Our friends and family are not big on dancing and we had attended several weddings with nearly empty dance floors. I talked with Jeff about the audience (age, general music listening preferences), and a few songs I really wanted to hear. He ran with it and our dance floor was full from start to finish! He also did a great job with announcements during our cake cutting, dances and toasts.

And he didn't disappoint. I have received so many compliments about the how much fun everyone had and I know it is in large part because I hired incredible vendors like Jeff. Not only did he have an impressive website that allowed us to go in and sample music and put together a list of songs that we wanted played (or not played) but he had it set up so that we could plug in every last detail about our wedding reception and he made sure it went off without missing a beat (pardon the pun). Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night long and everyone left wanting more. We knew that Jeff and Carlo were great at reading the crowd and allowed them to largely dictate what songs were played and in what order and we are so glad we did. They are truly exceptional!

Later in the night Carlos led us through how to do the Thriller dance which was hysterical, and a lot more fun than the normal wedding group dance songs. Jeff was so helpful when it came to picking all of our “special” songs, and the online system was perfect for picking must play and do not play songs. Jeff totally understood my style which I described as “not cheesy 8th grade mixer, everything else is ok”. You will not be disappointed hiring these two. Thanks again Jeff and Carlos!

The DJs worked really well with our coordinators to stick to the time line and they made sure to talk with the people speaking before hand so they knew when to speak and how to talk into the microphone. c show! Between our "day of" coordinator and Jeff, I didn't have to worry about a thing - which says a lot. He listens to everything you want and makes it happen. We had 2 major things people commented on at and after our wedding: our food and our DJ. We knew we wanted great music, and man did we get it! He was there all day with us - 4:30-12 and was actually there getting ready by 2! The night was so much fun, and hugely in part to Jeff & Carlo!!

as your must haves/absolutely do not play and all the planning forms online so you can make sure all your songs for each specific dance is correct. They were also very helpful when a song was not within their database, he found it and edited it for time and it was perfect!

They took requests at their discretion and did a great job of asking me when a questionable one popped up. handled the speakers and mics for our outdoor wedding and when it started raining even held umbrellas over our string trio. The bridal party announcement was done in such a classy way and they kept the night moving. The up-lighting in the reception tent absolutely transformed the place for a spectacular atmosphere! They followed our direction to play "clean, family" songs in the beginning of the night and when we gave him the cue our reception turned into the best dance party ever! It has been 7 months and our friends are still talking about it! Highly recommend Jeff and his crew at Two Guys...!

He works a lot with Longview Mansion, so he is used to organizing the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, cake cutting, dinner, etc. He also did an awesome gobo for us (designed the piece that goes on a light to put our names in lights on the dance floor) and made an amazing slideshow of our baby photos with great effects to play during dinner. We also ordered our sparklers through them for our send off at the end of the night & they lit them all for us with a blow torch. They have a lot of great ideas and are really wonderful!

him this much. Next I got an e-mail asking about my wedding date. I told him my wedding date and he said that he would hold that day for me until we could meet in January (my wedding was in April). I called them the last week of December and they said that they had already booked my wedding day and that they would not be able to DJ for my wedding. I made sure that they didn't have my name down for the booked day, but nope it was someone else. With not so much of a phone call they took me off of their calendar. Do not book these people, they are unreliable. Instead consider Debby Z, she was amazing.

Everyone had a wonderful time and it was all thanks to Jeff. He kept the ball rolling all night and always let me know what was happening well in advance so I would be ready. He also did a friends wedding of mine, which is how I heard about him, and he did a great job at that one as well. They had professional dance lessons through him and you would not believe how good it was. He is your one stop shop for dance lessons, DJ service, and professional lighting. He is by far the best DJ in Kansas City, and I am so happy I used them!
