I cannot recommend Tyler (and her team) enough! From start to finish, she has been the easiest person to work with. Every interaction was a like a breath of fresh air among all the stress that can come with planning a wedding. First, she’s attentive and flexible. During the planning process, every text/e-mail/phone call was responded to within a day, if not sooner. She was there for me whenever I needed anything (photography-related or even just general wedding questions)! On the day of, she easily adapted to those pesky last-minute changes. Also, her process is very thorough. She’s thought of it all. I didn’t once worry that something was going to be missed. She had questionnaires, checklists and reminders in the days/weeks leading up to our wedding, which totally took the burden off of me and was a huge help! Best of all, she actually, truly cares about her couples! She took the time to get to know us, to understand what was most important to us on our wedding day, and how we wanted it captured in the photos. And she captured it all beautifully! We couldn’t be happier with our photos, and can’t wait to work with Tyler again!

Don’t hesitate, working with Tyler is an absolute dream! Tyler is not only extremely outgoing and personable, but she truly cares about you as a couple and goes out of her way to personalize the experience from start to finish. Working with her for almost 3 years (due to Covid postponements), my husband and I really got to know the amazing person that she is. Seven months before our wedding, we moved across the country and were extremely stressed trying to plan our wedding after uprooting our lives and trying to get settled. On top of that, we had 2 vendors back out and I was panicked. I knew that I could email Tyler and she would save the day (once again!). She emailed me back within an hour and had a full LIST of vendors that she’s worked with and vetted. This shows the type of person she is; she goes above and beyond because she cares about helping people and making sure the couple gets their perfect day. Tyler is incredibly organized, hardworking, and goes the extra mile to get the perfect shot (on our wedding day, I saw her climbing onto a ledge to get the perfect photo of my dress-now that’s dedication). It’s so important to have a photographer that you are comfortable with, and Tyler makes it so effortless. We never had professional photos taken before our engagement session with her, but she created such a fun and laid-back atmosphere that it felt so natural and fun. On our wedding day, Tyler made all of the bridesmaids and MOB/MOG so comfortable and created such a positive environment that we were truly able to just enjoy the getting ready process and have zero stress. After the wedding, our friends and family said that our photos looked like they were from a magazine and that they were the most beautiful wedding photos they had ever seen. We are still trying to narrow down which photos to frame, as all of them are gorgeous! If you've seen her photographs online, you already know how uniquely talented Tyler is. What you may not know, though, is that she's an even better human who brings exactly the type of calming yet confident energy that you want surrounding you on your wedding day. We had a terrible experience with our first photographer, then with the pandemic our wedding date changed and our second photographer wasn't available for the new date. It was so amazing when we found Tyler. It was meant to be! With the pandemic we decided to have a small ceremony in our backyard. We then had a baby and Tyler has been with us through these Amazing milestones and captured them all! Finally our big day came around and our wedding photos turned out even more gorgeous than I could have possibly imagined. It's hard to convey in words how Special these photos are. Even in the sneak peeks, the images captured the vibe of the day and our love so well, I feel like I'm back on the day of our wedding every time I look at them. Then there is Tyler herself. It meant so much to me to be surrounded by vendors who felt like friends and whose vibes were calming and positive amidst the chaos. Even being pregnant in the heat, she killed it! She was so open with us and accommodating! So many of our friends and family commented on how much they loved her. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tyler and her team to anyone looking for a wedding/family photographer. She is a true gem and you won't regret it! JUST GO FOR IT! Tyler was superb from the very start. She knows what she's doing and she is so professional. Every detail she needs is timed perfectly and effortlessly. Photo team was the one vendor I didn't have to worry about, they had it handled. We worked with Becca & Cristeal day of and we LOVED them, honestly they felt like friends by the end of the day that I wanted them to stay and enjoy the reception. Tyler was amazing to work with from start to finish, we did our engagement shoot with her and when we needed to change our package after some big changes to our day she really worked with us. We felt very comfortable with Tyler and so did our family and friends, she's great at making everyone comfortable and being present when we wanted a photo and taking fun shots of family and friends when we were busy with guests. In 2019, my fiance hired Tyler to shoot our engagement as complete surprise to me. As someone who doesn't always feel comfortable or confident getting their photos taken, Tyler radiated this positive and warm energy that immediately put both myself and my fiance at ease. We knew we were in good hands. Tyler was able to make us appear comfortable and natural in every single photo. I instantly knew from that moment on that I wanted to hire Tyler for our wedding. When we got the photos back we were in COMPLETE awe. They were so so so beautiful and both my fiance and I had tears instantly. She was so quick to get them back to us that we even got a few sneak peeks at our engagement dinner that same night. We were able to share them with our closest family and friends and all had the same reaction. Tears. In 2019 when we booked with Tyler for our 2021 wedding, we never even imagined that we would have to face a postponement due to COVID. Tyler immediately let us secure a new date and didn't even question it. Knowing that she was willing to accommodate and work with us took away a lot of our stress and disappointment of having to move our wedding day. (She was the #1 vendor we couldn't imagine loosing). We are so excited to FINALLY have Tyler shoot our wedding in just two months. I could cry thinking of the photos she will capture already. All of our future milestones... there will be no one else we turn to to capture them.

