Respectfully I am extremely disappointed. My fiancé was beyond excited to get ready for our wedding/take pictures at Twist of Pine! She was told that her booking was “penciled into...
the book”. Communication in the meantime was minimal, as she could never get a response back. Fast forward to one and a half months before our wedding. My fiancé calls to get our plan together with this venue to take our pictures/get ready for the biggest day of our lives. She makes contact with the owner and is pretty much blown off, being told they never told her “for sure” that we had the booking confirmed. She was also told that they now had a wedding ceremony booked instead of us? Seems to me that a wedding ceremony booking makes them more money so we get pushed out. Now we are stuck scrambling to find something else. So much for supporting locally. Make sure if you’re going to book you get it written in a contract first. EXTREMELY disappointed and at a loss for words. Terrible customer service.

n August 2023 and I felt like Lisa had a pretty good understanding of my vision. 8 months later, the day had finally come. Some things that were not included that had been discussed: Parking signs leading to the ceremony and reception, confetti for coming down the aisle, a DJ or host to organize the reception. There were many more minute details that were overlooked but I don’t consider myself a perfectionist. I am incredibly sad and disappointed that I didn’t get my first dance with my dad due to the lack of coordination and effort. I am so happy that I had people around me to support me the entire day but I can’t explain how disappointed I am in the establishment and the owner. Use your discretion when collaborating with Lisa as she seems to over-promise and under-deliver.
