Talk about a perfect venue. This place screams gorgeous. Alexis was quick to assist in anything we needed. My sister was able to pull off the wedding of her dreams and it all started with the venue. I'm serious when I say you cannot go wrong with picking this place!

Talk about the wedding venue of my dreams!!!! I can’t recommend this venue enough! From the beautiful photo spots to the fantastic staircase everything is breathtaking! Thank you Alexis and team for making my wedding one none of my guests will ever forget!

Tybee Wedding Chapel was a dream come true for my daughter, Jillian and her new husband Matt. Alexis went above and beyond with service. Every time we had a question, Alexis responded swiftly. The chapel is magnificent, and the grand ballroom was perfect. We had 107 people. The dance floor was the perfect size, the tables were excellent and the chairs sturdy and comfortable. We had plenty of time to get ready in the bridal suite which was the perfect size. We had 2 bathrooms to use, and the dressing area was a nice size. The groom and groomsman had a nice size room as well with a bathroom. The chapel was the highlight of the day. From the moment the double doors swung open, and my daughter walked through them to be greeted by her father and walk down the aisle to the kiss after they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs., the chapel was beautiful. Every guest complimented us on the venue. They adored it. The gasps I heard when Jillian entered will be in my mind forever. We did not allow use of cellphones, because we wanted to see everyone's face when walking down the aisle. It was a great decision, although some friends and family did use their phones, so we have a few pictures. We are waiting for the photographer's pictures. We can't wait. Jillian and Matt even went to the beach for sunset photos. The cocktail hour/bar area was again the perfect size. We used 3 bartenders and were happy about that decision, although 2 would have been sufficient. We also added a late light snack which was served in this room. It went over very well. The outside of the venue was perfect too. Many guests wandered out for the bathrooms, to sit on the swing, chat and catch up. It was lovely and again our guests complimented this area as well. We opted for sparklers and a convertible car with driver for their farewell, and I am so happy we did. The couple had their last dance alone in the ballroom and we were all outside with the sparklers for their exit. It was such a beautiful moment. Again, I can't wait to see the photos of that. I cannot say enough good things about Tybee Wedding Chapel. It is simply a fairytale wedding venue and I highly recommend it. Our guests all rented cottages for the weekend and they loved getting away to Tybee. They enjoyed the island so much. I had been worried about it, because most weddings have a room block at hotels, but our guests loved it and really made the most of their time there. We did recommend the DeSoto Hotel to guests that did not opt for a cottage and my guests liked it. So, I would recommend this hotel if you really wanted to block rooms. It has access to the beach and is close to all the action of Tybee. Thank you, Alexis and the Tybee Wedding Chapel Team.

Communication was great throughout our entire process, before and after the wedding. The venue was absolutely stunning. It was everything I wanted and more! Thankful for the great staff and this beautiful venue!!!

Tybee Chapel was a dream venue! What sealed the deal was its beautiful chapel and gorgeous ballroom! Grooms and bride rooms are very nice as well. Alexis was our point of contact and she was quick to respond to ALL of my nervous bride emails (THANK YOU!). Our day went off without a hitch!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel was our perfect venue! We looked a few and none of them combined the elements that we wanted like Tybee. Alexis was wonderful to work with, from inquiring about the space and requesting a tour to meeting her again on our Wedding Day to make sure everything is in place. We loved that the areas for the ceremony and reception are in the same place with beautiful areas outside for photos and cocktail hours. A lot of other vendors in the area have familiarity with the space so that was a plus too. Bridal and Groom Suites were conveniently located next to bathrooms and provided enough space for everything we needed. The stairway provides a dreamlike entrance into the reception. (Our bridal party entered from the side.) You can change the lights in the reception area. The cocktail space worked perfectly for cocktail hour and during our reception. (We had our photo booth in there too.) We wouldn't change a thing about the venue. It was perfect!

The venue speaks for itself, absolutely stunning. Alexis was great with helping and answering any questions I had while planning my wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone considering getting married in Tybee.

The chapel is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect venue to have our wedding!

