d airy, angelic wedding photos that I had seen. I knew I wanted my wedding to be captured with some contrast in a more candid, docu-style. I was recommended to Twisted Oaks and I fell in love with their work. After a year and a half of planning + a pandemic, they never once missed a beat. Eric, my photographer, was/is AMAZING. He was in contact with my the entire time, checking in to not only see if there was anything I needed, but also to get me excited for the big day. Surely, their entire team was overwhelmed with postponements and cancellations, but you'd never know it working with them. The day of our wedding, it was important to me that I didn't have to do much work. I was fortunate enough to have Eric and Kristen direct me and put me at ease. They are chill, casual, funny and worked their asses off the whole day. I've heard you know you have a good photographer when you don't know they're there. I agree and disagree with this. It's true that I was able to enjoy the night without feeling like I had a camera in my face. However, there were times throughout the night where I may have been out of range, having a moment with friends/family, and all of a sudden, I'd look over, and either Eric or Kristen were there to capture it. And THAT to me is what makes a great photographer. I've received some sneak peaks of our pictures, and my family, friends and I went NUTS. They are exactly what I was hoping for and I CAN'T WAIT to see the rest! I had such an amazing experience working with Eric, Kristen, and the Twisted Oaks team. It's hard to believe it's all over [crying] , but they will always have a place in my heart!! ot just your usual light and airy wedding shots. We had a free engagement shoot that left us with such stunning pictures, we could hardly choose what to use for the Save the Date. During the day-of, Sandi and Jay were by our side the whole time but never interfering with the fun and flow of the day more than we wanted. They have been flexible and communicative, but their true talent is obviously the magic they create with light and styling. They made us feel comfortable and gave us just the right amount of coaching throughout the process. cilia/Twisted Oaks for her wedding...and I will NEVER forget just how gorgeous her wedding pictures were. We just knew we had to book her for our big day! From the day we booked to days after our wedding, she makes you feel like you are the only couple she’s focusing on. She’s available, attentive, patient, down to earth, outgoing and just so so talent. My then fiancé was a bit nervous and apprehensive about engagement pictures. Minutes into our pictures, he whispered to me just how comfortable he felt solely because of Cecilia. She has a way of making you feel like you’ve known her for years...which is so important when booking your photographer! Our engagement pictures were better than I ever ever dreamt of!! Fast forward to our wedding, she arrived about 30 mins early to get a head start. She has a strong eye for details and takes pictures that are outside of the box. I ended up added more time with her so she could stay closer to the end of our reception- I wanted her to be next to us more and more! The next morning, she posted a few pictures and they’re to die for! I’ve received so many compliments that they look like they’re straight out of a magazine. If there’s anything you need to do for your wedding...it’s booking Cecilia for your wedding!!!!!!

amazing as well. They were so relax and casual the day of my wedding. The were not pushy and not in the way, honestly they blended in so well you forget they were even there. To top it off they are fun to have around. At one point of taking pictures Jay was half way in a ditch to get a shot. The whole processes from first mailing them to the actually day of my wedding was smooth. They get back to you right away if you have any questions, they are very thorough on asking what photos you would like and what you would like out of your wedding day. I would honestly recommend them to anyone. If there is one thing I learned you only get one wedding day so you have to make it count. When it is all said and done everything else you spend money on is done, but the photos last forever. They are worth it trust me! In 20 years from now I will not have cheese photos, they will still be beautiful and works of art.