ahhh!! Didn’t get to work with Tyler personally but she edited all our photos and was our point of contact. Let me just say, she is ON TOP OF IT. Someone who works full time,moving, has a 2 year old and in a pandemic and she made this whole photo process a piece of cake. She gave us advice, places to go to, where to take our pics etc. The turn around time to receive the engagement/ and wedding photos was literally a blink. She kept in contact the entire time and would deliver right when she said she would. As stressful as the process was planning, she made things very at ease and my husband calm. Becca was our photographer she referred us to on our team, she was great, my husband absolutely hates taking photos and she made him feel so comfortable during the shoot and for the wedding , even though as I hear from most couple bickering and fighting on the way to photos is pretty common, she still made us feel amazing and we loved the way the photos turned out 😂 As a team they are absolutely amazing and if you’re looking for an amazing wedding photographer who is extremely persistent, patience, thoughtful and so kind Tylerchasecollective is your team! I work as a makeup artist in the field, and her work stood out to me from the beginning, I’m so happy I got to work with her and hope to work with her again! Ps. Tyler is absolutely the best photographer we could have hired for our wedding, she was fantastic to work with!! She definitely felt like a friend through the process and not just a vendor we were working with. She was so helpful in answering all of my questions, even ones not at all related to the photos. It was so comforting knowing I had someone else to bounce ideas off of when need be. If you have seen the episode of Friends where Chandler can't smile in photos, that pretty much sums up my husband who is NOT a fan of being photographed. However, Tyler made everything so easy, fun, and natural he ended up loving it! All of our photos from both the wedding and engagement session really capture our personalities, the emotion of the day, and feel so natural and not at all posed. Tyler had the best prompts to get us laughing and moving in a way that felt natural, and she talked us through everything so clearly it was easy to take instruction and help us both feel comfortable. The quality of the photos Tyler captured is incredible. Her editing is beautiful and I can feel the warmth of that summer day whenever I look through the album! On top of the amazing work she did, she turned the entire album around in what must be record time. She works so fast! I could really tell how passionate Tyler is about what she does, and that totally comes through in her beautiful photos. We live on the east coast now, but hope to work with Tyler for photos again in the future one day!

Working with Tyler is a dream. She’s not only the biggest sweetheart but also extremely efficient, quick to reply and can we talk about how insanely talented she is??? OOOOMMMMGGGGGGG. Tyler was made to be a photographer. She captures the BEST, candid shots and her editing style is so damn dreamy. We were so happy with our engagement photos but when we got our wedding photos back, oh my gosh… we were in awe! She was able to capture the day perfectly! She’s also such great company. You don’t want to hire a photographer who is stiff, boring or awkward. Tyler feels like a friend from years ago. I remember specifically when we were taking family photos on wedding day, she easily put everyone at ease. Tyler is a natural. She’s warm, inviting, and has the biggest heart. So get this! Tyler sent us a sneak peek two days after the wedding! TWO DAYS! Who does that? And the sneak peek didn’t just include a few photos. I’m going to guess we got about 100 photos back. Tyler is FANTASTIC. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and was so helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process. She graciously did two engagement sessions for us (on separate days so that we could do a location that allowed dogs), my boudoir session (HIGHLY recommend doing one!), and our wedding photos. Her work is absolutely amazing. I have received SO many compliments on all of the pictures! During all of our sessions, Tyler made us feel extremely comfortable. My husband hates pictures, and I was (initially) nervous about the sessions, but she directed us and told us exactly what to do and it was so much fun! All of the pictures were amazing! (Not to mention the unreal quick turnaround time of her editing the hundreds of pictures that she takes!) Our entire wedding party raved about how great she was during the wedding day. Tyler basically doubled as our wedding coordinator (on top of being our photographer). The vendor we hired to be the day-of coordinator ended up being very disappointing and Tyler was extremely helpful in filling in for all the areas that my day-of coordinator lacked. She helped answer everyone’s questions when my coordinator was MIA, she knew the order of events like the back of her hand, and she made the day run smoothly. Not sure what we would have done without her! Look no further in your photographer search because Tyler is hands down THE BEST photographer!