What else can be said about the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel that hasn’t already been said? Its exterior beauty is self-evident with double staircases out front, a creek out back surrounded by old trees with low hanging branches, and the building’s white wooden paneling. The interior is like something out of a movie (which it is circa The Last Song). Intimate, yet appropriately sized. Gorgeous exposed wooden beams. Warmth in color that would match any wedding color palette. The acoustics make sound equipment unnecessary. A selling point for us was the equally impressive Grand Ballroom that is located right below the chapel. Seamless transition from ceremony to reception. If you are looking for an all-in-one venue that is easily accessible, appropriately priced, with a staff that is immensely helpful (provided multiple rates, known vendors, and quick communication), the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel should be at the top of your list.

The venue did such a good job making sure all of our questions were answered and all of our needs were met. We were allowed to come see it multiple times with sometimes little to no warning, and they sent over photos and floor plans whenever we asked for them! It was so convenient to have the ceremony and reception at the same location, and the different venues were so seperate it felt like two different events. Awesome venue!

We immediately fell in love with Tybee Island Wedding Chapel. The pictures online as just as this space is in person - every part of the venue is beautiful! Alexis was wonderful to work with. We would 100% choose this place again and again.

Alexis was very helpful and answered all of my questions leading up to our big day. The venue was perfect and I will cherish having it in my memories of our special day.

The venue it self was amazing beautiful and worth the money but the service/ help I got from the lady supposedly in charge of my wedding was less than helpful. No help when goin through with vendors about best look or anything like that. The day of no help with chapel speaker system so were unable to use speakers and microphones , layout was not correct and no communication about making sure it was right before the day of. For the amount of money paid it was like I only paid for the space and nothing else.

Our wedding was on July 4th, 2021. We had Alexis Gillis help with everything about the Chapel. From the moment I saw the venue in May 2020, I fell in love with it. Everything is clean and well taken of. Their list of vendors was so useful for us since we leave 4.5 hours away from the venue. Alexis was on us through the entire process of organizing everything. She was always prompt in answering our emails. The venue is breathtaking and the staff is perfect!

This place has a wonderful fairytale-simple elegance feel to it!!! From the moment we saw the Chapel I knew I wanted this to be our venue site. I hoped my fiancé agreed!! Thank Goodness he loved it just as much as I did!!! Working with Alexis was so easy. The venue has a wonderful back drop for pictures and we heard all night how the guest "loved" that we had the Ceremony and Reception in the same spot!!! I can't wait to see all of our photos!!! Definitely recommend this venue!!!! So much love!!!

This venue was perfect for mine and my husbands vision of our wedding day! We loved the dark beams in the chapel and how everything was attached so there was no secondary location people had to travel to. The only downside we found was that the bar was in a separate room then the reception so people were all spaced out and would get caught up talking by the bar instead of the reception area but this is no fault of the venue just an issue we found. Great for cocktail hour! Alexis was so nice and awesome meeting all of our needs/questions. We would definitely choose this place again if we had the chance!

This venue really is as wonderful as all the reviews say. It's beautiful and the staff is wonderful. After two reschedules due to covid, the staff were so kind and encouraging to our family. They were genuinely cheering us on to make sure our daughter's wedding was everything she wanted.

We decided to have a destination in Savannah and my (now) husband was set on a venue within city limits. I found Tybee and he was reluctant but agreed to go tour it. As soon as we walked in, we both knew it was our venue, no hesitation! We loved the separation between the chapel and the ballroom, especially with the bar for cocktail hour. This gave our wedding a nice flow, without anyone getting "bored" of sitting in the same area for 6 hours. Other reviews have said it, but there was nothing really needed in the chapel to make it more special, it was breathtaking in its own right. The ballroom had the option of round or rectangular tables, which is actually something weird I was really passionate about wanting. The real small but amazing detail that I loved were the chairs. They are so much nicer than the plasticky chairs you get at most venues--there was no need for a chair cover! We worked with Melissa and she was so kind and helpful. Obviously we got married during COVID so there were many things up and down in the air and she was always so patient with any frantic questions or last minute changes. Our guest list started off 100+ but we ended up with 50 guests and the venue felt perfectly sized--not too empty, which I was worried about. There are a million things I am sure I am forgetting to highlight, but this was really the perfect venue and I could not be happier we chose it!!

