made to the halter neckline. Fabric was removed from around the neck area, but I was not informed that doing so would significantly change the fit and appearance of the top of the dress. After the alteration, the front of the dress had excess fabric under/near the V-neckline and added bulk in the bodice that was not there originally. It changed the overall look and fit of the dress in a way I was unhappy with. I would have appreciated being clearly informed beforehand that removing fabric from the halter neckline could significantly alter the fit and appearance of the bodice. Had I known how it would change the look of the dress, I may have chosen a different alteration approach or a different location. I was also disappointed that after expressing concerns about the altered fit of the bodice and returning to have it corrected, I was charged again for additional alterations. Given that the changes stemmed from the original alteration and the results did not meet my expectations, I did not feel this was handled appropriately. I was also unhappy with how a makeup stain was handled. I was assured that the cleaning mixture being used would not damage the fabric, but it visibly removed the shine from part of the dress. Even while the damage was visible in front of us, Alex assured me that the mixture would not damage the fabric, which felt frustrating and dismissive. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy working with Alex during the alterations process. I felt like my concerns and expectations were not being fully understood when I returned for corrections. Thankfully, the owner, Arrie, stepped in and was much kinder, more patient, and worked to make sure I would be happy with the final result. I really appreciated her effort and professionalism. Unfortunately, because of the overall experience and the cost of the alterations, I would not recommend Twelve Tailoring.
