We did not have a good experience. We wanted to have my sisters bridal shower at this venue to make it extra special. This owner knew I was from out of town and wasn’t able to see the place. We paid the deposit and the following week we saw the place. Yes that was wrong on my end. But what place is not handicap accessible? She needs to tell every single person that her venue is on the second level and you have to climb stairs to get there. How are old people suppose to get up there? Not to mention the place is unmarked. Not one sign. We got lost trying to find it. Plus parking is across the street and you have to jaywalk a four lane road. I called the place to ask for our deposit back because the grooms’s grandma is in a wheelchair. Again how were we suppose to know your on the second floor of a building and have no elevator. Conversation did not go well. I explained to her how it was unfair and then when I told her I was going to write a review about this she flipped so of course I hung up the phone on her because who wants to get yelled at? Then the owner texts me saying, “ I'm sure this is more about us being black than anything else and you should be ashamed of yourself”. Disappointing. All I have to say to that comment is we live in a broken world.