This venue is beautiful! We went to quite a few venues and when we saw this one there was no question that this was the one! It is a place that needs very little to make the day beautiful and classic! I loved all the space and that it was all indoors. It is gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS! I couldn’t imagine a better venue!

I highly highly recommend the Tybee Wedding Chapel! We worked with Alexis for our wedding in March 2020. She was very helpful and worked with us to make our rehearsal and wedding day run as smoothly as possible. She was available for my constant questions and emailed back in a very timely manner. We absolutely love this venue and it is even more beautiful in person. The ceremony space is so gorgeous that it needs very minimal decorations and the ballroom is spacious and allows the perfect amount of room for all your guests to enjoy themselves.

We could not say one thing bad about the Chapel at all! Everyone we worked with was extremely accommodating & helpful during the whole process.

Beautiful! Still in love with the Chapel and the Grand Ballroom! Throughout the entire planning process, the entire staff was great! The day of the wedding, there was some disconnect. There was supposed to be a member of the chapel staff there for the actual event, and there was not. Unfortunately, we had some thunderstorms and we lost power at the chapel for a brief moment just before the ceremony began. Luckily, it came back on quickly, but it did blow a fuse to their projector screen. My planner had some difficulties getting in touch with the staff to get the problem resolved, and when they did send someone out, they were unable to fix it. This was not a major deal in the grand scheme of things, but I was disappointed that I was unable to play a slideshow I had created for my late father during my father-daughter dance. I understand the weather cannot be helped, but it would have been helpful if staff was present, or able to be reached easier, and my planner didn’t have to spend time trying to reach them. Otherwise, the venue itself is stunning and we still love the beauty it holds!

We absolutely fell in love with the chapel from the moment we first saw it (via FaceTime). Krystal understood we were a military couple trying to plan a wedding in GA all the way from CA and did everything to meet our needs. Halfway through our planning process with the chapel we then met Summer, who continued to help us out and answer literally every single question we had or could think of. As a bride, you worry that you are super annoying with your thousands of questions but Summer patiently helped us. She also let me call last minute during my bridal photoshoot and let me get my pictures done at the chapel (because it was pouring down rain & my outside pictures were not going to happen). I had sooooo many people the day of our wedding say “this is seriously the prettiest wedding I’ve ever been to”. It was a lot of money for us to fork out but we don’t regret getting married there! It’s so worth it! The only advice I’d have is to ask beforehand how to work the lights for the reception/dance floor because the chapel workers leave and the only person that is there that late is security and they didn’t know how to help us with the lights.

My husband and I just got married at Tybee Island Wedding Chapel last weekend and it was absolutely incredible. Our guest have not stopped talking about how much they enjoyed the wedding and how beautiful the venue was. The team there was so helpful during the planning process and made our wedding day everything we hoped it would be!

We could not have been happier with our decision to host our wedding and reception at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom in May of 2018. The staff was friendly, helpful, accommodating, responsive, and courteous. They made everything so easy on us! And the venue is absolutely gorgeous! It was a huge relief and super convenient to be able to have the wedding and reception in one place! Everything was perfect - not only for me and my wife, but also for our guests. Many of our guests are still raving that our wedding and reception was one of the most fun and beautiful that they have ever attended. We would HIGHLY recommend the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom to anyone getting married in the in the Savannah/Tybee area!

Fantastic venue! The staff was very laid back and easy to work with special requests. Both the chapel and ballroom were perfect for our wedding, very beautiful space.

