We had the BEST time out on the dance floor with our DJ, Jeff. He went above & beyond to make sure our reception was the best ever! I appreciated that he took the time to call us the week of the wedding, to review any final changes & make sure he had all of the correct information. He handled our music transitions flawlessly during the ceremony & our dance floor was PACKED the entire night! We had so many compliments from our guests - we loved that he was out on the dance floor with us!! Our impromptu last dance with the rest of our guests became one of my favorite wedding memories, & none of it would have been possible without Jeff! Thank you so much for an incredible & memorable day!

Twisted Mics offers a lot of different options and amenities. The staff was very nice when we meet prior to our wedding to go over the timeline. They were on top of things as far as reaching out to meet all the way to the wedding day making sure they had everything correct. The DJ we had was a fun guy who played the songs we had on our playlist, he took requests, and had good vibes through the whole night. We highly recommend using Twisted Mics for your wedding as I know many others who have also had a great experience with them.

Need a DJ for your wedding?? Look no further, Twisted Mic was amazing!! Obie knew how to get the party started and kept it going all night! We had so much fun with him, he was interactive and made sure everyone was having a good time! We had so many compliments on our choice of DJ, they loved that he didn’t stay behind his booth, he got involved and played whatever someone requested to make sure the dance floor was never empty! Make sure to give them a call, they also travel outside the quad city area!

Twisted Mics went above and beyond our expectations for our special day! The were fun, energetic, and easy to work with. We booked their DJ services, and added on the ceremony package as well as the photo-booth, which was a hit! I cannot recommend their services enough!

We got so many compliments throughout our entire wedding night about how awesome our DJ was. Having a super fun dance floor and a great night of celebration was our top 3 priorities. We didn’t want the night to be boring, and we didn’t want people to leave early or leave close after dinner. My husband and I love dancing and music, we live in downtown Chicago and going out and music/concerts is a huge part of our lives. We spent a lot of time researching DJs and speaking with many DJs/companies at the Des Moines bridal show & etc. I felt the many DJs I met with could deliver the basics, but I needed more- we really wanted to make sure our dance floor was never empty at any point of the night. During our DJ search, we almost gave up trying to find someone in Iowa and shell out the extra cost of paying for one of our Chicago DJs to travel to Des Moines for our wedding. Thank god we didn’t have to. Seth was the exact DJ we wanted and we were honestly a little worried we wouldn’t be satisfied, but wow I’m so lucky, relieved and ecstatic we had him as our DJ. From 7 pm to 11:55 pm our dance floor ALWAYS had a group of hyped people dancing the night away. I’m pleasantly shocked that even during our last song, right before the clock struck midnight, we still had a large group of people still with us, singing along, shoes kicked off, laughing/screaming/hands up in the air. Our meeting with Seth put me at ease- he saw our song requests and notes for what our goals were and he knew exactly the type of mood we were trying to set. Seth was an excellent MC as well. He was really sweet and I’m so happy we went with Twisted Mic. This review is so long because I’m so grateful we were paired with such a talented DJ. He didn’t just hit play and do a few transitions. He mixed songs, knew how to read the crowd, and delivered exactly what we wanted.

I cannot hardy put into words how amazing Twisted Mic’s was!! They made the entire process of planning our wedding day seamless and as easy as possible! Lexy is a rockstar planner and Collin did an incredible job as our DJ! I got so many comments from all age groups at how great the music choices were! 12/10 stars!!

Twisted Mic's was AMAZING to work with! We got married this past weekend and we received so many compliments on how awesome the DJ was! Lexy was great at helping us get everything set up prior from helping us pick a monogram for the night to suggesting during dinner songs! They even offered us a military discount which made our experience even better! Seth was our DJ and he worked extremely hard to make sure that everything that we requested was taken care of! We threw a ton of stuff at him and he made sure to fit everything in there! We even provided him with a new game to play at future events with the guests! We would highly recommend Twisted Mic's for your next event!

We loved Twisted Mic’s and would highly recommend! Lexy was really helpful coordinating everything prior to the event and Seth was our DJ. He was SO much fun! I honestly have never seen a dance floor so full for the whole night and he did a great job with our guests as we had a variety of musical tastes in the group. Could not have asked for better!

I had a very bad experience working with you. When I first starting working with you I was very happy. You seem so organized and sincere. We made so many plans and I was so excited to see them! When it came to the wedding day all of those plans were thrown out and the mistakes were too numerous to mention. The biggest mistake was destroying my first dance with faulty equipment that boomed out 3 times. I’m so glad my dance with my dad was right after or I would have cried! After that the Djs were so irritating to me they kept telling me all the reasons the problems were not there fault. When I called you to tell you my complaints you promised to call me in the next few days... that was about 2 months ago and in that time I have called and emailed you multiple times. I’m very disappointed and I would not recommend your services to anyone.

Twisted Mic’s was our DJ back in 2013 when they were first getting started and they did a great job then! They have greatly improved since then and are continuing to improve everyday. They are the best in the Quad Cities for sure! You will definitely not be disappointed when you book them for your wedding or any event for that matter. They actually helped with our ceremony as well and it would not have gone as smoothly as it did if they didn’t help with everything. The dance floor was packed the entire night and that’s definitely something you want. The guests need to be entertained or no one will have fun! They know exactly what to play when. One of the easiest decisions during our wedding planning was booking Twisted Mic’s. Absolute best in the area. They were easy to work with, professional, friendly, and fun! They take pride in their equipment and go above and beyond. After our wedding my wife and I would talk about corners we could have cut to save money. Never considered hiring anyone other than Twisted Mic’s. Worth every penny!

The owner, Kelly, was wonderful and has a great team. They were extremely professional but also fun. We had an outdoor wedding and they brought their own generator which really helped me out a lot!
