I first reached out and we scheduled a zoom consultation to see what we wanted for our services. Then he sent over pricing and information, and we paid the deposit. A few months later we got a link to add more information about our wedding, and then links to our Spotify playlists for prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Then about 3 weeks out he scheduled a final meeting to go over the details. We realized that our first dance song needed to be edited, so he did it quickly 3 days before the wedding! We really appreciated that. Fast forward to the day of, he was great! My guests loved his energy. I would definitely recommend him to everyone getting married or having a corporate event!

The only downsides are a) his website was a little confusing to use and b) we were instructed to make a 3 hour playlist for the dance part of our reception and he played songs that weren’t on our list. But overall, we would highly recommend Young!

He highlights the important factors of what to look into when hiring a DJ for an event, and to be honest his email responses are super quick and informative too. With all the information we received, as well as Young's years of experience put us at ease and we were comfortable with hiring him. Young also takes the time to actually meet with you to go over your timeline, as well as any questions and concerns you may have before the event. Both my husband and I had our concerns about both our families being into completely different types of music genres. nd it was the best decision. Young is extremely knowledgeable in how to throw an amazing party, and he knew exactly how to cater to our wedding. Before the wedding, we had 2 online meetings where we discussed details like overall vibe, songs before and after the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music, and dance party. He talked us through every bit and had guidance on every minute of our wedding day and how to go about it, and we never felt lost in the process. The process was super easy, and it was a no brainer to go with Young! We got to make our own playlists for the different parts of the day, and the dance playlist was just a suggestion list for Young to get our overall vibe. But the conversation was much more meaningful as he understood EXACTLY what we wanted and made us feel at ease that we were going to have a great party. He also helped us secure a Photo Booth and some dance floor lighting that we honestly couldn’t have gone without on our special day! The lighting made things just that much more epic, and the photobooth was so much fun! On the day of the wedding, Young was such a master on the mic and made things run and flow so smoothly. His personality and charm just made things so fun and at ease and never overbearing or too much. He played the right music at the right time, he hyped the crowd, he listened to requests, he did it all! We had a surprise moment during dinner when Backstreet Boys “I Want it That Way” came on and our guests just started randomly singing along. It was amazing to hear that Young dropped what he was doing (eating dinner I think), came back to the turntables to hype us up even more and finish out the random and just amazing singalong that broke out and is now in our top 10 moments of our day. He also had this cool service where guests were able to text photos to a number and the photos were displayed on the ballroom walls during the reception! He was also able to do fog on the dance floor during our first dance and it was absolutely beautiful - looked like we were dancing in the clouds. During the open dancing portion, the guests were energized and happy as everyone kept dancing until the reception ended. We highly recommend DJ Twin Spin for your wedding - you won't regret it!

Young made everything so easy for us and covered every detail (many things that I didn’t even think of) down to phonetically spelling our family/wedding party names, grouping music for the ceremony vs cocktail hour vs reception. Most of our music was American, your classic wedding songs, top 40, bay music, and we wanted to incorporate a handful of Persian music (I was nervous about this) but Young did an amazing job with incorporating the Persian music and really played to the crowd. He also gave us tips/advise on timeline, suggestions on lighting, color etc. we loaded all our music on various Spotify libraries, did a final meeting about a week prior to the meeting and it all went well and the crowd loved Young and Josh. Definitely will recommend DJ Twin Spin to anyone looking for a DJ/entertainment service!!

DJ Twin Spin was one of our only venders who was extremely prompt with his responses, easy to get ahold of, and super helpful with all of our questions. Not to mention the amount of energy and interaction he engaged with our guests as our Emcee, truly remarkable. He was incredibly enthusiastic from the beginning to the the end. Twin Spin Entertainment also provided us with a custom monogram, photo booth, and photo wall. There were so many great options to choose from the monograms that you can't go wrong with any of them. The photo booth was the second highlight of the wedding reception (first highlight was obviously the bride and groom). My guests are still raving and ranting about how much they loved the photo booth and were able to take a little souvenir from the evening. You can take unlimited pictures and use props to your hearts' content. I would also highly recommend the photo wall. You and your guests get to text any picture to the DJ to be displayed on the photo wall. Our guests posted pictures that included the wedding day but a good amount of past memorable moments were also posted. You can also text your song requests to the DJ. Talk about comprehensive services! Twin Spin Entertainment was affordable, professional, talented, and fun! They are a one-stop QUALITY provider for all of your DJ needs. We are definitely reaching out to them for future events.

