s. We didn’t want the night to be boring, and we didn’t want people to leave early or leave close after dinner. My husband and I love dancing and music, we live in downtown Chicago and going out and music/concerts is a huge part of our lives. We spent a lot of time researching DJs and speaking with many DJs/companies at the Des Moines bridal show & etc. I felt the many DJs I met with could deliver the basics, but I needed more- we really wanted to make sure our dance floor was never empty at any point of the night. During our DJ search, we almost gave up trying to find someone in Iowa and shell out the extra cost of paying for one of our Chicago DJs to travel to Des Moines for our wedding. Thank god we didn’t have to. Seth was the exact DJ we wanted and we were honestly a little worried we wouldn’t be satisfied, but wow I’m so lucky, relieved and ecstatic we had him as our DJ. From 7 pm to 11:55 pm our dance floor ALWAYS had a group of hyped people dancing the night away. I’m pleasantly shocked that even during our last song, right before the clock struck midnight, we still had a large group of people still with us, singing along, shoes kicked off, laughing/screaming/hands up in the air. Our meeting with Seth put me at ease- he saw our song requests and notes for what our goals were and he knew exactly the type of mood we were trying to set. Seth was an excellent MC as well. He was really sweet and I’m so happy we went with Twisted Mic. This review is so long because I’m so grateful we were paired with such a talented DJ. He didn’t just hit play and do a few transitions. He mixed songs, knew how to read the crowd, and delivered exactly what we wanted.

set up prior from helping us pick a monogram for the night to suggesting during dinner songs! They even offered us a military discount which made our experience even better! Seth was our DJ and he worked extremely hard to make sure that everything that we requested was taken care of! We threw a ton of stuff at him and he made sure to fit everything in there! We even provided him with a new game to play at future events with the guests! We would highly recommend Twisted Mic's for your next event!

to see them! When it came to the wedding day all of those plans were thrown out and the mistakes were too numerous to mention. The biggest mistake was destroying my first dance with faulty equipment that boomed out 3 times. I’m so glad my dance with my dad was right after or I would have cried! After that the Djs were so irritating to me they kept telling me all the reasons the problems were not there fault. When I called you to tell you my complaints you promised to call me in the next few days... that was about 2 months ago and in that time I have called and emailed you multiple times. I’m very disappointed and I would not recommend your services to anyone.

take pride in their equipment and go above and beyond. After our wedding my wife and I would talk about corners we could have cut to save money. Never considered hiring anyone other than Twisted Mic’s. Worth every penny!
