About this vendor
At Two Wild Seeds, our recipes are inspired by our Midwest roots, our family’s favorite desserts, Susan's garden, travels around the world, fond childhood memories and everyday joys. We work with local ingredients whenever possible and believe in creating products that are natural (yet decadent) — free of fillers, preservatives and artificial flavors.
All of our bakery items are made entirely from scratch using high-quality ingredients. No artificial flavors, fillers or preservatives. Our cakes are always baked within 24 hours of your special occasion. As an added bonus, all of the items we offer are 100% gluten-free! Even if you're not GF, rest assured -- the majority of our couples aren't GF and still prefer the taste and texture of our cakes over others they've tried.

I think the Two Wild Seeds team did a FANTASTIC job for our wedding. From our initial tasting, I felt immediately comfortable with the services that they could provide - I have die...
tary restrictions, so I felt perfectly as ease when they discussed how they could accommodate me and give me exactly what I wanted for my wedding. They also worked extremely well in tandem with our other vendors - they worked directly with our florist who added beautiful touches to our wedding cake and were professional and experienced while on-site at our reception location. I am so pleased that we found a thriving small business like Two Wild Seeds who have the skill, craft and capabilities to add delicious, stunning cakes and treats to any event. We were thrilled with our experience with them and will continue to be repeat visitors to their cafe/store in the future!
Two Wild Seeds made the most perfect sweets assortment for our wedding day! My husband is gluten-free and it was important to us that we were both able to enjoy our wedding treats ...
without feeling sick afterwards. Two Wild Seeds made the most gorgeous mini cupcakes and sweets table for our guests to enjoy while dancing the night away. They worked with us to ensure that we picked the perfect assortment filled with treats that we loved - our guests are still complimenting how delicious (and beautiful!) the sweets table was and how they couldn't believe it was all gluten free! We love Two Wild Seeds and would highly recommend to other couples for their wedding day - whether GF or not!
Two Wild Seeds Bakery is amazing! The shop itself is so cute- we really enjoyed our tasting! They have so many unique cake options- we chose Tea & Honey and it was oh-so delicious!...
! Our guests loved it! They did a beautiful job working with our florist and getting florals from her to make our wedding cake exactly how we envisioned it! The staff was the sweetest too- which makes the wedding planning process that much easier and enjoyable! Highly recommend :)

small cutting cake, mini cupcakes, brownies and honey and oat pies. I have never seen people line up for a dessert table at any wedding as they did at ours. I still dream of the dessert and I wish we didn’t live far away so I could enjoy them more!

items along the way, it was always so easy to work with Katie. The cake was perfect, tasted amazing, and all of our guests raved about it! We tried other bakeries but this was beyond the best tasting cakes, even with being gluten free! Our gluten free guests were thrilled to be able to have the cake and the other guests couldn't even tell the difference! So thankful for Katie and her team!

create both our wedding cake and sweets table. It was the best decision we could have made, the desserts were gone within minutes of the start of the reception! Not to mention, Katie and the TWS team were so wonderful to work with; very professional, organized, and always had timely responses to our emails. We would highly recommend TWS for any special occasion... or just any occasion :)

Also an important side note is that the cake save extremely well for the next day and even week!! We had a two tier cake with Vanilla Chai on the top and Toasted Almond on the bottom.

e to enjoy all of our desserts at our wedding with my celiac disease, however our guests did not even realize our cake and cupcakes were gluten-free! We had a delicious pumpkin spice cake for our October wedding and we also had a huge spread of cupcakes, everything was amazing! I would highly recommend this bakery for any baked goods in general, but especially for a wedding or special occasion.

So my (now husband) has a dairy allergy, and I have a gluten allergy; yes, we're a hoot to eat out with. Of COURSE, food was also one of the top important things to us for our Wedd...
ing - that it was good, and that everyone could eat it. My mom actually happened to meet Sue at a friend's gathering and was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of her desserts. We went out to St. Charles for a visit (well worth it, by the way, St. Charles is adorable), and I was hooked. They were easy to work with and communicated with our venue for smooth delivery, but more than anything I cannot impress enough how amazing the QUALITY was of every piece we ordered. We had almost no leftovers, and we ordered a lot. It is challenging to be able to enjoy your wedding meal and dessert with food allergies; trust me, the money was very well spent; everyone was able to eat, and those who don't have allergies, didn't notice a difference. If you're getting married in the Chicago burbs, this is the way to go. Advice: try their Cheddar or Parmesan dinner rolls. Probably the only thing I actually ate for dinner that night.
Everything they have is so delicious. We loved the cake and macaroons we ordered, no one even knew it was gluten-free. They were also easy to work with and very nice. Definitely wo...