Young was super flexible and understanding throughout planning. We loved that Young has his own client portal to organize various playlists and have all the details down to the very minute for timeline. We also added on his new feature of a live digital photo wall where guests can text in photos, which will then play during the reception-- our guests loved it! We also appreciated getting the texted photos after the wedding since it avoids us having to reach out to everyone separately. er shortlist of DJs for her own wedding a couple years ago. We asked around for recs since many vendors got booked early. Fall 2021 seemed pretty busy for wedding vendors. During our initial phone consultation, Young was very friendly and we got really good vibes from him. He also offered a lot of advice to make our reception run smoothly even though we didn't even book him yet, such as double-checking if our photographer had a second shooter to ensure that all aspects of our event were captured and giving some timeline suggestions for us. Young even sent over an invitation to watch him do some livestream DJing on his Twitch channel so we can get a sense of how he works. I thought this went above and beyond from vendors typically saying "look at my reviews" when you ask for references from past clients. Young didn't pressure us to book with him and let us have a soft hold on our date, and said he'd let us know if he got another inquiry for our date. Even though Young hasn't worked at our venue before, my husband and I felt good booking him. Later we found out that he's worked with our event coordinator before (we hired the coordinator after booking Young) so we were happy knowing that he's worked with at least one of our vendors before. He also offered a package deal with a photo booth vendor so we also booked that through him. Leading up to the event, Young connected us with the photo booth vendor to set up our custom background, layout, and captions. He also reviewed the timeline and floor plan we created with our coordinator. He double-checked our song lists to make sure he had the correct songs for the various events on our timeline. He even customized our first dance song to a shorter version so we wouldn't have to be up dancing for too long. On the day of our event, things seemed to be set up seamlessly and I didn't hear of any issues from our venue (Los Altos History Museum) or coordinator. We only had to chat briefly at the beginning of our event with Young and our coordinator to figure out the final dance floor location (we thought we'd keep things outside for COVID safety but the outdoor decibel limit set by the City of Los Altos was pretty low for dancing, so we decided we were comfortable with having dancing indoors since all of our eligible guests were fully vaccinated. There weren't any major logistical challenges to overcome aside from where to put the speaker system). There was also a minor mix-up at the beginning with the order he introduced folks for speeches/toasts but that was corrected quickly with a funny joke so our guests couldn't really tell that something was off. He followed our timeline/notes pretty closely for the remainder of our event. Many of our guests said they loved Young's energy! He kept the crowds laughing and guided them to where they needed to be while sticking to our timeline (getting people to start sitting down at the beginning of dinner, getting people to gather for the cake cutting and watching our first dance, and moving people inside to the dance floor). Our guests also loved the photo booth and how there were unlimited prints and fun props to use. We already have some friends asking for DJ/MC/photo booth recommendations for their future weddings so we gave them our seal of approval for DJ Twin Spin!

a no-show. When trying to think of alternatives, our photographer recommended Young, who happened to be free the evening of our wedding and showed up within an hour or so of us contacting him. Without any preparation and simply using a form we used for my previous DJ, he was the perfect emcee and DJ. We had so many details set out for our original DJ, and Young did a great job in keeping with our music preferences and having all of the music we wanted for our specialty dances. It is clear he has a lot of experience with weddings, and we feel so fortunate that he was free the evening of our wedding. For anyone having their wedding in the San Francisco Bay Area, you cannot go wrong with Young!

We set up a few playlist (from processional to reception dinner) via Spotify and he played them all at the perfect timing. We also set up another playlist of song requests we would like to hear on the dance floor. I just gotta say that there was always a crowd on the dance floor throughout the night! He played all types of music genre from old school hip-hop (my request) to K-Pop (wife's request). Young definitely knows his crowd and honestly I just remember seeing everyone smiling and dancing the night away. I'm so glad Young was our DJ/MC for our wedding. I'm pretty sure he played all our requests even though that night was such a blur because we were having that much fun dancing! Thank you Young for an incredible and memorable night! All of the requirements are made clear on the website. He also reviewed the entire schedule and details of the wedding the week prior. He was also available the entire time prior to the wedding to answer all of my questions. It was so reassuring to get such a thorough and quick response. Day of: He came to the wedding venue a couple of hours to setup for the wedding. He also wore our wedding colors, which was so thoughtful! Ceremony: He set up the officiant and groom with mics for the ceremony (I was not mic'd up for the ceremony). I had a few concerns because I previously had a hard time hearing other brides at their weddings with this setup, but this definitely was not a problem with DJ Young! All 210 guests had no problem hearing the vows and were so impressed with the setup! Reception/Cocktail hour: DJ/MC Young did such an amazing job with informing the crowd of the next event during the entire night. He was very good at keeping with the schedule and was very accommodating when we wanted to switch a couple of things around. He was extremely engaging with the guests and very professional! Dancing: There was not a single moment were the dance floor was empty! The entire crowd danced the entire night! How the songs played, and how they mixed together was absolutely flawless! We never felt like there was an awkward bpm change, or weird songs that got thrown into the mix. We played Hip Hop at the wedding, and he somehow incorporated Elvis (per father of groom request) and made it work! DJ Young knows exactly what he's doing and how to keep the crowd hyped! There was no guessing or weird tactics to get people on the dance floor! Summary: I was so impressed with DJ Young during the entire process! He was so responsive and professional! He was so easy to work with and was part of the reason why our wedding went so smoothly!