Tyler is the absolutely best! Not only is she amazing at what she does but she is so sweet and fun to be around (super important.. as you spend so much time with your photographer on your wedding day). She is so calming and made us so comfortable during the photo process. She is also the worlds fastest editor! I don't know how she does it but she's amazing! She knows how excited you are to get your wedding photos.. she sent us so many photos just a few days after our wedding and the rest of them within the week. We couldn't believe how quick (and amazing) they were. Tyler also helped us so much with the overall wedding process and was so kind about moving our date (and then a 2nd time) during the pandemic. I could write 10 pages about how great of experience we had! She's seriously the best of the best. Thank you so much for everything Tyler!

This review has taken me a minute to write because I am still in awe of all of our photos. I could write pages about how kind and sweet Tyler was to us as a couple. From our first phone call with Tyler we new she would be the perfect person to capture our day. When Covid happened she was there every step of the way. My fiancé and I would tag her in photos or memes and she always responded to us. It was like having our best friend capture our day. Not only did she create the perfect mermaid engagement shoot but she also took my boudoir pictures. I felt so comfortable and confident with her. She understood what angles I liked. My boudoir shoot was something I was so excited to take and she made all of my ideas into a reality. Not only did I feel sexy and confident but my fiance absolutely LOVES the photos of me. It was a really special time with Tyler because she got to also be there to photograph his reaction to the pictures. I really wanted her to just hang with us at our wedding because she is so fun. I have dreamed about my wedding photos my entire life and they really were my dream come true. She really understood Tyler (also my husbands name) and I and you can see the connection between us in her photos. I felt like a real princess that day. Tyler is complimentary, available, and extremely talented. More than that, Tyler has become a friend and a new family photographer for life. We are so appreciative of her support and love during Covid and the hundreds of DM's and messages we sent to her. I can't wait to hang all of these photos up in our home and look and post them for the rest of our lives. When the day goes by so quickly we have these photos to remind us of our love. Tyler is a fantastic photographer and a calming presence. While our wedding has not yet happened due to the pandemic, Tyler has navigated this chaotic time with such compassion. We’ve been so grateful for how supportive she’s been as we’ve had to reschedule our big day. She was immediately on board with accommodating the changes we needed to make. Her willingness and understanding gave us so much peace of mind. We were also able to do our engagement session with Tyler well before the pandemic and that was a blast. I seriously do not have the words to adequately express our gratitude for Tyler! Due to COVID-19, our wedding was rescheduled twice from 2020, to 2021, to now 2022. This was honestly heartbreaking for me and my fiancé. Tyler proactively reached out to us (before we even told her we rescheduled the first time) and asked if there was anything she could do for us and was just her incredibly sweet and empathetic self! She truly went above and beyond, understanding the difficulty of our situation and easing any stresses by being so wonderfully accommodating and helpful. Our wedding is a destination wedding, so we didn't have any idea where to start looking for other vendors. Tyler was able to recommend an amazing hair/makeup team and videographers, which made our job so much easier. We booked both based off of her recommendations and are thrilled with them! After speaking with 8 different photographers, I honestly had no hesitation to book Tyler; she was BY FAR our first choice. On our initial call, she immediately made me feel like a good friend and was so genuinely interested in our story and all things wedding. Booking Tyler is hands down the best decision we made in our wedding planning process!!!! My fiancé and I were lucky enough to get to work with Tyler through our entire planning process… from proposal photos to two postponed wedding dates… Tyler has gone above and beyond photography to help with planning advice, walk thrus, timelines, and more! She really is as lovely as her photos as we navigated planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic. She's an amazing photographer and editor... and gets down to the nitty gritty... fixing a tiny hair sticking up on your head. My fiancé and cringed at the thought of taking professional photos but Tyler made us feel so comfortable and is such a joy to be around... she makes the process fun! We are so excited to have her be a part of our wedding day and we are so thankful to have found her.

