If you could only hire one vendor, let it be Tyler. His work & personality is the absolute best! From the engagement shoot to the actual wedding, he busts his butt off to get every angle/shot possible. My grandma, after the wedding, said “omg he was everywhere it was great”. He’s so good at gathering big groups (my husband & I each had 8 bridesmaids/groomsmen) plus families and it was nothing to Tyler. We’ve only gotten our sneak peek pictures back, but we’re already obsessed & cannot wait to see the rest!!

Tyler and his team were exceptional. Tyler had great communication, ensured a relaxed atmosphere, and took epic shots! He even let me use his shirt all night, to wipe off my glasses. Highly recommend everything to do with him and his team!

Tyler was at the top of my photographer list before even getting engaged. His work speaks for itself in beautiful and timeless photos, but there is more to a wedding photographer than their portfolio! From our first phone call Tyler was authentically himself while being the ultimate professional - no question was too much, and no ideas (or lack thereof) were too big. At both our engagement session and on our wedding day his calm and casual demeanor rubbed off on us. We were comfortable and able to have fun in front of the camera which shows in our pictures. We can’t believe how many things he captured (and his style versatility). Of course, all the formal portraits, but details and moments we didn’t take in that day. Tyler was the first vendor that we booked for our wedding because we knew he would be the perfect fit. He makes the process so easy and fun, and it felt like we had been friends for years. He was extraordinarily generous and came to us in D.C. to do our engagement shoot on a crazy humid July day and still made it fun. On our wedding day, Tyler and his second shooter, Reid, were incredible. They made us comfortable and hyped us up constantly while being efficient and professional. Our family and friends still talk to us about how amazing they were to work with and how the photos all look like they belong in a magazine.

Tyler and his second shooter, Tori, shot out wedding on 4/20/24 and they were incredible in so many ways! From the very beginning when we were looking for vendors, Tyler was friendly and easy to communicate with. That ease continued throughout the wedding day, and that was the first time both my husband and I had met Tyler! He made us feel incredibly comfortable as people who aren't in front of a camera often. My bridesmaids all remarked how easy it was to have fun and feel confident with Tyler's calm, yet positive energy and his posing tips. We got our photo gallery back faster than I was expecting and Tyler did an amazing job capturing the feelings and energy of the day and also adding amazing creative touches to let us see our wedding day from so many beautiful perspectives. As we approach our 1 year wedding anniversary, I thought it was finally time to put pen to paper and give Tyler Norman the OUTSTANDING review and round of applause he deserves. I am overcome with emotion when i think about our wedding day, and Tyler is such a big part of the why. Seamless, attentive, and personal leading up to the very wedding day. It feels impossible to summarize the experience we had working with Tyler for our wedding. I found myself texted him the day after our wedding saying, “My whole family wishes you could be sitting on the couch recapping the night with us.” My initial phone call with Tyler ended up being close to 2 hours. By the end of the conversation, I knew he understood my photography vision, but also who my husband and I are as a couple. He is professional but beyond personal. Tyler was an absolute magician with the camera and captured the magic of our New Years wedding better than I could have imagined. Tyler was the first vendor we booked outside of securing our venue, we truly had to have him! Overall the experience of our engagement photos and our wedding photos were better than we could've even imagined. The way he (and his second shooter Reid!) captures moments in such vivid color are truly astounding. Also his work in dark light/night time is superb which I have heard is not always easy to capture!! I've been married 1 month and would like to do it over again just so I can have more pictures haha. Could not recommend more highly for your day!!!!!

