Tyler Gets Weird

Tyler was the very first photographer I reached out to. After one phone call, I knew I didn’t need to contact anyone else. We just clicked instantly, and I felt completely confident that he was the right person to capture our wedding day. I was planning our entire wedding by myself with zero help, and Tyler became so much more than our photographer. He took the time to walk me through so many things I had never even thought about. He gave me ideas, helped me think through the timeline and little details that make such a big difference, and shared advice that had nothing to do with photography, just because he genuinely wanted our day to be amazing. That meant so much to me. By the time our wedding day arrived, it felt like he already knew us. My husband and I had never had professional photos taken before, so we were definitely a little nervous. But Tyler made us feel completely comfortable from the second he arrived. Nothing felt awkward or overly posed. He had us laughing the whole time, and somehow made taking pictures one of our favorite parts of the day.  He has such a great eye for detail, but what really sets him apart is his personality. He is hilarious, so easy to be around, and had everyone laughing and having a great time. He wasn’t just taking pictures; he was helping create the atmosphere of the day. Our guests absolutely loved him, and even now, three years later, people still bring up “the photographer” and how much fun he was. And the photos… they’re everything I hoped for and more. Every time I look through them, I'm right back in those moments. We’re so grateful we trusted Tyler Gets Weird with our wedding memories. I cannot say enough great things about working with Tyler. He was the very first vendor I selected when we were planning our wedding last year. From the moment of the first call I knew he was the perfect choice. He spent so much time getting to know my vision on that first call (and we hadn’t even confirmed to work with him yet!) I could tell he really cares to understand his clients - I felt seen and also left the call knowing so much more about what to expect! It was the easiest vendor selection! He has an incredible sense of humor (which is so helpful during the sometimes stressful parts of wedding planning) and has immaculate attention to detail. I genuinely didn’t know what to plan/expect as far as a timeline for the big day went - and I only had booked a day of coordinator. Tyler made so many helpful suggestions ahead of the big day that I then gave to our day of coordinator! And on the actual day he made me and my husband feel relaxed and comfortable. I genuinely never like photos of myself - I’m pretty confident in real life but tend to feel completely un-photogenic. I absolutely love our photos and can feel all the beautiful feelings from the big day all over again when I look them over! He made sure to prioritize our budget, our timeline and made sure I knew what that was my hubs and I wanted was all that mattered at the end of the day.
