We chose Twisted Sisters for our wedding in July and I’m so glad we did! Ariel was fantastic to work with! Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we went with cake pops and mini cupcakes, which were absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious!! While I no longer live in the Virginia Beach area, we will be making a stop at Twisted Sisters each time we visit the area to get one of their delicious treats!

Cake and cupcakes were delicious and a huge hit! Communication was easy from day one. Beautiful and delicious! I could not have asked for more!

The presentation was also so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Ariel was so great to work with during the planning process. She’s very understanding, friendly and professional. We will definitely be using Twisted Sisters Cupcakes again in the future for any future events. 100% recommend.

Twisted Sisters made an incredible grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner! I had a vision in mind, and they really ran with it and did an amazing job. It looked amazing and everyone loved it! The cake was incredibly delicious and everyone was raving about it all night long. They were easy to work with, straight forward on pricing, and overall did an excellent job! I highly recommend them for custom cakes and cupcakes!

Ariel and her team were amazing! We had a 3 tier cake with additional cupcakes at our wedding and everything turned out perfectly! We got so many compliments on how good the flavors were and they set everything up beautifully while we were getting ready. I will definitely be making trips back to their bakery to get more delicious treats in the future!!

This is one of our favorite bakeries! Ariel and her team did a great job making exactly what we asked for. Both our wedding cake and cupcakes we amazing and turned out delicious! Everyone at our wedding could not stopping talking about the cupcakes! Highly recommend for any event you have!

Highly recommend! I had three flavors of cupcake and one small cake for my wedding and they were both beautiful and delicious. There was so much collaboration to get the vision that I wanted for the frosting designs and the cake and it really was so easy and beautiful. PLUS DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the Red Velvet it is honestly to die for.

Ariel and her team at Twisted Sisters helped bring our wedding vision to life! We wanted cupcakes to fit our unique dinosaur themed wedding and she delivered! The cupcakes were absolutely gorgeous and were so delicious. We received so many compliments about our cake all night long!

We chose to go simple for our wedding, opting for cupcakes rather than a big cake. We went around to a couple bakeries and ordered some cupcakes to try - Twisted Sisters hit the sweet spot of great taste & decor. We ordered 9 dozen cupcakes, which were beautifully made and enjoyed by our guests. The only downside was that we did have to pick them up on wedding morning, but the groom/best man were able to do this on their way to brunch.

My cake was so good and moist! And it was so pretty! They really did a great job! I never got to actually meet with them because I live out of town so I had to trust them and their expertise and they did not disappoint! I wish I could post a pic! Call them, you won't regret it!!!

Twisted sisters provided cupcakes and a small cake for our wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with (we had several hiccups and changes due to COVID-19), and the cakes were AMAZING! Highly recommend!

This place has the best cakes/cupcakes in VA beach! They’re an icon to the area and have such a cute and unique business model with the cupcake truck and the small town feel. Only knocking off one star because communication was kind of rocky at first, and we were dealing with multiple people instead of one person so it was hard to understand who was sending what and when and hard to understand some of our options both in the original planning stage and when we unfortunately had to cancel and get a smaller cake. But the cakes are delicious, the staff was friendly, and the vendor was accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

Twisted sisters was great to work with! Easy consultation and really took our needs into consideration. Our lemon funfetti cake with lemon icing knocked everyone off their feet. I definitely will be back for future events!

Excellent for any event! We used them for our wedding and did cupcakes with a small cake on top. Staff is super friendly and professional. The cupcakes are delicious, you will not be disappointed. They were slightly more expensive than a couple other places we tasted but well worth it.

We ordered cupcakes from Twisted Sisters Cupcakes for my daughter's wedding and were so pleased with the entire experience. The cupcakes were delicious and beautifully decorated. We really liked that we were able to select 4 different flavors so that our guests had options. The cupcake display at the Reception venue was beautiful also. Everyone that we interacted with at Twisted Sisters was so responsive, friendly and accommodating. My daughter is Gluten and Dairy free so we had to order a small cutting cake from a Vegan establishment . Twisted Sister offered the deliver that cake (even though it was purchased elsewhere) when they delivered the cupcakes. I really appreciated that extra Customer service - it really helped me out a lot. I will definitely consider them for any future engagement I may host, and I would highly recommend them to friends.

We used Twisted Sisters for cupcakes and it was a major hit! We also got some brownies and cookies and everyone loved them. Delivery was an added bonus. Love them!

Everything tasted great and was exactly what we were expecting. Delivery cost was a bit high so we had a friend pick them up but besides that the cupcakes and our small cake were excellent and our guests loved them!

We ordered both our wedding cake and cupcakes from Twisted Sisters for our July 2018 wedding. When we came in for our planning meeting and tasting, I shared a few pictures and ideas for our cake with Ariel. When I walked into our wedding reception, I was so excited to see a beautiful cake that looked exactly like I had envisioned. I wasn’t at the venue during setup, but my mom told me that the team member who came to set up the cake/cupcake display spent a good deal of time making sure it was perfect. We choose four different flavors of cupcakes for our 75 guests - all were FANTASTIC, but the Lemon Creme Brûlée were definitely the biggest hit! 10/10 would recommend.