From the very first email to the last communication, the staff was prompt, informed, professional, and pleasant. We had absolutely no issues and could not have asked for a better venue experience. The venue is stunning, and it is very convenient to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas all in one place. It is also great to have outdoor areas where guests can go to enjoy the nice weather. I worked mainly with Krystal, and she thoroughly answered every question I had leading up to the wedding day. She also made sure that every detail was taken care of to ensure that I could enjoy my day without any worries. I am not good at visualizing things; it's much easier for me to see things in person before I can make a decision. Krystal was very understanding of this and willingly met us at the chapel a few times to help me finalize my plans. She was also comforting and calm when the details started to become overwhelming. The only thing I would let other brides know is how the rehearsal can not be at the traditional time if a wedding is booked the day before yours. The rehearsal will have to be in the morning the day before. This did not pose any problems for me, but it might need to be taken into account if anyone in the bridal party will be traveling in. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff are at the Tybee Island Chapel and Wedding venue. Summer Fortner and the staff at the venue were incredible. From the very beginning to last minute changes, they were on top of things and so accommodating. My daughter and her husband had the wedding they desired. It was just so beautiful. We heard throughout the night how much the guests loved the venue. We are so happy that we chose this venue and would do it all over again!

Summer was always extremely helpful, communicative, and flexible in working with us for our special day. First, she gave us a military discount. We did not ask for this, but she saw that Kylee had posted a picture of Edward in uniform at a friends wedding. Second, Summer gave us additional time based off of our needs for the ceremony and reception. We had a small wedding party and did not need a rehearsal, but we did need additional time for one of our separate vendors. Summer gave us a free hour to replace the free hour we would have used for a rehearsal. Third, we did not have the luxury of seeing the venue before booking but it was everything that we imagined. We were able to make a quick walkthrough two days before the ceremony when we arrived in town (Thanks again, Summer) and we would recommend it to family or friends. Fourth, so many reputable vendors in the Savannah/Tybee area have worked there before. Every vendor says that they love working in this venue and it speaks to Summer's communication and work. You will not regret in booking the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel for your perfect day.

I wouldn’t want to be married anywhere else. This chapel has always been my dream. The entire location is gorgeous, every corner is a perfect spot for photos, video, hanging out with friends/family, and just celebrating the big day. It’s a little pricey but it’s all about the location and in the south this is a pretty average price for an above average wedding. They were very helpful and suggested great vendors.

My wife found the venue through some internet searching and it was the first venue we visited. After seeing the beauty of the chapel and amazing ballroom, it ended up being the only place we visited. Krystal was hands on with us throughout the whole process and always met our questions with patience and graciousness. We could not have done this wedding without this venue and the amazing help of Krystal. She was able to provide feedback on our vendors, give us ideas on how to make the venue unique for our day and always was willing to be flexible on our requests. My wife had a wonderful vision and this venue allowed all that to happen. Our guests and family loved every minute of their experience here. Not even sure where to begin my review about this venue and their incredible staff (especially Krystal). To say words like amazing, professional, organized, accommodating, etc... doesn't even come CLOSE to describing our experience with them. From the very beginning planning stages until well after my wedding (yes, I keep in touch with them - they are like family now), Tybee Island Wedding Chapel & Grand Ballroom has been nothing short of AMAZING! Every email I sent (and I sent plenty of them) was responded to in record time (including nights and weekends)... I almost couldn't keep up with the responses! :) Every phone call and question was answered, and no detail was left untouched because of them! Including the reminders they sent me the weeks leading up to my wedding. The venue itself is just as breathtaking in person as it is in the photos. The Chapel & Grand Ballroom was the first and only venue visit we ever did - we just knew this was the place (and these were the people) for us. As soon as we signed our contract, the venue provided a list of preferred vendors who treated us like royalty when we said we were getting married at Tybee Wedding Chapel. Their reputation in Tybee Island/Savannah is great - they are highly respected. They also give recommendations and discounts for local hotels and homes in which you can rent during your stay! If you're looking for a beautiful, accommodating venue with professional, kind, helpful staff... and everything in one place (ceremony, reception, bridal suite, grooms quarter, etc.) - this is the venue for you! Every time I look at our wedding photos, or see a social media post from the Chapel, I wish my husband and I could re-live our wedding at the wedding chapel every year! It was the best day and night of our lives! We could never thank the Chapel enough for everything they did for us! PS - There are a lot more personal touches I could tell you about, BUT I don't want to give away ALL of the Wedding Chapel's secrets. Our decision to choose Tybee Island Wedding Chapel as our destination wedding venue was the best decision we could have made! The venue is beautiful, romantic, and all-inclusive (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). The chapel is so unique and beautiful, we didn't need to add a single decoration. Ray, Carla, and Summer were so easy to work with from the moment we contacted them for a tour. They were responsive, friendly, and did everything they could to make our wedding day stress free. Our guests continue to tell us that our wedding is one of the best they have ever been to. As a bonus, the venue is close enough to North Beach that you can take photos there during the cocktail hour and still get back in time for the reception! The venue is perfect and I 110% recommend Tybee Chapel.

