Twin Brook Retreat

Sadie Mae were incredible from start to finish. On our wedding day, we discovered that the DJ didn’t have enough space to set up all of his sound equipment, so Candace allowed us to use Twin Brook’s sound system free of charge! This was only one of the many things that they did to make our day beautiful. While they were fairly hands-off with the planning process, Candace and Sadie Mae were always available when I had questions and they were quick to respond with details. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. It was landscaped perfectly and the interior was rustic, charming and clean. We had approximately 105 guests, and I would not recommend any more than that if you plan on having a dance floor; it was tight, but we managed to have a small dance floor! There weren’t many options for an indoor ceremony except for having the ceremony in the reception room and switching the room over or having guests sit at their dinner tables for the ceremony. We were blessed with a warm day and the ability to be outside, however I would recommend keeping ceremony location in mind if you’re planning a wedding in the colder/rainier months. The wedding party stayed at Candace and Merv’s Airbnb across the street, and my husband’s parents stayed in the stone house on their property. Both accommodations were beautiful and met all of our needs. If you’re coming from out of town, I highly recommend inquiring about them! Overall, Twin Brook was a dream come true. Communication and professionalism were great, and we felt that Candace, Merv and Sadie Mae went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. I would highly recommend to any bride and groom!

the first wedding after they did their extensive renovation). Candace & Merv were INCREDIBLE the entire time. From our very first meeting with Candace she was friendly, hospitable, creative, and accommodating. Candace would communicate with us frequently by email, text message, and phone calls and truly wanted to help us in any way she could. The day before the wedding, we were able to arrive onsite and setup the way we wanted. Candace stopped in and helped us know where things were and ensured we were comfortable, but still gave us the freedom to "make ourselves at home." She and Merv talked with us to ensure the space was beautiful and comfortable inside & out. We can't say enough great things about the private spaces for the wedding party! The private Bridal Suite on the first floor has it's own kitchenette, makeup/getting ready room with plenty of mirrors and a private bathroom with full shower. The Grooms Suite upstairs was a great place for the guys to get ready and hang out. There was even an extra "bonus loft space" with a private room that we used for my extended family with young children. Every single person in our party said the private space was fantastic and luxurious. As we were preparing for the wedding rehearsal, we ran into an issue with the sound system and Candace was a phone call away. She was quick to respond and offered her assistance to us IMMEDIATELY. Our catering team said it was easy to locate needed items in the "kitchen", felt very comfortable setting up and serving food, and getting things cleaned up without too much added hassle. We look back on all of our photos and are just in awe at how beautiful the whole place was! We can't say enough nice things about Candace, Merv and Twin Brook Retreat! I am confident, if I had any concerns throughout the preparation or day of I could call Candace and she would be there, ready to support and love on us as she does best! Candace- Thank You so much for making our wedding at Twin Brook as special as it was. YOU made our day PERFECT. Thank You somehow doesn't feel like enough, but THANK YOU!

we were setting up and was so helpful. She even stopped by Sunday as we were cleaning up and offered a small gift as a token of appreciation for us using Twin Brook for our wedding. All of our vendors and guests commented on how beautiful the venue is. It was so convenient to be able to set up, sleep at the venue and then get ready there in the morning. The whole space is so clean, and the grounds are beautiful. There is very little we had to do to make the space look amazing as it is so naturally beautiful. Thouthout the whole planning process Candace was great, always offering quick responses. The venue itself is so beautiful and customizable to whatever style you may like. I truly can't say enough good things. If you're thinking about booking Twin Brook don't even hesitate. It is a guarantee for a beautiful wedding!

, going above an beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. I stayed with my bridesmaids in the Stone House the night before my wedding, and we loved it! It was so gorgeous, clean, and had the most comfortable beds! The next day, we had our ceremony outside by the brook, under the trees. It was magical. Our reception was a short walk away in the red barn building, decorated so beautifully with place settings, tablecloths, and lovely centerpieces we were able to rent from Twin Brook Retreat. It was so easy to not have to buy all that and bring it myself! There was also a very convenient kitchen area for the vendors easily set up for our dinner! Candace and her husband maintain the grounds so well, that everywhere on that property was picture perfect, it made it very easy for us to get beautiful wedding photos! My family constantly raves about how we made the perfect choice in booking Twin Brook Retreat. It was a wonderful experience, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
