Tyler’s Party Room

I recently hosted a shower at Tyler's Party Room for my daughter and it was beautiful. Patti was very accommodating and ensured that I had everything that I wanted in order to make the day perfect. We had a display shower and there was more than enough space to display the gifts, as well as walk around and socialize. The food was delicious, we enjoyed a breakfast buffet, and we received many compliments. We also had a mimosa punch that was amazing! Overall, I would highly recommend Tyler's for your event. The service, atmosphere, and food is great. Go check it out for your special occasion, I promise you will not be disappointed!

I hosted my sister's baby shower at Tyler's Party Room and I could not have been more pleased. And although my event was baby related, not wedding related, I thought I would post my review since I would recommend it for both. Leading up to the event, Patti was in contact with me regularly ensuring that the room, the menu, and the staff met my needs. She allowed me to adjust the menu to suit the party and the food was excellent. The room is completely private from the restaurant but was accessible for my brother in law to stop in and help with presents and to eat. My sister was thrilled that he could hang out with friends at the bar while she was enjoying her shower. The room is very versatile so you can set it up however you like and there is a bar if you decide to have drinks/cash bar/open bar. We decided not to have a bar since it was a baby shower, but guests were able to pop over to the main bar for a glass of wine or whatever. Patti was onsite for the event and communicated with me throughout to make sure everything was going well and the staff was fantastic and helpful. Finally, the food was fantastic. We went with a brunch buffet and everything was hot and served on time and well-balanced so everyone was pleased! I can't recommend this venue enough regardless of the event that you are hosting!

Tyler's is one of my favorite spots in Delaware. Having grown up in Pike Creek, I've spent years meeting friends at this local gem. My husband and I, in fact, had our first date at Tyler's. We continued to frequent the bar & restaurant through our relationship and engagement. Our wedding was small, just like I had dreamed of: forty people including us and two photographers! We wanted it at our favorite bar and the place we fell in love. We got in touch with the event coordinators at Tyler's party room. From then on it was smooth sailing. Patti and John helped us to plan a perfect night. We were married in December. The room was decorated beautifully. I was planning on making some crafty centerpieces, but it was already decorated so nicely for Christmas! They arranged the tables just how we wanted and allowed us to keep a small cake in the fridge. A behind-the-bar USB connection allowed us to play Pandora during the reception and access iTunes for our "first dance". They even had champagne and our favorite beer waiting for us at the table to enjoy when we finally sat down. We had a open bar and worked with the event planners to customize the beverage options. The food was great. The room was perfect for our size party. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Most importantly, Patti and John were upbeat, encouraging and accommodating. Anyone who understands the stress of wedding planning would appreciate that! I wouldn't have done it anywhere else. When we would grab food or drinks at the bar during our engagement, we began to notice the party room. People were using it for family reunions, fantasy football drafts and birthdays. I can't believe we hadn't used it before. I would 100% recommend Tyler's party room for a wedding reception or any event. The food is great. The staff is top notch, especially Patti, John and the bartenders. The cost is reasonable, and the event will surely be unforgettable.