My experience with the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom was amazing! My daughter had her heart set on getting married on Tybee Island and thanks to this facility, she was able to have the wedding of her dreams!! From the moment of our first tour of the venue to the day of the wedding, the staff (namely Krystal) went out of her way to help us every step of the way! It was awesome to hear our guests at the wedding talk about how wonderful the venue was....everyone really liked that the wedding and reception were at the same place! We had 175 guests with a seated dinner and still had plenty of room for a large dance floor!! Again, I cannot thank the staff enough for all the help along the way...they were amazing!!

The Best Ever!!! From start to finish, everyone at the Tybee Wedding Chapel was AMAZING to work with. Krystal was so attentive to all the emails I sent, and never made me feel like I was being a bother. Not to mention how GORGEOUS the venue itself is! I had so many people tell me how beautiful my wedding ceremony was, and that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to!

All of the staff at the wedding chapel are so easy to work with, cheerful and helpful. They made my choice of venue very simple. Krystal is a superstar and answered any of my questions with lightning speed and was generally thoughtful and so sweet. I'm honestly sad our wedding is over because I won't be able to talk to her anymore. She and her team made everything so easy and our wedding went so smoothly. Southern hospitality at its finest. They really treat you like you are their first bride, even though they have SO many (and for good reason).

Anne J. Tybee Chapel gets a '10' out of a 5 star rating due to the fact that the building is beautiful, the grounds immaculate, and Crystal is BETTER than the BEST! Having the wedding and reception all in one place is also a plus. No matter what issues presented themselves, Crystal was always there with a composed, calm manner, positive attitude, and cheerful smile. Nothing was too big for her to handle - never complaining, endless energy, totally professional - focused on making you have the best day of your life. After having looked at several venues in the Savannah area, Tybee Island Chapel is by far the best choice. Our families were very fortunate to have met and worked with Crystal at the beautiful Tybee Chapel.

My husband and I are so excited to have finally joined the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel family after having been married at the venue earlier this month. However, Krystal and the other staff at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Ocean Front Cottage Rentals have made sure we have felt like family all along. Our families utilized Ocean Front Cottage Rentals to rent out several homes on the same street in the neighborhood across from the chapel. The customer service was exceptional, when we encountered an issue with the air conditioning in one of the properties, the staff went above and beyond after hours to provide a multitude of options to ensure we were 100% comfortable and content during our stay. It was a blast being so close to the venue and one another, and the rental company offers some really great deals if you are also utilizing the venue. Finally, I could never put into words how thankful I am to have had such a well organized and knowledgeable wedding point of contact at the Tybee Island Chapel. After signing our contract, Krystal provided us with a recommended vendor list, consisting of vendors that had worked at the chapel before and had done a quality job. This list was so helpful and we used it as a great jump off point to find our amazing Wedding Planner at Design Studio South. We would have never known where to start without it. If you are in the market for a venue that will ensure a stress free and seamless wedding that is all encompassing of a beautiful ceremony space and reception hall conveniently located on the same grounds- Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is the perfect choice.

