Music has been a cornerstone of our relationship, so live music was at the top of our priorities for the reception. In all honesty, we expected to book with another band. But befor...
e a contract was signed, we stopped hearing from them, which had us scrambling to find an alternative. We came close to compromising our vision and selecting a DJ. Before we made that choice, however, we decided to search for bands one last time. That's when we stumbled upon Ty Dillon.
We could tell Ty was someone we wanted to work with from the very first phone call. He was responsive, thorough, and incredibly accommodating. He handled all our requests with grace, kindness, and superb professionalism. He took ample time before the wedding to understand our musical tastes and the atmosphere we were hoping to create. He also offered fantastic suggestions to elevate our designs without overstepping our preferences. We had accrued a lot of stress trying to figure out what we were going to do about music at the reception. Working with Ty took nearly all the stress away.
On the day of the wedding, Ty and his band were simply phenomenal. Their setlist was a perfect mix of classics, modern hits, and crowd-pleasers that kept the dance floor packed. Afterwards, everyone raved to us. We even heard our wedding planner say it was the most packed she had seen a dance floor in a while! The energy they brought to the reception was contagious, and they truly made the night unforgettable.
If it wasn't clear already, Ty was a joy to work with. It's rare to find someone with such exceptional talent and genuine warmth. Moreover, Ty is simply a good man. You will not regret getting to know him. Don't pass up the opportunity to have Ty Dillon and his band transform your celebration into a cherished memory!
Ty is incredible and one of the nicest humans!
We booked him for our small 50 guest wedding in Boerne texas this past month.
I found Ty on this website. We were looking to keep ...
our music budget under $1500. Ty has an option where he can play solo acoustic at your event while also playing DJ and MC. I was a little hesitant at first- I wasn't sure if a solo musician would fit the vibe of the wedding..but Ty said not to worry that it would still be really fun and..MAN was he right.
We had the best wedding and Ty is a huge reason for that. He made sure the night ran smoothly. Everyone loved him- not only was he a great MC/DJ but his voice and musical talent is off the charts. So many of my guests were floored by his voice; they compared him to Luke Combs which is not far off.
At the end of the night, my husband asked Ty to play us one last dance, just two of us- the song of his choice and it was one of the sweetest moments of my life I will never forget.
This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, we cannot recommend Ty enough!! If I could give him 10 stars I would!
My husband and I had never been to a wedding with a live band but we absolutely love live music, so we decided to take a chance and book one for our wedding. After meeting Ty on a ...
video chat and then in person we knew he and the band were going to be great, but they exceeded our expectations! So many people have told us that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to, largely due to the music! They played everything from classic and Texas country, to 80s, 90s and alternative rock and did all of them so well! They even went out of their way to make sure our first dance was as similar to the version we loved most and learned a few songs they didn’t have on their normal set list. They are also so nice, funny and engaging with the guests! We can’t thank them enough and would love to meet them for a drink or see them play again anytime we’re in the area!
My husband and I got married on April 8th 2022 at the Meeker Mark in magnolia and hired Ty and his band to play! If you love live music and are on the search for a band you've foun...
d them! Hiring Ty was the absolute best decision I made for the entire wedding! His band was the best vendor I hired and worth every penny!! truthfully my husband and I struggled when researching bands and felt we couldn't find enough information/videos to make a good choice, even after we booked Ty we were still apprehensive as music is so important to us and we wanted it to be perfect but the first time I talked to Ty he eased all my worries with his calm reassuring demeanor and amazing communication skills. He was quick to respond, communicative, understanding, and organized. When the band arrived the day of the wedding and did their sound check I was getting ready and heard them through the bridal suit I instantly started crying because I was so excited at how good they sounded. If you read any review and let it sway you, let it be this one... you won't regret it for a single second.
Ty was the most amazing guy to work with and his band members are awesome too! Right when you think.nobody will get out on that dance floor he plays the right song and then nobody ...
gets off the dancefloor!! We highly recommend using Ty Dillon for your wedding! He has an amazing song list and can pretty much play anything and if he doesn't already know it he will learn it or play it for you! Can't say enough great things about him! Definitely book him and you and your guests will not regret it!
If you're on the fence about live music, DO IT.

ked with us to figure out what our music preferences were and made a custom set list that matched those. They were absolutely amazing and everyone had a blast! Not forgetting to mention, you should listen to their original music. My husband and I fell in love with 'When She Laughs' it was the song for our first dance.
I would 100000% recommend Ty to everyone!
We just got married on 10/9/21, and we are still in awe of how perfect our day turned out. We could not have pulled it off without the talent of Ty Dillon and his Band. The most ...
impressive part of his performance is it was evident he truly listened from the very beginning to what we wanted, and did his absolute best to give us an unforgettable night. If you are on the fence about a DJ versus live band please give these guys a look, they’re actually very competitively priced and to us it was well worth the expense. The reception just felt more personal to us because they really brought us that Texas theme to our mostly out-ff-town guest list, delivering a healthy amount of country music (even Texas Country) we really wanted along with enough mainstream dance music for everyone to enjoy. We are still receiving feedback about how amazing they were and how they kept people engaged on the dancefloor all night long. Ty also Emcee’ed with perfect professionalism, timing, and humor, and his band played the best combination of music from our favorite country & 2000’s genres. While they took breaks from their set list they also interspersed great dancefloor classics that provided the perfect balance for our reception. All in all we’re so happy we went with Ty and would recommend him to anyone looking for that same live band experience.
I cannot say enough about this band. We hired Ty and his band for our wedding and they did an exceptional job. They completely exceeded our expectations. The range of music that th...
ey can play is endless, they put on a great performance and our guests had the time of their lives. We had so many people throughout the night come up and specifically tell us how great the band is and how much fun they were having. Ty also made all the announcements that need to be made for our wedding he did a wonderful job with that.
Ty was also super easy to communicate with he was always quick to respond to all of my questions and he went above and beyond to make every request that I had happened. He even learned our wedding song just so he could play it for us on our wedding night. He also met me out at the venue two days before my wedding to make sure that we had all the ceremony music spot on. He was the easiest vendor that I had to deal with by far.He is genuinely just an all-around great guy.I highly recommend Ty Dillon and his band for any celebration you are having. I know we will definitely have him back for other parties we give.
Ty played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and it was everything we asked for!

Thank you to Ty!
Very very professional and willing to do any song! I didn’t even realize it was him singing at first! Amazing beyond words! Must have for your wedding or event!
I hired Ty and his bandmate, Garrett, to play as an acoustic duo at my outdoor 35-guest wedding during Covid. They were awesome! It was the touch of live music for my wedding and m...
y guests thought they were great. You can tell Ty is a genuinely good person. He met with us beforehand to play for us and discuss what we wanted, and learned new songs that we requested for first dances, etc. We kind of had a mix of everything, but mainly wanted a country music feel. His original songs are great too. We did not want a full band for our style of wedding and definitely didn’t want a cheesy band...I feel like the duo delivered good, authentic music that we were both able to dance to and also chill/listen while gathered around fire pits with our guests. They were punctual, the whole process was easygoing and his fee was very affordable. Definitely recommend!
I don’t know where to start... If you are even thinking about a live band for your wedding reception, or really any event at that, look no further! Ty Dillon Band is honestly the f...
ull package. They have been a breeze to work with, professional, timely, just over all amazing at an extremely affordable price point. I cannot tell you how many compliments we have received. The dance floor was NEVER empty! I can’t wait to experience future events with these guys. Hands down the best. Thanks again for everything guys!
