We used Two Hearts for a rehearsal dinner picnic in the northwoods. Everything was perfect. Easily planned, great communication, fair pricing. The food was excellent and even included a S’mores bar for dessert!!
We used Two Hearts Catering for our wedding a couple weeks ago and we’re still talking about the food! Everything about this experience was top notch and completely exceeded expectations.
Right off the bat, they were able to accommodate for our short notice decision to have a small wedding. After a super informative discussion, we felt confident with our choice of the herbed chicken with Marsala sauce, mushroom risotto, broccolini, and Caesar salad. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Everything was amazing and the chicken and risotto were favorites amongst the crowd! Prior to dinner we had a variety of appetizers for our guests and the spread was incredible. We had spinach artichoke dip and a charcuterie, cheese, and veggie board. It was so nicely displayed and plenty for our guests to enjoy. Everyone was very well fed at our wedding!
Not only was the food exceptional, but so was their customer service. It was a real pleasure getting to work with Peter prior to our day. He is genuinely one of the kindest, most considerate people I’ve ever worked with. It was clear right away that he has years of experience in this industry and that he cares about the people he does business with. We were trying to put together a wedding last minute and his expertise helped us think of things we wouldn’t have considered in time. We also greatly appreciated the local suggestions for other things like flowers, DJ, and dessert. He mentioned a couple times that he treats his customers like family and would do what they could to make the day easier for us and we really did feel that way during this entire experience.
I would recommend Two Hearts Catering in a heartbeat and we’re looking forward to the next time we need catering!

- Peter SchwechelOwner/Operations ManagerI am Peter Schwechel. My wife Lisa and I sought to bring flavorful tasting food and quality service to our local tables in 2018. We created Two Hearts LLC, a catering and event planning company. Growing up in small town heartland America, I honed my cooking techniques from watching my mother and grandmother in the kitchen. My family’s improvisation and intuition always created a great meal. With a passion for the beauty in food creation, after years in the food and beverage industry coupled with a formal education in business, graduating from Roger Williams University, with a bachelor's degree in 1992. My desire to make my mark in the culinary world continued as I traversed the United States. After moving to Colorado in the late 1990’s, I spent 6 years operating a corporate catering business as well as working in food service industry. I now have the good fortune to again enter the culinary world earning a living as a caterer, co leading with my wife. I am pleased to bring our farmhouse inspired Italian and American dishes to your table. We take immense pride in our menus featuring farm to table cuisine and good old-fashioned hospitality. We cater all types of events ranging from intimate dinners to large weddings and corporate functions. Our personalized menus allow us to deliver on each client’s distinct vision for their event. Our guests continue to be delighted with a delicious meal created from choice ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. Our company strives to deliver a dining experience that ensures that their event is that one-of-a-kind positive memory lasting for years to come.
