Tyler Gets Weird

anything. It was all so natural and comfortable. It may sound funny, but I genuinely think about him and his work all of the time and am still in awe when I think back to my wedding day. He's not just a videographer. He played such a crucial role in the entire day while also allowing me to forget he was even there at all. It was more like having a friend around, to be honest. And he pays ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Not only in his video, but through the whole morning, he was the only person who realized that not one of the buttons on my dress were buttoned before going down the aisle and he helped us get them buttoned up quick! He also bustled all 6 bustles that my dress had in like 30 seconds. Like cmon!!! That's someone who goes so above and beyond. And obvioiusly his video was INCREDIBLE. He took the time to talk with me about my vision and brought it to life in such a unique way. He really is the best. Would recommend to anyone.

, responsive, professional, and just an overall joy to communicate with. Not to mention the fact that he is a profoundly talented photographer. On the day of the wedding, he managed to be everywhere at once - somehow capturing every special moment of the day while simultaneously directing everyone to where they should be, and all the while managing to provide the perfect amount of support my wife and I needed to stay sane and allow us to fully enjoy the best day of our lives. I told him our only regret is hiring him before all the other vendors because he set the bar unattainably high. I’m telling you, do yourself a favor and get weird with Tyler. I promise you won’t regret it.

busy in the summertime and I was nervous about feeling calm enough to get the perfect shots. Tyler did an amazing job of explaining how he would achieve our vision and went above and beyond. We would recommend him to anyone looking to capture their happiest moments. His communication was kind, prompt, and full of great humor. Some of our favorites are attached in the google review, we were not able to upload here!

le with. Especially considering we were having a small, <40 person wedding in our backyard. Tyler was absolutely amazing, as were the pictures he took! It was more important to us to have the “people” captured, so we didn’t want a ton of pictures of my dress hanging up, or our invites/shoes/etc artfully arranged, and we also didn’t want to spend an hour away from our family and friends taking a ton of posed pictures. Tyler adjusted to all of that, we only spent about half an hour (maybe) doing portraits, and he got so many amazing shots of our friends and family. He also made sure to get to know us and meshed so well in our friends and family groups! He helped out with set-up between pictures, he gave us advice on things like schedule/timing/vendor suggestions, and he even got our (very loud, opinionated, and prickly) senior dog to adore him. His vibe? Immaculate. I could not recommend him enough!!

ork with in the moment, adapted quickly to each environment, and the results were spectacular. 10 out of 10!

n’t just capture the big, expected moments; he brought every emotion, laugh, and tear to life in a way that makes it feel like we’re living it all over again. The attention to detail and storytelling in his work are absolutely unmatched, and we’ll treasure this video forever. What really sets Tyler apart is how he made us feel. He didn’t just show up with a camera—he became part of the day, blending in seamlessly while capturing everything without ever feeling intrusive. His upbeat, positive energy kept the day on track and so much fun, even during the most emotional parts. We had full confidence in him, and his ability to put everyone at ease made all the difference. Tyler didn’t just create a wedding video—he gave us a time capsule of memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. His creativity, professionalism, and kindness were beyond anything we could have imagined, and the video he crafted is something we’ll be forever grateful for. If you’re looking for a videographer who will capture every special detail and deliver a breathtaking result, Tyler is the one. With endless gratitude, Mattison

ating! We were so grateful for his expertise and fun energy. Our photos turned out amazing and we had a great experience throughout!

e the magic and dreaminess of the day, but he made sure my husband and I were taken care of and that we had every detail finalized to make sure our dream wedding came to fruition. My absolute favorite part looking through all of our photos was the fact that Tyler got pictures of almost every single person at the wedding. The importance of their presence was immense and I am so thrilled Tyler captured the incredible energy each person brought (without even asking!!). Tyler was also incredibly communicative and able to guide me through timelines of the day in such a smooth way that helped me understand what wedding planning really entails. I am forever grateful for Tyler; his hard work and dedication to his craft show with every interaction and in every picture. I couldn't imagine a better experience with anyone else. Thank you, Tyler!

