Twine Floral Co. is a boutique design studio nestled in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, California. Andi Perry, Owner + Creative Director, is not your average floral designer. Most of her twenties were spent as a designer in the textile studios of San Francisco. Any spare time she had, you'd find her perusing flower markets, picking up exotic blooms, studying their latin translations, and signing up for endless botanical workshops.
Twine Floral Co. was born in the spring of 2013 after several years spent collaborating with Bay area floral businesses. Three years later, I found myself in what is now our Tahoe mountain home, ready to provide a bespoke experience for both locals & visitors to the lake alike.

I carry my fashion background with me as I refine each design process: color palette curation and coordination of a cohesive look and feel are directly influenced by time spent in that world, and the two so seamlessly overlap that despite skipping the classical floristry training, I’m confidently able to bring a refined eye when it comes to playful details and inspiration sources."

ter initially signing an agreement months prior citing supply chain challenges, which put us over a barrel, and created a undesired challenge close to our wedding, eroding trust from the get go.
After paying $10k+ for their services they billed us an additional $96 for a broken bud vase after the wedding, which while not a lot of money, is not a great experience and in my opinion is quite unprofessional and short sighted on their behalf.
Seems like they chase the dollars, not the experience for their customers.
ps. Who charges a 'South Lake Tahoe Tax' on the cost of replacing a broken bud vase?

After a phone consultation where Andi took detailed notes about my desired vibe, she NAILED IT. My bouquet was stunning and everything I could've dreamed of. In fact, all our friends on IG couldn't get over how insanely gorgeous my bouquet was either: almost every comment referenced those stunning flowers. Andi's team even went above and beyond day-of, helping me secure a piece of my mom's wedding veil around my bouquet.
It was Twine Floral Co. that really made me feel like a "bride" after so many other COVID calamities. I cannot recommend Andi & team highly enough: their florals are SO meticulously curated and unlike anything else I've seen out there. Elevated & jaw-dropping. It also goes without saying that this team is an absolute pleasure to work with.

I had to make adjustments to the order throughout the year and the team was so responsive and made it easy. I wish I could have met the team setting up for the wedding the day of, but as the bride it was such a crazy day. I had multiple family members come up to me and tell me how excellent the team setting up where and they went out of their way to make everything beautiful. We originally had planned to have the wedding outside with some florals outside, but day of the weather turned and we had to pivot. They gave me a call in the morning and created the. most beautifully decorated arch on short notice. like to rent them from Twine Floral. Due to the Caldor Fire affecting our venue, we had to change venues within a month. During this, they were not accommodating and added a travel fee while we were evacuated from our home. While they say they are local, they did not support local residents during this time. They also state that they contact you two weeks prior to event to review and make any adjustments - they never reached out to me for this. When the day of the event arrived, I noticed that they charged me $95 for a small bouquet for the cake table, no arrangements for the guestbook table, and did not clean even though I paid for it. After the wedding, two bowls were missing and was charged $60, even though they owed me $260 for the cleaning fee. After a month of finding missing items, back and fourth emails, and returning them, I finally was refunded $200. Would not recommend this florist.