HIGHLY recommend working with Tyler for engagement and wedding photos. He made us feel so comfortable and at-ease from the get-go, providing the perfect amount of direction for poses while still allowing room for everything to feel very genuine to us. On our wedding day, him and Chrissy went above and beyond - there was a protest scheduled right by Heinz Chapel and they were so flexible and proactive, with multiple plans in place should we need to pivot to other photo locations. At the reception, they pulled us aside with a bottle of champagne to take nighttime photos, which was such a nice addition to our photography portfolio and we were so glad we did. For anyone looking to include their dog in their photos, Tyler & Chrissy were so patient with our dog Rooney and were happy to accommodate the ideas we had for capturing shots with him. Finally, what really stood out to me was their attention to the little details throughout the day - adjusting my veil and dress train, ensuring guys' bowties were straight, and even stepping in to fix my earring when it broke. We hired Tyler as our engagement and wedding photographer and boy, if you’ve seen his work, you already know he DELIVERED. We had a blast working with him - he is extremely personable and genuinely such a nice guy. He is your number one hype person and his jokes to get you to laugh are hysterical. His ability to capture the emotions and love is outstanding. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows in each photo. We received our sneak peaks from our wedding day and each one takes our breath away. Tyler and Reid shot our wedding on 09/16/2023 at Heinz Chapel & The Pennsylvanian. If I could give an infinite amount of stars, I would. From a business perspective, Tyler's communication is impeccable & his offer of photography services / a la carte items is plentiful. He also shot our engagement session, and what a FUN date night that was. He is professional and extremely personable, which created a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for two people who can be awkward in front of a camera (i.e. my husband and me). On our wedding day - Tyler & Reid couldn't have been any more perfect. He was able to assist with a timeline of the day, could navigate and energize a 22 person bridal party, and they captured our love & our day so beautifully. Our bridal party was raving about how much fun they had with both Tyler and Reid. Lastly, the ability for Tyler to create an emotion through his work is truly unmatched. He is a master of his craft. When we look back on our photos we are reminded not only of all the fond memories & emotions of the day, but a lifetime of memories shared with our families & loved ones. If I had a dollar for every time I recommended Tyler I would have a lot of dollars, because I literally tell everyone with ears how wonderful he is. Professional, personal, talented, reassuring, great communicator - ALL THINGS YOU NEED IN A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER PEOPLE. The photos simply speak for themselves, but beyond that knowing he's someone you can trust to execute the plan you discussed and will actually listen to what you want, is so important. We feel so lucky that we were able to hire Tyler Norman Photography for our August 2023 wedding. When searching for a photographer, I wanted to make sure we hired a someone who captured how we actually look (nothing over edited or airbrushed!). Tyler Norman Photographer had that exact organic look that we wanted so we booked them right away. Tyler & Chrissy are such genuinely nice people which makes all the difference because you will spend lots of time with them on the big day! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and put all my worries about a wedding timeline at ease during a preplanning phone call. Their communication is top notch and they always respond in a timely manner. Tyler sent us several preview photos only days after our wedding which was such a nice surprise. In my opinion, your photographer is one of the most important vendors you hire. They are worth every cent. I would recommend them to anybody who asks!!

Incredible is the understatement of the century. Tyler was so responsive and knowledgable during our vendor search. He literally dropped everything and saved the day when our outdoor November engagement shoot’s weather quickly turned south. Throughout the entire wedding day he made sure I didn’t need anything and helped calm those wedding nerves with his easygoing, funny demeanor. Our photo album is stunning and he truly couldn’t have done a better job capturing all the tiny details that made our wedding ours. He is an incredible photographer and even better human being. I would recommend Tyler to all of my friends and family, but especially to future brides. He is one of a kind.

I don’t even know where to start. There was no one that could have captured our day better than Tyler. Tyler is quick to respond to communication and just about any question you could have is answered on his website or his brochure. He was seriously SO fun to work with. I love taking pictures, my husband does NOT but Tyler’s prompts and way of shooting just makes it so fun and easy and you are truly so photogenic when working with him. He is so funny!! Producing genuine laughs and smiles and turn out beautiful in your photos. I had a lot of ideas for pictures i wanted on our wedding day and during our engagement shoot and he never made me feel annoying or like i was ruining his process. And of course, his eye for a good shot is insane. There were definitely poses or prompts where i was like what are we doing lol and those shots turned out to be some of my favorite. We got so. Many. Pictures. There were so many moments during the day i don’t remember or didn’t see and i truly felt like i was reliving the day going through our gallery. I truly don’t want to take another photo unless Tyler is behind the lease. The talent is absolutely unmatched. My family and friends were all in awe of how perfect every picture was. There's so many wonderful things that I could say about Tyler but I'll keep it short, he absolutely killed it! I was introduced to him a few years ago whenever he shot my friend's wedding and immediately loved his work. Years later whenever it was my turn to get married, I knew that I had to reach out to him to see if he was available. He was SO HELPFUL and the day of, he kept things lighthearted and fun which was welcome. The photos turned out amazing, but that's no surprise. Thank you, Tyler, Ethan and I couldn't be happier!