nstantly put us at ease. He has an incredible knack for blending in seamlessly, capturing candid moments that truly reflect the essence of our day. His humor and supportive nature turned potentially stressful moments into joyous ones. It felt like having a good friend by our side, making the entire experience not only smooth but genuinely enjoyable. The turnaround time for our photos was impressively quick, and the quality exceeded all our expectations. Every image is a testament to his talent and attention to detail, allowing us to relive our special day through his beautiful work. We highly recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a photographer who is not only exceptionally skilled but also an absolute delight to work with. He made our wedding day so much more memorable, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

a magnetic personality that most of our calls were sidetracked about life and randomness before circling back to wedding topics. He truly is an expert in his profession and I felt 1000000% confident in his abilities to execute my vision (even when I didn't have a full vision, he'd walk me through different aspects to help me develop the vision!). I am so sad my wedding is now over so that my time with Tyler will be less :( I HIGHLY STRONGLY WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!!!!! He captures the magic of your day so that you can relive the vibes over and over and over as you continue into your happily ever after. Thanks Tyler for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~It was all a dream COME TRUE!!~

o work with! He made the entire experience so fun and personal really making us feel comfortable and able to enjoy our day to the fullest! We have received so many compliments on not only the quality of his work but how fun him and his team were all night! We cannot recommend enough!! THANK YOU!

os, but also how Tyler made the experience a fun time. We truly love the photos he took.

nal request in hopes of hiring for our impromptu surprise wedding – after talking to him for 5 minutes, we knew he was 100% THE guy. A few months have passed since our wedding and we recently hired him for family photos and yet again, he surpassed our expectations. Tyler, thank you for being passionate about photography and always sharing your positive energy with us – you are truly one of a kind and we are grateful our paths crossed.

ense of humor and he was so easy to connect with. I was truly able to just be myself around Tyler and I feel that is something so important to capture candid moments. When communicating prior to our wedding he listened and asked questions to really get to know us, and genuinely cared about what we were looking for. I think what I appreciated the most was his attentiveness during our wedding day. I feel he had a way of keeping me calm and relaxed, but at the same time hyping everyone up. He made sure we were feeling okay, had something to drink or eat, and would check in to make sure we weren't feeling overwhelmed. He helped with our timeline, worked great with our photographer and other vendors. Plus I was cracking up the entire day working with him! If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares, who is passionate, hilarious, professional and extremely talented, Tyler is the one for you!

worked with me to understand the vision while also giving me his professional opinions. His passion for his work and his couples stood out in every meeting, conversation, and moment we had together. On our wedding day, he was so attentive to the details while also videoing the authentic candid moments. He makes being together the whole day fun and never made us feel unnatural or smothered. He would make a joke to make us laugh, and just seemed like another friend who was there for us and just so happened to have a camera. All in all, a truly remarkable human who makes awesome videos for people to cherish forever. I know we will forever be thankful for Tyler and our video.

e that we spoke. We are both kinda awkward when it comes to pictures but with Tyler it was like just hanging out with a friend and he was able to truly capture the real us. The one thing we wanted from our photos was for them to be us and not the standard wedding poses and Tyler knocked it out of the park. Bonus skills include untangling necklaces in a pinch and a sense of humor that will make your normally stoic Uncle actually laugh. Sonic you are looking for a photographer that professional, delivers amazing work and also brings the fun, Tyler is definitely your guy.

the moment s and when you view the images it’s as if your experiencing the wedding for the first time. As a mother of the bride we received more than we could of imagined from Tyler. Thank you Tyler!!!

