Fresh and Trusted:
Combining their youthful energy with years of experience, Typically Booked represents the next generation of longevity in the thriving wedding scene in New Orleans. Services Offered:
Typically Booked aims to create an authentic connection with each couple to develop an understanding of their individual style and vision for the reception. Typically Booked values the consistency of their gear and on-stage chemistry. The band owns its state-of-the-art audio and lighting equipment and has the same band members share the stage from show to show. This offers you peace of mind knowing that your event is not leaning on rented, unfamiliar equipment operated by musicians who might be meeting for the first time on stage.
Typically Booked features the acoustic guitar which contributes to their rich sound and a unique wind synthesizer that never fails to impress with epic, interactive solos on dance floor. This paired with a youthful ambition allows for special requests that truly live up to the name.
Typically Booked also offers production services to cover your ceremony (offsite or onsite available) and other musical acts for live ceremony music and cocktail hours.

o end of the night was everything we wanted. I don’t think I (or my guests) ever wanted to leave the dance floor. Thank y’all so much!!!

music, with a little bit of New Orleans music as well. They worked with us on some custom songs that were not super well-known for our first and last dance, and their rendition sounded better than the original! The whole band was very friendly and professional. Overall, our experience with Typically Booked exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them!

had to life and more. They did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor electric, even during their set breaks. Family and friends could not stop raving about how amazing they were. One of the best decisions we made was booking Typically Booked as our wedding band, they truly know how to light up a dance floor and create an unforgettable experience!
The best band! Before booking them I looked up a lot of bands on the wedding wire as well as from the Knot. I did a lot of research by watching all these bands live. Watching Typic...
ally Booked live at Felix about a year and a half before our wedding date blew me away and I knew they were the wedding band for us. They are a talented bunch. The vocals of Sam and Cassidy, and Joe on the sax and keyboard blew me away. Joe met with us through zoom several times and together we put on a great song list as well as our requested songs. On the wedding night they blew the house down and sang all of our songs we requested. They really made our night and made our reception fun. The dance floor was full the whole night. They are not your typical wedding band that was just thrown together, they will not play cringy wedding music unless that’s what you request. If you want to have a good time. Have the dance floor full and dance like you are in concert for your wedding reception. You book Typically Booked!!

and his crew. From setup through to the wedding everything was extremely well done and professional. One thing in common whenever we talk to any of our guests from the wedding is how fantastic the band was, they played excellent music and were extremely engaging with the crowd. When you plan a wedding you don't realize how big of an impact the band will have on your reception. I have to say that these guys helped to make this special occasion for us an absolutely incredible memory for us and our guests! Whatever event you are having do yourself a favor and hire typically booked!