We hired twisted sisters for our wedding in may 2018. We had a small cake to cut and ordered about 72 cupcakes. The cupcakes were a HUGE hit. We were able to go in for a tasting and chose our flavors that day. Pricing was very reasonable. Everyone I communicated with was prompt and professional. Highly recommend!

I won't lie. When it came to booking my wedding cake, I didn't even consider another bakery. I fell in love with Twisted Sisters Cupcakes on my very first visit to their van. I got a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake, and wished I'd bought a dozen! So, when it came to choosing my wedding cake, there was no other for me! I met with Ariel, and she was more than happy to transform that cupcake into a full-sized wedding cake. The cake came out wonderful. So many of my guests couldn't believe how delicious it was. I over ordered and my 4-tiers were expected to feed about 100 guests, and I only had about 75 guests so there was some leftover. The venue sliced up the 12" and 10" tiers, and sent the 6" and 4" tiers home with me. I was so happy! During my reception, the only cake I got to eat was the piece my husband smushed in my face, so we had one tier to enjoy the day after and another tier is waiting in the freezer (it likely won't last until our anniversary... the husband is already asking after it). I didn't expect to have two tiers, but I am so glad I did and I recommend you do the same! Thank you to Ariel and Traci, for my absolutely wonderful (and highly complimented) wedding cake!!!

Twisted Sisters Cupcakes is perfect for both Wedding Cakes and Wedding Cupcakes! We were able to choose 4 cupcake flavors and designs, as well as a different cutting cake flavor and design. The process was fully customized to our taste and design preferences. As an added bonus, the Twisted Sisters offers a Military Discount! They offered us a free cake tasting and consultation before signing our contract. Since the Twisted Sisters changes up their cupcake menu by the week and month, we went back several times to try their special flavors. We changed our minds a few times on flavors and the ladies were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout all of our changes. You can choose any flavor they make, even if it isn’t always on their menu! It is NOT easy to choose but we decided on a Vanilla that was gorgeously decorated with a white rose icing, Red Velvet with a glittery gold heart on top, Chocolate Chip Cookie dough and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. We topped it off with a Pink Moscato wedding cake. We were so pleased with the customer service and liked the desserts so much that we added an assortment of cookies, brownie bites, and cookie dough for our rehearsal dinner. They created a custom dessert array, worked within our budget, and recommended flavors and options that would compliment the wedding cake and cupcakes. Ariel, the lead cake decorator, is an extremely gifted artist and will work with you tirelessly to ensure your dreams are translated into icing - and if you’re having a creative block she is awesome at making suggestions within your style guidelines that will make your wedding vision come to life on the dessert table. She can do anything!! Bottom line, if you are looking for a customized, beautiful, and most of all, delicious dessert option for your wedding or rehearsal dinner, Twisted Sisters Cupcakes is the BEST choice! Tracy and her team at Twisted Sisters did an amazing job on our one tier cutting cake, and 145 cupcakes! We had a wonderful experience sitting with Tracy as she explained everything during our delicious tasting. Upon seeing the cake and cupcakes at the wedding, we were blown away with how precise everything was! From the handmade sea glass candy, to the delicious cupcake flavors we had requested, everything was perfect!

If there were more stars as an option I would give them all the Tracy and her team! They were phenomenal. Tracy took the time to meet with us personally at an impromptu visit to the cafe. We didn't anticipate being able to meet with anyone as their appointment book was full but we thought we'd stop by just to buy a cupcake or two. She and her staff were so easy to work with and they truly made us feel like we were the only clients in the world. We are not locals so all of our communication after this visit was via email but there was never a misunderstanding. I was able to leave the table supplies at the venue and the team set up the cake table BEAUTIFULLY! And I can't say enough about the cupcakes...DIVINE. They are truly the best I've ever had. I'd love to help plan another wedding just to have the chance to work with them again.

Our cupcakes were delicious!! I have enjoyed snacking on the extra ones and my guests enjoyed the different flavors. I was a little disappointed with the fondant decorations, they were not the color I requested. And our small cake for cutting was not decorated very much.

We hired Twisted Sisters to make our wedding cake for 100 guests and for a cupcake truck surprise hour at our reception. Start to Finish would highly recommend. Ariel completely captured our vision for our cake, it was gorgeous and fun and most importantly was delivered on time and tasted fantastic. The cupcake truck arrived at our reception venue in a driving thunder storm on time and was a complete hit with our guests. Would highly recommend Twisted Sisters - very easy to work with, completely professional, and exceeded my expectations!

we used twisted sisters as our baker for our cupcakes. the laides were always sooooo sweet!! we only had one hiccup with twisted sisters. one of our appointments had been forgotten about but they made it up because they sent us home with plenty of free cupcakes. they woman were always so cheerful. the cupcakes were high quality, they gave us so many choices. and every bit of them were amazing!! the cupcakes looked beautiful and they set them up perfect. they even threw in some gluten free cupcakes knowing we had 3 guests who had celiac disease!! i highly recommend tiested sisters

My theme was vintage love letters! I wanted vintage and classic flavor cupcakes and that is exactly what I got!! The table was decorated beautifully and the cupcakes looked AMAZING! They did my cutting cake to look like an envelope and it was beyond what I imagined!! Everyone raved about the cupcakes and they must have loved them because I only had 1 left at the end of the evening that they saved for me to freeze!