Tyler Gets Weird, I knew his style was exactly what I was looking for. His portfolio brought me in with his realism, but once we did the initial phone call, I knew he was the photographer for my wedding. He was personable, knowledgeable and gave us great advice on some things we weren't too sure about - also found out he did video too! After we booked him for the wedding, he stayed in contact with us until the big day to ensure we were all on the same page. Fast forward to our wedding date, the only word to describe him is phenomenal. He arrived early, scoped out the location to see the best photo options, helped us relax and not feel like we were putting on a performance. He told us that the theme of the day was flexibility and we would make it work no matter what - AND HE DID. I felt like I've known him for years with how comfortable he made not just my husband and I, but our family and friends as well. Our photos and video are something I will look at for the rest of my life and he is now my family photographer for any and all milestones from now on.

red us with a colleague, Gabe, that we absolutely loved and Tyler also personally kept checking in with us the week of the wedding and immediately after. Very impressed by his accessibility and patience. We were blown away by the quality of the photos and also the time in which we received them. Would give a million more stars if it was an option!!!

h us throughout the entire process and made us feel completely comfortable from the start. All of those things continued throughout the wedding day, and for people who are not normally comfortable being in front of the camera, he made us feel right at home and kept us genuinely smiling and laughing the whole time. He gave us lots of good tips before the wedding, and did such a good job taking the lead and directing everyone on wedding day. The end product was an incredibly beautiful portfolio of pictures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives! We would recommend Tyler a thousand times over!

ot our engagement photos around Jekyll Island. Tyler was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. On the day of the shoot, my fiancé was nervous because he had not had professional photos taken of him since he was in college but we found Tyler to be easy going and fun to work with! He was able to get beautiful photos of my fiancé and I (and even our two dogs) and, more importantly, was able to capture our personalities in the pictures. His turnaround time in getting our photos to us was also much faster than expected (it took him a weekend!!) Everyone we have shared these photos with is impressed by them and we are using them on our save the dates and invitations. We have referred him to our friends in the area and will reach out to him next time we need a photographer.

s, and care - that you can see in his work - is everything you want for your special day! Tyler once again thank you! Our wedding day would have missed a special piece if you were not there. The video that Tyler put together of our wedding day, brings me to tears every time I watch it. (and I have watched it more times than I can count ..! ) 5 out of 5 stars Hes the best!

ed his photography AND videography for our date. My husband and I are extremely thankful we did. I’ll try to keep this short, but Tyler was a true professional throughout, scheduling phone calls along the way to make sure we were on the same page and he understood our vibe. He even went out of his way to do things far outside of what he needed to do during the wedding to ensure our day was perfect! BUT the best part is the photos and video turned out absolutely amazing! We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to share them with future generations (especially the video!!). His attention to detail was on point throughout. We had such a good rapport, our wedding party and guests thought Tyler was already one of our homeboys. In fact, we loved him so much, we already booked and completed Christmas photos with our pup (just a month and a half post wedding), and they’re awesome! We can’t wait to share them with family and friends this holiday season. We feel lucky Tyler was available to capture all of the special moments at our wedding and take our first set of Christmas photos. Bonus: we now consider him a friend.

s second shooter, also a really solid guy. Couldn’t have asked for a cooler team, absolutely no regrets 12/10 and cannot wait to see our wedding video

tially showed me Tyler’s work, it seemed like exactly the type of work we were looking for. What went beyond my expectations was all of the work Tyler did to not only make the photos look great but also the overall wedding and reception. For someone like myself who is not used to taking professional photos, Tyler provided a fun and comfortable atmosphere. His fun but also professional approach to his work allowed my wife and I to be ourselves. And Tyler did a great job of capturing this. In addition to being our photographer, he went the extra mile to help make sure things were running smoothly so my wife and I could enjoy the day. From helping me adjust my tie and handkerchief to making sure our food and drinks were coming, Tyler work continuously to decrease any potential stresses and allow my wife and I to focus on enjoying the moment. I can wholeheartedly recommend Tyler as a photographer. Working with him gave me a better understanding that a great photographer not only captures beautiful moments but also helps genuinely facilitate them with his work ethic. Thank you Tyler for working with us and capturing exactly what we were looking for in our wedding!

turnaround time was fantastic and he stayed in contact with us throughout the editing process to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. We would 110% book with Tyler over and over again! Thank you SO much, Tyler!