Tyler has been a dream to work with! Not just as an amazing photographer (which she is), but as a vendor in general. Wedding planning is not easy, and as a bride, I feel so lucky to have her as part of this process! Short version: she's easy going/flexible but not flaky; she's professional but not too stuffy; and she's great at understanding our vision and capturing photos that bring it to life. Long version: Because of Covid, we had to reschedule our wedding 14 months after our original date and now on a holiday weekend. Tyler was patient as we went back and forth on rescheduling. When we finally made the decision, she couldn't have been sweeter. She was more worried about how we were feeling about having to delay everything, and couldn't care less about the impact it had on her. It was such a relief during a disappointing and chaotic time. She's also great under pressure. Our engagement shoot could've been awful, but Tyler was so nimble, patient and positive that it turned out amazing! We originally planned to shoot at 2 locations (golf course and beach). When the day came, there was a major heatwave which made it too hot to shoot at the golf course and our beach location was packed with people! We had to quickly pivot and find a different location nearby. Nothing was going as we planned, but Tyler somehow made us forget the frustrations, she set a great vibe, and was able to capture genuine engagement bliss. My family and friends can't stop raving about the photos! Speaking of friends -- I recently helped my best friend's fiance plan his surprise proposal and suggested Tyler as the photographer. He told me the prep call with her gave him so much confidence going into such a nerve-wracking moment. Tyler made sure to coach him on little things that he wouldn't have ever thought about that can make or break surprise proposal photos. Their pictures were incredible!

Tyler is absolutely amazing! My fiance and I hired her last year for our November 2020 wedding (which didn't happen, womp womp). But in March 2020, Tyler took the most beautiful engagement photos that I'm totally in love with. I cannot wait to have her photograph our October 2021 wedding. She makes you feel so comfortable and not at all like you're posing for photos--it was so helpful to have her direction to make everything look natural. When we decided to postpone our wedding, Tyler was so supportive and responsive. She really made the decision so much easier. I would highly, highly recommend Tyler to anyone who wants a total pro.

Tyler is truly the best! Not only is so she super talented but she really goes above and beyond. We had to postpone our wedding and decided to still have a little ceremony to honor our original date and Tyler was so accommodating and helpful. She was always available when I texted and got back to me right away. Through all of the uncertainty of the pandemic, it was really nice to know she was a vendor I could get advice from and bounce ideas off of. On our mini ceremony day she came prepared as if it was our big wedding day and even though it was a small group (trying to follow covid rules), she was calm, organized and was respectful of everyone distance. The photos turned out AMAZING and I'm so glad we were still were able to capture our day! My family is still commenting on the gorgeous photos. She thought of things we didn't and made us feel comfortable the whole evening. I would definitely recommend Tyler for any type of shoot. She really is a pro on all levels! Can't wait for our larger reception this year!

Tyler is the ultimate rockstar: organized, beyond gracious/ kind, replies at lightning speed (not normal for most wedding vendors), and oh so talented! We were originally going to get married in 2020 but of course, Covid hit and we had to reschedule. Tyler was so easy to work with when it came time to picking a new 2021 wedding date which was a huge relief. Rescheduling a wedding is stressful enough so it was nice to have Tyler as a breathe of fresh air. Tyler's personality cannot be beat. You immediately feel like you've been friends for years. She's warm, patient, fun, thoughtful, attentive and detailed. Going back to her talent - OMG! Go to her Instagram and check out her perfectly, gorgeous photos. Tyler was absolutely enchanting when I first met her. She truly lives up to the energy that everybody raves about in her reviews. She was so helpful with my outfits for the photoshoot, went out of her way to make arrangements when I got our shoot date mixed up, and did her best to work with the budget that I had. All these that I am extremely grateful for. I really thought we were in the right hands with Tyler. That is until I gave her feedback on our engagement photos. We took our photos on a Wednesday evening and my photos were delivered to me on Friday morning. I was very surprised by the fast turnaround time given that per her Instagram stories, she had done another shoot on Thursday. While scrolling through the album, I felt like the quick turnaround time definitely reflected on the quality of my photos, it felt like a generic filter was just copied and pasted to my photos. While she did do edits, there were photos where my skin looked completely orange! Additionally, my photos for my first location were nothing like I had wanted. My fiance and I got on the phone to express our thoughts on the quality of the edits and the miscommunication with the first location. She immediately started to defend herself, insisting that this was her style and that I was not clear enough with what I wanted. She didn't bother asking me which photos I was unhappy with or offer any sort of color correction. Instead, she started crying to me on the phone. I was disappointed by how unprofessional this was and that it was somehow my fault for being unhappy with the results. We asked for a prorated refund even though we had 0 plans to use these photos and eventually ended up retaking our engagement photos. Tyler agreed to give us our money back if she books somebody else on our date but I later found out that Tyler was not booking any sessions on our date and had been referring clients to her assistant photographers. I immediately confronted her about this and admitted that she had planned to take maternity leave and had been referring all her clients around the time frame, including couples who have reached out on our specific wedding date, to her assistant photographers which she insisted are "part of her name". While I am excited and happy for her growing family and do not find any wrong in somebody taking maternity leave, I felt like there was a huge lack of dishonesty behind this whole process. I tried to talk this through with Tyler as rationally as possible and that I did not want to leave these on a bad note and resort to just writing up a review out of anger. She then accused me of "threatening her" which I thought was an extreme accusation given that my intention was just to talk things through. She offered a photobook as compensation but then later got upset and took it off the table.  I absolutely adored Tyler when I first met her and actually wanted to book her before I even found my venue, so I was very disappointed and upset by how unprofessional and dishonest she was with me.  I want to make it clear that it is not my intention to defame anybody. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of reviews for a business and I was struggling for the longest time if I should even write this review. However, as a bride myself, my only hope is that this review will help out other brides to avoid the unfortunate situation that I was put in. Tyler was a great experience for me, but she completely changed the moment I gave her feedback.