ife. When I came across Twisted Oaks Studio on the Knot, I immediately called to make an appointment. My husband and I drove to the studio and met with Jay. He made us feel at home and asked us questions to really get to know us. By the end, Tom and I knew that they were exactly what we were looking for. Angela was our photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot and we could not be happier. Tom and I faced timed with Angela to get to know her before shooting our engagement pictures. She was flexible with meeting us at our favorite spot even with a snow storm on the way. Angela also didn't mind our dog tagging along to be in some photos. When our wedding day arrived it was like seeing an old friend. Her and John made the day so easy. We had a very large and loud wedding party which was difficult to wrangle at times but they did an AMAZING job! We love every single photo that they took. They captured every detail that we put into our day, some of which we didn't even get a chance to see. At the end of the night I realized we didn't take any pictures with my husbands beloved motorcycle. Angela and John were able to take great night shots and were perfect in every way. We had hurricane like winds on our wedding day and they still found a way to make our first look photos on the beach look amazing. They also made us feel very comfortable as we both are not a huge fan of taking photos! My wedding party was a bit talkative and they handled us all like absolute professionals while still having a great time with us. ing we ended up using one of their associates Doug, and I cannot even tell you the compliments we got on our engagement photos. Doug made us feel comfortable and relaxed (we’re both not great at taking photos). But he also made the entire experience a lot of fun even though we took them in January in the snow. The pictures are beyond beautiful and are something we will honestly cherish forever. Our wedding was this past weekend, and again Doug was amazing. (I literally CANNOT wait to see the photographs). Doug and Megan made the day so much fun even though it was a lot of chaos in the morning. not only did they set the tone for the day but both were equally helpful in other areas. From Doug putting shoe decals on my wedding shoes, to teaching my maid of honor how to put my veil in, he was invaluable. Megan, also, was right in there fixing the groomsmen boutonnières. During the reception, they really operated in the background once we got to our venue, never pulling us away from the dance floor as i have seen other photographers do. They were honestly worth every penny and then some. You will not regret using twisted oaks for your wedding.

With so much going on throughout the day, they were consummate pros with attention to every minute detail in perfecting some of our favorite setup shots and flying around the party capturing every highlight. We had a blast at our wedding, and you guys were the main reason that we didn't totally freak out about being over an hour late for pictures the morning of the wedding! e I was going to have my wedding, I knew it had to be somewhere near home, where my whole family still was. A big criteria for choosing my vendors was being able to handle my need for remote planning. Sandi and Angela made sure to accommodate my needs! Angela was always ready to do facetime calls, and made sure to have every detail ahead of the day of, to make the day of seamless. Angela and John had great personalities and really just made it fun working with them. I really wanted an artistic/documentary feel to our photos and that's exactly what we got! The pictures were AMAZING…our family/friends kept telling us how they so perfectly captured “us.” Even after my husband got us lost in a state park…at night…with no flash lights…3 hours away from home… they even showed up for our wedding, and thank god for that! Our wedding pictures are on another level! My father cries when he looks at their pictures, I can’t decide what ones I’m going to hang in my home and I’m already scheming to see when/what we can work with them on again. Not only are they super creative, but they are also down to earth, fun, and awesome people to have around on your wedding day. From the second we reached out, Jay and Sandi had been super responsive, friendly and warm. We had to reschedule several times because the weather wasn't cooperating , but let me tell you, Sandi was so completely understanding and almost insisted we reschedule because she wanted us to have incredible photos just as much as we did!! We finally had the chance to meet Jay and Austin on a perfect day and it was absolutely worth the wait. My fiancé and I couldn't believe how much fun we were having, after thinking it would be an awkward experience (we don't take many photos!). We haven't seen all of the photos just yet, but Jay sent over a few teasers and they are INCREDIBLE. We were blown away (I couldn't believe it was us!!) and can't wait to fill our walls with the amazing photos Jay and Austin took. We highly recommend Twisted Oaks Studio to anyone looking to capture dreamy, romantic, Pinterest worthy photos that you'll cherish forever!! ing out how to make everything seem seamless, including Cecilia calming my nerves about the 100% chance of rain the week before. We initially chose to go with Twisted Oak because of how beautifully edited the photos were, and we were not disappointed with how BEAUTIFUL our photos turned out. We received the photos exactly in the timeline they told us, and they did a great job communicating with us throughout the entire process (before and after the wedding). I was thrilled both with customer service and product with Twisted Oaks!

John did just that! They were also wonderful at making us genuinely laugh throughout the day! I love how the photos came out, they were magical! My only critique is I wish I knew earlier in the planning process the suggested time of how long the photos were expected to take and I would have moved the timeline up an hour to accommodate. While boys have plenty of time to get ready and my husband had an individual shot with each groomsmen, I felt like I only had time for group shots with my ladies. That being said, those shots are filled with the joy I felt on the day and perfect! You will be very happy if you choose Twisted Oaks for your day!

When Cecilia suggested we go outside for more pictures at different moments and she said "two minutes" she meant it and let us enjoy ourselves as much as possible. I am so happy I got to work with them!

r all of our wedding party shots, and worked so well with our videographers. It was like one big team even though they worked for separate companies. They also got great shots from our reception, but it didn't feel like they were in the way or blocking any special moment so of the night. Twisted Oaks editing is also so beautiful you will be excited to hang up their final products!