My husband and I live in NY and were in search for the perfect, charming, and romantic venue for our 80 guest destination wedding. We searched all over Savannah setting up tours/meetings but didn't find everything we were looking for until our last tour at Tybee Island Wedding Chapel & Grand Ballroom. First of all, the drive from Savannah to the island is so beautiful and serene. The grounds are kept in the best shape and the staff are by far the friendliest! Krystal is an absolute gem! The level of professionalism and hospitality that she and the other staff provide is why I give this venue 5 stars! It can be challenging enough planning a destination wedding, but working with Krystal made my job that much easier. I'm so glad we chose Tybee and our wedding was an absolute dream!

Krystal with the Wedding Chapel helped make our wedding day the best day ever. She was always available to help answer any questions we had. She also helped give recommendation and insight on how to set things up and for everything to go smoothly on the day of. We loved the beauty of the Chapel, and the fact that it is an inside-everything-can-be-held-there venue. I am the Mother of the bride. Honestly, Tybee Wedding Chapel exceeded my expectations. Krystal and Carla helped me through the entire wedding planning process. They have great relationships with vendors and step up wherever they are needed. We looked all over Savannah for a venue. Everything was extra. This venue provides a lot for the money. Morgan and Rob’s wedding was beautiful in the Chapel and their reception was perfect in the ballroom. Thank you to Tybee Chapel for théir professionalism and patience!!!

Overall was great, but 12 hours is not long enough to rehearse, decorate, and finally clear away. Different packages could be offered to accommodate different needs!

Amazing! I could not have been happier with the venue itself or the people who work there. They were so helpful, kind, accommodating, and sincerely enthusiastic. It really made the day special to have people who are so meticulously involved with the details to make your wedding perfect. By the wedding day I would have sworn Krystal was a member of the wedding party, with how much time and effort she put into our wedding day. The grounds themselves are immaculate and well tended to. With how beautiful the entire chapel and ballroom are on their own right, decorating was a breeze. The convenience was also perfect, having the ceremony, cocktail hour, photos, and reception all in one central location. That and wedding's are certainly their business and they know it well. With so many details, Krystal was always willing to help and give her experience to help things flow perfectly. Could not be happier that we got married there!

The Chapel is well worth the money! It was very important to us to have a convenient venue for our guests, and it worked perfectly. People are still raving about how beautiful the venue was, and how nice it was to go from the ceremony just a few steps down to the reception. Carla was incredible throughout the entire planning process and made sure our day went off without any issues. This place is a well-oiled machine, and that is what you want on your wedding day! Plus, it's gorgeous and makes for incredible pictures. Highly highly recommend for any Tybee brides!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is the perfect venue for a wedding in Tybee Island, GA! Not right on the beach, but close enough to give you that beach feeling. The staff (Carla and Ray) and very helpful and accessible, helping answer questions and make awesome suggestions. Would definitely recommend!

This venue was absolutely a fairytale. It's location was absolutely perfect and my guest loved being in Tybee Island. The ballroom was perfect for the reception and definitely big enough.

I couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Tybee Island as our destination wedding venue. I wanted a beautiful venue where we could have the ceremony, reception and cocktail hour all in the same place and indoors. I started planning our destination wedding 3 years before our wedding day (engaged for 5 years). I saw a picture of the chapel on Pinterest and fell in love! We reached out and immediately made and appointment. We were not disappointed! The chapel is even more beautiful in real life. The staff at the chapel was wonderful! Our contact person, Ray, was awesome at keeping in touch with me. The staff was very accommodating to us and let us make several appointments to come back and look around. It was the perfect place for our wedding!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom! My husband and I booked the venue based on pictures and reviews alone for our destination wedding and didn't see the space in person until the day before - we were NOT disappointed. The entire space is gorgeous and Carla was such a pleasure to work with during planning. We received SO many compliments throughout the night about how amazing the venue was. I wish I could do it all over again!

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel is BREATHTAKING. It is even prettier in person. I live in WV & had a destination wedding on March 26, 2017. I had never seen the chapel in person until the day of our wedding. When I walked into the chapel, I could not believe the beauty & details of this place.
