ace, so we ended up signing up for a wedding package that included both private and group lessons. The combo of both group and private was extremely helpful. I really liked the way that the group classes were structured. Each week there was a beginner West Coast Swing class immediately followed by an intermediate class. The intermediate class built off and elaborated upon the basics that were taught in the beginner class, so it was appropriate for both novice and more advanced dancers. This was a great way to learn lots of interesting combinations of moves. Similarly, our instructor for our private lessons was amazing. She really helped us to take what we learned in the group classes and hone our dance skills, with a specific emphasis on what would look the best for our First Dance song at our wedding. In general, for both the private and group lessons, I feel that the instructors at Twirl the Girl did a great job of going beyond just teaching dance moves and really put an emphasis on form and technique, which in my opinion gave us so much more bang for our buck. At our wedding, our guests were thoroughly in awe. They could not believe that we had only been taking lessons for just a few months. The best part was that because Twirl the Girl didn't just teach us *a* dance, but they taught us *how* to dance, my new wife and I were impressing guests with our West Coast Swing skills all through the night, and not just during the First Dance. My wife and I can't say enough good things about Twirl the Girl. If you're a couple whose planning a wedding and are a little unsure about your First Dance, take the anxiety out of the equation... go with Twirl the Girl and be confident that you will put on a show that all of your guests will love and remember.

Two Step for our Parent's of the Groom dance. Now I know a bit how to dance but it just isn't my thing. With the threat of divorce my wife introduces me to my new instructor (who I'm now allowed to identify) and lo and behold within 6 weeks she had transformed me into a Dancing With The Stars Two-Stepper. I performed flawlessly during my dance but due to a pulmonary and heart condition I had to bail for the door and forgot to escort my wife to her seat. But she was thrilled!!! (and I was still married). Can't say enough good things. Luv Ya TwirlTheGirl. - Go Girl.