I would recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! He was so easy and truly a joy to work with. All of his communications and responses were incredibly prompt; he answered every email and text within hours. He was easy to talk to and patiently answered all of our (many, varied) questions before we booked. I was happy with our choice even before the wedding based on this alone. On the day of the wedding Tyler and Chrissy were just perfect. They were calm and organized, making everyone feel comfortable and happy. It was my first time meeting them in person but they put me at ease immediately. They were so knowledgeable and honestly helped me stay on track in the hours leading up to the ceremony. My husband and I aren’t great in front of a camera so we really relied on Tyler and Chrissy for direction and posing and they delivered. I had sent them a shot list beforehand and they made sure to get everything on it and more. They also kept us perfectly on time to make it to our cocktail hour which meant a lot to us. So we loved our experience with them, but getting the photos back sealed the deal. They were even better than we could have ever hoped for! We truly love how they captured our day. The photos are absolutely stunning and we are so thrilled that we’ll have them forever. Everyone who sees the photos has complimented how well they turned out too. I also need to give a special shout out to Chrissy who went above and beyond putting boutonnières on the guys and doing the button loops on my dress 15 min before the ceremony!!

Tyler is AWESOME! SO much fun to work with!!!!!! Truly felt like we were hanging out with one of our friends who just happened to be snapping photos of us. We hired Tyler to do both our engagement and wedding photos. We really wanted our engagement photos to be at Conneaut Lake, a place that's so special to us, and even with Tyler's busy Spring schedule, he was able to fit us in and drive the 1.5 hours to Conneaut to shoot. Well, fast forward to engagement photo day - it was POURING. Not raining, P O U R I N G. I was nervous how photos would turn out and seeing as this was my first time meeting Tyler, I was worried he would be annoyed he had to shoot in a downpour. NOT in the slightest. He greeted us with a smile and a 'let's do this' attitude. He cheered us on the whole time, while getting poured on. The photos turned out insanely beautiful. SO unique. Wedding day came and Tyler captured it perfectly. I am still blown away at some of the shots he got and the ideas he had. He truly LOVES his job. His energy and excitement for his couples is so genuine. I could not imagine having anyone else capture the most amazing day of our lives. Do yourselves a favor and book him.

I can't put into words how special Tyler and Chrissy are to us. I wish there was more than five stars, because they deserve all the stars and beyond. We were lucky enough to have the best photographer in all of Pittsburgh. Tyler was such a pleasure to work with. He was so personable throughout our engagement shoot and during our wedding day. He is very responsive and professional, and was able to make it work for us, even though we didn’t even have a wedding date yet. For me, photography was the most important part of my wedding, and I was very stressed about picking the perfect photographer. Chrissy and Tyler were amazing to work with on both our engagement photos at Melon Park and wedding photos at Hotel Monaco! We received our photos back timely and have a ton of great shots.