I can't say enough good things about Tyler! Ever since it became clear our wedding wouldn't be able to take place on the original date because of COVID-19, Tyler has been a godsend helping us navigate the twist and turns of the situation. Tyler doesn't treat her clients as just a means to an end. She is so empathetic and is such a breath of fresh air. There is no need to look any further for a photographer...Tyler is simply INCREDIBLE! From the moment we met Tyler to our wedding day, she was there every step of the way. Tyler answered every text, even when they had nothing to do with photography, to help us have our magical day. Fast forward to the pandemic and Tyler was the first vendor I turned to. While I felt every emotion, Tyler remained calm always providing new suggestions. We ultimately decided to shift from a large wedding to an elopement with family only. Tyler made it feel just as special. Not only did she handle the photography, she graciously stepped in to help build a day-of timeline to ease the stress. Less than 24-hours after our wedding, Tyler was sharing sneak peeks and let me just say...They are out of this world...AMAZING. Our photos are more than we could have ever dreamt of and memories we can share with our grandparents who couldn’t be there this year. The pictures make you feel as if you were there feeling every emotion with us. My husband and I aren’t the best in front of a camera and she made it feel SO natural...making us laugh every step of the way. I have found a photographer I hope to use for every big milestone. I promise Tyler is the best photographer you will find!

I was very excited to use Tyler for our daughters wedding because of her beautiful work. In these crazy unprecedented times you also see someone’s character. When we had to make the painful decision to postpone the wedding due to the Coronavirus, she made it as easy as possible. I called her , she immediately answered ( Friday after business hours ) , put the new date down to amend the contract. Was professional, sympathetic and calm. All very much appreciated in these trying times. The engagement pictures are gorgeous , can’t wait for the wedding pictures!

We loved working with Tyler during our engagement shoot! We had never done a real photo shoot before but she guided us with great poses and tips/tricks. Tyler was also so professional and friendly. We really liked that she embraced playful pictures! She is also a great communicator in person and through the phone; she was always quick to respond and flexible with us. I knew I had to have Tyler as my wedding photographer the moment I saw her photos. In fact, as we were looking dates for our wedding, we would text her to make sure she was available those dates and she would always text back immediately. Tyler is very professional, punctual, genuine, and so fun to work with. She responds to emails SO quickly and is patient to answer every question in detail. Getting married can be stressful at times and Tyler relieved so much of my stress. Not only is she a recent bride herself, but she has photographed countless weddings and knows EVERYTHING about weddings. She has the best advice from knowledge about the sun, tips about the color of the DJs up lights (so they don’t mess with the color of your photos), to recommendations about adjustments to your wedding timeline that will make your wedding day run smoother. She is truly an expert wedding photographer (and bonus addition to your wedding planning team). During engagement photos, she knows how to make you laugh and look natural and get the best shots. During wedding photos, she is efficient (so important on your wedding day!) and captures every single perfect moment, even the moments you didn’t realize you wanted captured! She is genuine and invests herself in her couples and takes the time to get to know you. This is reflected in all her photos. The morning after our wedding, we had a sneak peek gallery waiting for us displaying some of our gorgeous wedding photos. I was shocked that I had professional wedding photos to share the NEXT day! Two months after our wedding, we received a surprise gift in the mail. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but to say I was blown away with her thoughtfulness is an understatement! I will hire Tyler for every future event I need a photographer for! I HIGHLY recommend her!!! Thank you for making our wedding memories perfect. We love you!

