We did not have our wedding yet, but we decided to book TWO HEARTS CATERING. They are great at communicating and are very understanding of the wedding planning process. We had our tasting and they truly care about making this YOUR day. They set up the table for us and had us try all the dishes we were thinking of trying! Excited to see their wonderful work at our wedding in August.

We had our wedding on 10/21/2023. Peter was great at communicating throughout our wedding planning and was very easy to get in touch with. You can tell he really cares about making your wedding experience great and less stressful. We loved the pasta, it was delicious! All the different sauces was a great touch and they all tasted great. I would definitely recommend two hearts for a great wedding caterer.

Peter and Lisa were so wonderful to work with. I had my wedding on 10.14.2023 and they surpassed my expectations. They were so great to work with and so quick on the response. The food was a huge hit at the wedding with many guest going up for seconds, we had minimal leftovers with how popular the food was. The pies were also a huge hit. You can tell the owner really care about their client, they go above and beyond. I am so happy I chose 2 heart catering, I firmly believe their attention to detail and the level of service aided in making the wedding a perfect day!! The next time I need to cater an event they will be my first choice. I highly recommend going with Tow heart catering, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent! 5 stars! Peter, Lisa, and their team exceeded all of my expectations with their catering, table and bar service, and preparation activities. My husband and I hosted an elaborate anniversary party with ~70 guests and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of caterer. Peter is very attentive to detail and provided excellent consultation with the customized requests we had. He spent months mapping out every facet of our party, from a suggestion of charger plates, to selecting special bar fruit for our signature cocktail; the list goes on. We had several gluten free guests which the team was able to accommodate seamlessly. The team arrived early, stayed late, and made sure to cross every T and dot every I. The food was delicious, hot, and delivered with poise. Thank you Peter and Lisa for making our party fantastic!

Peter and Lisa are very humble people! They helped take the time to help set up extra items at my wedding when they did not have too! Not only did they ensure a positive experience they certainly executed it! Our guest could not stop raving about how delicious Chef Steve’s food was. Everyone thought it was a homemade Italian dish, and not something catered. Everything was was very flavorful and not dry. Huge shout out to Chef Steve and his outstanding talent for food. Thank you Peter and Lisa for being so informative and responsive! Would recommend this company a million times again!!!!

Our experience with Lisa and Peter as caterers as well as day-of coordination for our September wedding was all around positive. Coordination was easy, and all our requests and wishes were taken into consideration thoughtfully. Despite having to travel some distance to our venue, Two Hearts came with a full staff (several cooks, servers, as well as themselves and a second coordinator, Paige, who was very attentive and made sure we did not get hangry during photos). From the first conversation on, you know that Peter is wholly invested in making the perfect meals for your event. Everything was cooked/prepared fresh onsite. Meanwhile, Lisa and Paige were thoroughly attentive and professional with us and our guests and our schedule, even when the occasional technical mishap occurred.
TL;DR - Two Hearts is a fantastic caterer that provides top notch service and coordination, and we would hire them again at any time for our next big event.
I am Peter Schwechel. My wife Lisa and I sought to bring flavorful tasting food and quality service to our local tables in 2018. We created Two Hearts LLC, a catering and event planning company.
Growing up in small town heartland America, I honed my cooking techniques from watching my mother and grandmother in the kitchen. My family’s improvisation and intuition always created a great meal. With a passion for the beauty in food creation, after years in the food and beverage industry coupled with a formal education in business, graduating from Roger Williams University, with a bachelor's degree in 1992. My desire to make my mark in the culinary world continued as I traversed the United States.
After moving to Colorado in the late 1990’s, I spent 6 years operating a corporate catering business as well as working in food service industry. I now have the good fortune to again enter the culinary world earning a living as a caterer, co leading with my wife. I am pleased to bring our farmhouse inspired Italian and American dishes to your table. We take immense pride in our menus featuring farm to table cuisine and good old-fashioned hospitality.
We cater all types of events ranging from intimate dinners to large weddings and corporate functions. Our personalized menus allow us to deliver on each client’s distinct vision for their event. Our guests continue to be delighted with a delicious meal created from choice ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. Our company strives to deliver a dining experience that ensures that their event is that one-of-a-kind positive memory lasting for years to come.

I'm Lisa Schwechel and am one of the owners of Two Hearts Events and Catering. I'm one of the planners and day of coordinators. I just completed the certification with Wedding MBA and am excited to attend the Wedding MBA conference in November 2023 with Jessica & Paige. Peter & I started the business because of our interest in helping others. We love bringing Two Hearts together to plan their day/ meal.

I was classically trained at the New England Culinary Institute with formal training under several master Chef's over the years. With a love for food and a heart to show others that passion Chef Scott was the perfect fit for the Two Hearts team. Leading the way in the kitchen I strive to demonstrate my desire to cook with love every day in the quality of product and dishes. I have many outside interests that include civil war reinactments, trail cooking, motorcycles and the open road which has helped me hone my culinary talents all over the United States. With strong roots being in Wisconsin I have been blessed to have joined the Two Hearts team in 2023, I have a strong background and appreciation of italian food and classical cuisine with its old world charm as well.