We were really happy with all of our vendors for our wedding but our absolute favorite and also the bridal party and parent's favorite was Tyler! I truly cannot say enough about Tyler's creativity and kindness throughout the entire process. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and he truly has an eye for capturing all the moments. Seriously my husband and I had no idea we could look THAT good. Numerous guests told us after the wedding how nice our photographer was which is funny because as a professional wedding guest and bridesmaid, I have never once told a couple that their photographer was nice or really interacted with them. Tyler was absolutely fantastic at interacting with our guests and with the bridal party. My mom was so worried she would get in the way while I was walking down the aisle and Tyler made sure she got herself out there to see it all. Our other vendors also LOVED Tyler as well. We hired a videographer that was just starting out and while I am sure working with a rookie isnt always ideal, Tyler gave them A LOT of guidance which not only helped him but also our video we received. It is extremely evident that he has a lot of experience in the industry as well. We never once felt rushed by Tyler. He captures moments as they happen and it is so special. Tyler was not only our wedding photographer but also someone we would consider a great friend. When picking your wedding vendors, especially photographers you are allowing them behind the scenes and to be a part of intimate moments (first looks, getting ready stress, etc). Tyler is exceptional at just reading the moment and going with it and I promise it will turn out beautiful. I am so very thankful to have had Tyler be a part of our special day. Tyler was hands-down the best photographer to work with. HIRE HIM! From our engagement session to our big day, he had the ability to make us feel calm and brought such a positive vibe with him. Our photos are beyond anything we could’ve ever imagined. He was helpful with creating our timeline, giving some little notes of advice, and keeping us on track with our timeline after the ceremony. Tyler and Chrissy were the absolute best! They were both so relaxed and fun and always made us feel comfortable - it was like we were just hanging out with friends. They did an amazing job capturing all of the big and small moments of our wedding day. When we look back at our photos, it’s like we’re reliving the whole day. Tyler even traveled to NY to do our engagement session. We could not be happier with how all of our photos turned out! Definitely recommend Tyler and Chrissy without hesitation!

We were fortunate enough to have Tyler and Chrissy come to Chicago to do our engagement session which we will forever be grateful for. Getting to know them then was SO much fun and made our wedding day THAT much better (if you are on the fence about an engagement shoot, DO IT). Tyler instantly makes you feel comfortable in front of a camera. Tyler (and Jess our second shooter) were amazing! He captured all the important parts of our day and specific requests (which ended up being a lot haha). Tyler has an incredible eye for detail and not be mention his pictures are beautiful. We loved every second working with Tyler, Chrissy and Jess and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Tyler is truly the greatest. He’s kind, genuine, relatable, and hilarious. He’s also super responsive and makes the planning process a breeze. As a couple that doesn’t like being in front of the camera or attention in general, we were pretty nervous about our engagement and wedding photos. However, we instantly felt at ease with Tyler and had SO much fun with him. Seriously - he’s really fun. He captured all of the key moments from our wedding day as well as the many, many candid moments. I look at our photos and immediately smile because Tyler somehow managed to capture all of the excitement and genuine happiness that we felt on our wedding day in every single shot.

Words cannot express how much we loved working with Tyler and Chrissy. We had our engagement session with Tyler (who made the trip from Pittsburgh to Philly and back in one day for us), and our wedding day was captured by both Tyler and Chrissy (we were very lucky!). They made us feel SO at ease starting from day one, throughout the entire planning process, and all the way through the end of our reception. As people they’re truly incredible and genuine, and they’re so much fun to work with. They completely calmed our photo-taking nerves. As for their work, Tyler and Chrissy’s photos left us absolutely speechless. They captured our essence so perfectly, we didn’t even know it was possible. Could not recommend working with Tyler and Chrissy enough.