My husband and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Tyler and our experience with her! I discovered her on Instagram and quickly fell in love with her photos. When it came time for us to book a photographer she was the only person we reached out and hired her for our engagement and wedding day. Going into our engagement photos we had no idea what to expect – how awkward would it be on the beach with strangers, walking through a field with hikers around, etc. The moment we met Tyler there was an immediate sense of comfort. She is so friendly and professional. She keeps the conversation flowing so you forget there are people around you and has fun creative ways to get the perfect photo without it looking forced (aka wiggle like jello). For our wedding day she was incredible! Our wedding party and parents have all told us how great she was during photos – keeping it fun, quick and professional. Something we didn’t think about prior to getting married is most of your day is spent with your photographer by your side which makes it so important to trust and be comfortable with them. Tyler is not only fun and easy to get along with, but calming. Your wedding day is filled with such a broad range of emotions from stress to so much excitement that she made me feel at ease throughout the day. That in turn put everyone else around my husband and I at ease. We’ve received several comments about how relaxed my husband and I seemed on our wedding day which I think Tyler played a big part in. Following our Saturday wedding, we received our sneak peak on Tuesday morning and were blown away by all of the pictures. To receive them that quickly was amazing!! My husband and I could not recommend Tyler more and feel so lucky that she was our photographer!!

My husband and I had such an easy wedding planning process, except for agreeing on a photographer! We searched high and low and interviewed so many photographers and couldn’t agree on style UNTIL we saw Tyler’s work!! Then meeting her, it was like all our dreams were coming true! We met Tyler for an initial interview and absolutely fell in love with her! She eased our minds and seriously, we felt like we had known her forever, after just one meal! My husband and I knew we found the one right then and there and she did not disappoint!! Tyler was a dream to work with on every step of the crazy wedding process. She was there to answer every question, ensure we had everything, attended wedding meetings with us, and on the day of, got every shot we ever thought of, plus more! Tyler went above and beyond for us! After taking all our sunset photos, and during her 15 minutes to get some food in her stomach, a magical rainbow appeared. Tyler literally stopped eating, jumped over bushes and redid ALL our sunset photos to capture the rainbow! She never got to finish her food as the party then started! Not to mention, her turn around time in receiving the photos is incredible!! We received our ENTIRE wedding album while still on our honeymoon and she gave us both sets of sunset photos! Talk about her hard work and dedication to making brides feel so important and make their dreams come true! Tyler was an absolute PLEASURE to work with from day one! She is professional, kind, directive and extraordinarily responsive & punctual. In this crazy wedding industry its rare to find a vendor you feel you can completely trust, but Tyler gave me total peace of mind throughout the whole planning process and her work did not disappoint one bit! I initially discovered Tyler’s photography on my wedding venue’s insta page. I loved how creatively she used the space in her photos and loved her light & airy vibe, so I reached out. From the first time I spoke with Tyler, I was sold by her positive attitude and sweet personality. If your partner is anything like my husband (so camera shy it took a solid 6 months to get our first couple photo) Tyler is your girl! My husband admits he generally doesn’t take direction well from most people ha (and as mentioned hates being in photos) so I knew it would be a struggle to have a photographer tell him to strike a pose, but all that seriously went out the window with Tyler! 2 minutes into our engagement shoot and the guy is eskimo kissing me on command?!! That is a skill that can not be learned! Tyler just has such a warm and easy going personality, it totally opened up the door for us to step outside our comfort zone! From one engagement session we walked away with more frame-able photos than an entire 8 year relationship! Tyler consistently went above and beyond our expectations of a wedding photographer. I would sit around for days waiting for other vendors to reply to emails, meanwhile Tyler replies same day, or the very next day with “sorry for my late reply”! If only all vendors were this responsive! On the wedding day itself Tyler was super amazing at coordinating where we needed to be and when, and even went out of her way to help me deal with my makeup fiasco (I hated my overdone makeup look) - offering me constructive advice and even her own personal eyeshadow to help cover up/improve it! Also, lets talk for a second about the photos themselves- not only are they absolutely STUNNING and more than we could have ever asked for, but they arrived INSANELY SOON! While our friends who were married a month before us are still waiting on their sneak peaks, we have our FULL ALBUM just 2 weeks after our wedding! Something I respect so much about the way Tyler runs her business, is she never promises unrealistic deadlines - rather, she would tell us a realistic time frame (which was still relatively impressive), and then exceed our expectations by sending them over much sooner when possible. For example, she sent our full engagement session album the VERY NEXT DAY, although we were given a very fair expectation of 1-2 weeks (which we would have been perfectly happy with)! Thank you Tyler for being such a joy to work with! We will absolutely hire you again for any future photography needs and we HIGHLY recommend you to all our friends and family! :)