ellent at scheduling phone calls for the three of us to make sure we were on the same page as we were planning. First phone call, he was interested in learning our story and we got to know each other a bit to make sure our personalities meshed well. His work highlights all the candid moments and really captured the joy we felt on our day. After the wedding, everyone raved about how much fun he was to have around and how amazing the pictures turned. We honestly don’t think we could’ve had a better photographer to capture the sweet memories of our wedding. Wholeheartedly recommend TylerGetsWeird to anyone.

ept from Tyler. He sent us a personal message the same day, introducing himself, ready to schedule a phone call to discuss the wedding. We got on the phone the same day, and Tyler spent a good part of the hour getting to know us. What stood out the most to me was his passion for photography, the quality of work, and his dedication to helping make the day as smooth as possible for the bride and groom, with the couple being his main focus. His handle “Tyler Gets Weird” was another thing that stood out for us. We have a big and silly family, and who better to document them than someone who likes to “get weird”. But getting weird doesn’t take away from the professionalism he displayed throughout this entire wedding process. Before the wedding day, we touched base on the phone, another lengthy conversation, so when we officially met at the ceremony, I felt like we already knew him, and that made it so much easier to invite someone you’ve never met into a private moment in your life. Tyler exceeded all of my expectations. He was friendly, professional, efficient, and direct without being pushy. He advocated for us throughout the night, touched base on what’s next on the schedule, gave us soft pointers on posing, and remembered the details we discussed on the phone (remembering that I get moody in the heat and adjusting our photo locations so I wouldn’t sweat off my makeup and have a meltdown - for which I am extremely grateful). Most importantly, he captured us. Our love, silliness, terrible dance moves, and the love of our family and friends on such a monumental day in our lives. And if that’s not enough, we received sneak peak photos the very next day and our entire album just two weeks later. I cannot sing his praise enough and personally feel that hiring Tyler was the best decision we made (after getting married, of course). We will not hesitate to hire him for all our photography needs in the future.

even went to the extent of posting a fake Instagram post to convince my husband of the secret. His pictures are amazing. He takes such real photos of us and captures our real feelings for each other. Tyler is personable and professional in every imaginable way! Will def use him again in the future!

have never had professional pictures done before so my fiancé and I felt very awkward and didn’t know what to do. Tyler made the whole experience very fun and relaxing! He told us how to pose for certain photos and gave us very good direction. We received the photos a couple days later with AMAZING results! The pictures were stunning, and we could not of asked for anything better!

e; creatively open to your vision, yet able to capture the beauty of your day through his eyes (which trust me, you want). One of the first things Tyler said to me was "What's important to me is your experience. I'm not here to treat you like a product for a company that we just want to get up on Instagram. This day is about you and us capturing your special moments together. I'm here to make this an experience for you." And I'll tell you, he stands by those words throughout every step of your day. Tyler made us smile and laugh from start to finish. He literally took the jacket off of his own shoulders to keep me warm through our 38 degree day (and shared it with anyone else who needed it, including our 2-year-old flower girl). Without having to ask, he helped my sister bustle my dress because we had no idea how to do it (Tyler is a wealth of applicable knowledge on literally anything wedding). At one point, I looked at him and said "how long should I wear my veil for?" just because I already felt like he was my friend who would know what to do. I felt like Tyler wasn't just our videographer - he was in grained in and a part our the adventure that was our day. And after the wedding, every guest and other vendors all had the same wonderful things to say about him - he was funny, genuine, and a great guy to work with and have there. Tyler's videography is beautiful - the product you're going to get is guaranteed to be spectacular. He's incredibly talented in his craft and that alone is a reason to book him and trust him with your special day (or any projects for that matter). But what makes Tyler even more unique from other videographers and photographers is the experience you'll have with him. Booking Tyler Gets Weird will set the stage for making the best day of your life even better.

good and did not only the standard poses everyone wants to do but also had a few ideas that turned out awesome as well. We couldn’t be happier with his service. Hands down would recommend or hire again.

e of the family and really set the bar when it comes to how photography should be done. 10/10 would recommend!