One of the easiest decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process was booking Tyler as our photographer. He was actually the first photographer that we spoke with, but instantly, we felt so comfortable and relaxed with him. It felt like we already knew him and didn’t have to, or want to, look any further. My (now) husband was especially impressed by how timeless his photos are and insisted we go with him. I was confident based on Tyler’s work that his photography was going to be amazing. What I did not know, and could not have anticipated, was what a difference having someone like him around on your wedding day makes. We could not stop smiling – he encouraged us to be ourselves, made us feel special, comfortable, and excited all at the same time, and captured the best candid moments. Hiring Tyler and Chrissy to be our wedding photographer was the BEST decision ever! From our first call to the night of the wedding, they were absolutely amazing to work with. The communication with them was so timely and efficient. At our engagement shoot we were so nervous, but Tyler immediately made us feel relaxed and we ended up having so much fun! The wedding day was perfect and thanks to Tyler and Chrissy, things went smoothly, and our photos turned out even more beautiful than we could've ever imagined!! Tyler and Chrissy are talented, professional and care deeply for their clients and are all around really wonderful people. We enjoyed working with them so much. Tyler, and his team, were beyond exceptional throughout the entire process. We started our journey shortly before COVID hit. He made working through the scheduling, planning, rescheduling, replanning, and everything in between feel like a breeze. Working with Tyler for our wedding was an absolute delight! He was so professional but so easy to get along with. When I came across his work while looking around for wedding photographers I knew I had to have him shoot my wedding. I love the style and quality of the photos he takes, I know these are photos that I can hang up for a lifetime. He was so great at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which my husband and I are definitely not used to! He was so easy to talk to and communicate with. He made sure to check in on the vision we had/our personal style for our engagement and wedding photos and added his creative flair to make beautiful memories for us! He also captured so many photographs for the engagement and wedding shoots and edited them all to the finest detail. He was very accommodating and flexible throughout the entire process. Professionals who go out of their way to accommodate their clients just show an extra layer of quality and compassion and that is the type of person I wanted capturing one of the most important days of our life. I wish I could give Tyler & Chrissy 10 stars...even then, I am not sure if that would be enough. First and foremost, they are the most talented and kind people to work with. Before the wedding, I didn't realized how much time you spend with your photographers but my husband and I are so happy that they were with us all day. They make the picture taking process easy and efficient - it feels as if your lifelong friend is guiding you and walking with you throughout the day. It was such a highlight to get to spend time with them. On top of this, Tyler is a phenomenal communicator and professional. He answered my many, many questions and never made me feel like an annoyance or problem. He really took the time to understand what my husband and I wanted from our photos. We are thrilled with the outcome and it was worth every penny.

We hired Tyler Norman to shoot our engagement photos and as our wedding photographer. He was a recommendation from our wedding planner and we are so glad we heard of him because working with him was just great! Getting a good quality photographer was very important to us because we wanted a photography style that went with our own personal style and would transfer to our venue style well. After meeting Tyler and looking at his work (his website and Instagram are a good way to do that) we knew he was the photographer for us. He is very easy to work with, makes his clients feel comfortable and great at communicating with us and our planner. We hired him for a full service package with a second shooter for the wedding (which is his wife, Chrissy who is also great!) We don't live in the Pittsburgh area, but Tyler traveled out to our area in South Central PA to shoot our engagement pictures in Fall of 2019 and we found it really easy to work with him. He made us feel very at eased in front of the camera and really had a great eye for the area we were shooting in to find good photo ops for us. I don't even personally liked being photographed, but I enjoyed running around town with him. Our engagement pictures came out as a perfect representation of us as a couple, we were so happy with them. We ended up having our September 2020 wedding impacted by COVID 19 and after trying to pivot in 1000 ways, we ended up postponing to November 2021. Being a professional that got his hard by the pandemic, Tyler hung in there with us through venue changes and date changes. When we finally got to the big day, Chrissy and Tyler were as ready to go as we were. Their style of shooting is so personable and they got along really well with our wedding party, family and friends. They helped keep both of us cool, calm and collected and had no problem with any kid of shot we wanted to get. Again, Tyler impressed us with his eye for great photo ops (we got married in the Strip District), captured the venue, florarls and ceremony so beautifully and gave us gorgeous couple portraits. Our wedding day photos came out better than we could have imagined. Seriously, we couldn't have been happier with the whole album. It even ended up being one of those gloomy, grey cold Pittsburgh days but you never would have been able to tell because the photos came out so beautifully, you'd think we got married in June. I can't say enough about what a good experience we had with Tyler and Chrissy. Remember this is a day you want to look back on and say you loved how everything looked and Tyler Norman Photography will deliver that for sure!

We are so happy that Tyler was our photographer for our wedding! We had a non-traditional wedding and he was so easy going and ready to capture any shot we were looking for! He did a great job at getting all of the cute little moments throughout the day. He was so friendly with our guests and we love the candid moments he captured of everyone laughing and dancing. Tyler and Chrissy are amazing. Hands down just amazing. Having them as our wedding photographers was some of the best money we spent for our special day as they captured who we are as a couple so perfectly. On the website it says “you can be you with us” and that is 100% how I felt during engagement sessions and of course our wedding. They’re awesome, easy to work with, and also hilarious. I think what I love the most about them though is how calm they made me feel on our wedding day. They kept things so smooth and simple and CONSTANTLY asked me and my husband if we needed anything.