Where do I even start? I found Tyler through IG and from our initial conversations together, we totally vibed! We live in Northern California and went back and forth a few times about whether or not to go down to SoCal for our engagement photos but Tyler made the choice easy for us and offered to fly up (not to mention...fly back home the SAME day after our shoot)! When we met Tyler in Half Moon Bay, she was just the absolute sweetest and completely made us feel at ease the whole time. Our favorite thing about Tyler was that she never made us feel like we were just taking photos - she made the whole experience feel like my fiance and I were just having fun and strolling on the beach. At the end of our shoot, my fiance (who was so nervous to take photos from the start) was wishing that we could take photos for longer! Tyler's turnaround time for her photos were so quick and not to mention, they were so amazing to look at - we could not believe how beautiful all our shots turned out. Her passion for photography and her couples are truly indescribable. We cannot thank her enough for all she did! Tyler has been so amazing!! From our engagement shoot to our big day, she was always a pleasure to work with and made us feel comfortable each step of the way. She was by far one of our favorite vendors! We initially fell in love with her work as we were scrolling through Instagram. The way she uses sunlight and the soft tones of her photos were exactly what we were looking for. It was a bonus that she had also recently shot at our venue! During our initial phone call with Tyler, we had to let her know how awkward we are in front of the camera and how we would be needing A LOT of help to not look ridiculous. She assured us that she would help guide us along the way and that she loves to bring out the silliness into her photos as well because it's all about having fun during these shoots! And I would say this is one of my favorite things about Tyler. She has little tips and tricks to "pose" us without feeling posed and to capture amazing moments that feel so natural and effortless. Our goofy selves got the most beautiful photos that captured our fun/silly side and also a romantic side (which is hard to get with us!). Besides her amazing photography, Tyler was also so accommodating. I was adamant that I wanted to enjoy cocktail hour with my guests which meant packing a lot of photos during our pre-ceremony time. I would get a lot of responses like "that's not usually how it's done" or "it'll be fine if we do pictures after the ceremony/during cocktail hour", but Tyler always reminded me that this was our wedding and she would do whatever would make us happy. Even when it was time to leave cocktail hour to take our sunset photos, Tyler asked us again if we were sure we wanted to leave. She was so respectful of our time and our wishes and I can't thank her enough for that. I love Tyler and her work and I hope to continue working with her as our photographer until she gets sick of us! I can't recommend Tyler enough!

From the moment we reached out to Tyler, she was so friendly, accessible, and professional. We knew a few couples that had recently used her and we LOVED the style of her photos. Both couples had such amazing things to say about working with Tyler, so we wanted to meet with her. She was the first vendor we booked because we were so certain she'd be perfect! Something unique Tyler has to offer is that she has recently been a bride herself and is very in tune with every aspect of planning the wedding and all the little wedding day details. I can truly say she helped make our wedding day so special by going above and beyond her job as a photographer. Our wedding photos were delivered SO promptly and we were able to see our entire gallery once we returned from our honeymoon! We're so happy we had Tyler Chase Photography and will always be thankful for the organic memories she captured on our special day!

I’m going to start by saying, I was not that girl that had her wedding day planned out since age 6. Fast forward to January of this year, and I’m getting married in July and I had to find and figure out every single detail of our wedding, from start to finish, and quick. I had never met Tyler but found her on Instagram- one tagged photo, lead to another, to another, and I quickly fell in love with the style of her photos. I give this much background because, like most, it’s scary to pick out the people you want to support your most important day, and even scarier when you are doing it thru social media, but trust me when I say, you will NOT be disappointed with choosing Tyler. She not only captures the BEST moments at the perfect time, but she is friendly, professional, and an expert at what she does. If the moment isn’t there, she knows how to craft it without making it look manufactured. She is fast at turning around your pictures, she was my stand in makeup artist when I needed lash glue- I mean, she does it ALL! A picture is worth a thousand words..... These words should really describe the person behind the camera taking the photo. In this case, a thousand words won't do justice for what Tyler has done for us. She deserves all the praises and more because her work ethic is unbeatable! Tyler was the one vendor that kept us calm throughout the entire day. She was the only vendor who we completely trusted and let her passion of photography take us on an amazing adventure. She is the reason why 50 years from now, we will still be able to talk about the best day of our lives. Not only do we love her, but every single person that has seen her photos has fallen in love with her. She is incredibly fast in editing and sharing photos with her clients! I have to give her extra kudos for taking me to the church! Not only was she my photographer, but she kindly drove me to the ceremony! More people in the world need to be like Tyler. She is the perfect balance of a free spirited, professional, hard working, and carefree human being. She has done so much for us, that this review is the least we can do to show our love and support. I still haven't been able to fully put into words the photos and service we received from Tyler (and it's been a few months since our wedding!). These are something you will look at and cherish forever and we're so grateful to have had her as our photographer for both our wedding and engagement photos (now we just need to get her out here to take photos of us in our new home!). I just wish we could have had 5 of her to capture even more delightful shots! She made my camera-shy-ish husband (who always has his eyes shut during photos) feel like a model (idk how she got him to do that smolder that I love to look back on) and made me feel completely like my goofball self. Everyone at the wedding loved her and still raves about the way she captured our day. Tyler is great to communicate with and was super helpful with trying to figure wedding things out. Tyler was unbelievably amazing!!! Working with her was incredibly easy. From the first day we met at our engagement shoot, Tyler treated us like friends. She made us feel soo comfortable and we had so much FUN! She is very professional and on the day of our wedding worked quickly to get us out of the scorching sun! Tyler was such a pleasure to work with! From the beginning to end, she handled everything professionally and made things go smoothly for me. I had so many questions about the weather conditions, locations, and outfits for the photoshoot and Tyler was well prepared to answer all my concerns. On the day of the photoshoot, she was on time and gave us a warm welcome. I quickly became very comfortable with her which made the experience fun and enjoyable. During the shoot, she listened to what moments I wanted her to capture and she did exactly what I asked for without hesitation. She sent me some sneak peaks the next day and in just two more days, I received all my edited photos! Tyler is so spectacular to work with! She always goes the extra mile to get all the shots, looks and moments. Whether it is waking up before sunrise, or sticking around to make sure the light is just right, Tyler is absolutely invested. Tyler's photographer is a dream! I've been such a fan of Tyler's work for so long, and feel so lucky that she was able to capture our day. Tyler was a joy to work with. Her passion for photography is obvious, she has extraordinary attention to detail, she’s friendly, she is not afraid to take bold shots, and she is happy to travel off of the trail into wilderness in order to get the perfect shot! On our wedding day, she climbed up a tall rocky facade by the ocean and cove at Terranea Resort to take photos of us. Not every photographer would have been willing to do this, especially carrying thousands of dollars of photography equipment, but there was no hesitation for Tyler. Our pictures looked fantastic, our wedding day was incredible, and Tyler played a huge part in all of it. Seriously, we’ve had so many people “oooh” and “aaaah” over the georgeous photos Tyler took. 10/10, highly highly recommend! Tyler was AMAZINGGG!!! We used several vendors at our wedding and she was hands down our favorite! Tyler had such a calming energy! Wedding days can be so stressful so having her there was such a blessing! She arrived on time and knew exactly what she was doing! She captured everyone beautifully, including my dogs. She went to the second location to take pictures of the groomsmen on her own! With so many moving pieces on that day so many people/ vendors had so many questions Tyler was so professional and went in knowing what she was doing! I very much appreciated that! During the ceremony she captured spectacular shots, I have no idea how either! She was like a ninja! We didn’t see her or hear her! In a small chapel that was huge! Tyler captured the reception beautifully she captured amazing candid’s with everyone that was important! She blended in perfectly with my family and friends it truly felt like having another member of the family there with us! She was personal and lovely! I can’t say enough about her or her work! I have referred her to my best friend for her wedding and she will be covering her special day as well! I think that speaks volumes of her as a professional and as an all-around wonderful person!

My wife and I got married last month and we could not have made a better decision than to use Tyler as our wedding photographer. Tyler made us and our guests all look like models with her amazing shots AND she got us all of our edited wedding photos in less than 2 WEEKS! What a rockstar. We just got married this last weekend and Tyler photographed our wedding! We cannot say enough AMAZING things about her!! Not only is she super cute and fun but she is INSANELY TALENTED!! Everyone is raving about how beautiful our photos are and everyone has said "wow- your photographer is amazing!" Where do I begin, Tyler was absolutely phenomenal. We were travelling to Southern California and decided the week before to move our engagement shoot there, we reached out to Tyler , checking in on her availability and she took the time to really understand us as a couple, the look we were going for, and and made informed recommendations on locations in the area. Once we arrived at the 7am shoot, Tyler was ready to rock and roll. She laid out her vision and we were off. Throughout the shoot she helped us as this was the soon to be groom's first photo shoot. She took advantage of the slight breeze to get a shot of my dress flying in the wind...came out perfect. We enjoyed our experience with Tyler so much we asked if she could do our wedding as well. From the first time we spoke to Tyler through getting our edited wedding photos back, she was extremely friendly, thorough, timely, and professional. Tyler was incredible from start to finish. I got engaged, and had a California trip booked a week later. I just knew I wanted to shoot in Malibu for our save the dates, but wasn't sure if I wanted Mountains or beach. Tyler made both happen. The lighting, the scenery, everything was beyond. She made us feel comfortable right from the start. I only had a week to find an outfit and didn't really love anything, so she brought me some outfit choices from her own closet. She was a true gem. Our pictures were relaxed and natural which I loved and I can't wait to use them. My family was so impressed. We had the finished album so quick, too!
