Highly recommend! Ramsey did such a fabulous job of creating a fun, energetic atmosphere for my daughter's wedding. Our guests had a FABULOUS time! He worked very closely with the brides to create an evening that reflected their personalities and wishes for the wedding reception of their dreams. He is a master of his craft and a true artist. Additionally, my friends and I planned a surprise Mom Dance (a la Mama Mia) for the reception, and Ramsey was extraordinarily kind and accommodating in helping us pull it off. We are so thankful for his artistry and attention to detail that made our wedding reception one we will never forget.

Ramsey was beyond kind and thoughtful throughout the process. He was attentive, responsive and played everything we wanted to hear but with additional flair. I appreciated everything he did for us on our special wedding day. Definitely hire this guy. Don't look elsewhere.

DJ Ram-Z at U7 Austin was a last minute hire. (Thank goodness for it not being wedding season). Direct quote from my festival loving brother: "This is just like having our own personal ACL Fest."
We filled out a survey and made a two to three hour playlist for DJ Ram-Z (this took very little time and I thought it would take much longer.) We had a communication with him over the phone discussing timeline and he was in touch with our day of coordinator. That was a few days before our wedding because our other DJ left us hanging.
DJ Ram-Z turned up looking not just professional, but great, and nailed our intros and the transitions between songs for our ceremony.
He worked with us on sound during the reception.
He got everyone dancing and his booth looks sweet.
He took us on a musical journey through all our favorites and more.

Ramsay was an amazing DJ. From the time he began at the reception everyone was up and on their feet dancing.
He had so much contagious energy as he was dancing to the beat as he was DJ ing. His clothing was classy and hip the appearance of his equipment was professional and blended in so nicely with the venue. As he introduced the couple and provided announcements everyone listened with joy and anticipation.
As the mother of the Groom I kept hearing comments about how wonderful the DJ was. Those who preferred not to dance all said the energy in the room was amazing! Further, I could tell that Ramsay understood the requests of the Bride and Groom because their smiles were constant! It was such an enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend!

Ramsey is awesome! From our very first phone call, we could tell how passionate he is about his work and the pride he takes in ensuring the day if perfect. He had such incredible detail and asked so many thoughtful questions to really make sure the day was what we wanted. He kept our dance floor crowded the entire night and was the best DJ set I have ever been to! We got married this past September and had Ramsey as our DJ. When we were interviewing DJs we had criteria for what we wanted in a DJ and Ramsey met it al. Leading up to the wedding, he was super communicative and shared ideas to help us bring it all to life. I could not imagine using anyone else for our wedding, he made it fun and did such an awesome job with the music. At some point one of our guests said "oooh is this Miley Cyrus with some cumbia mixed in" it was the perfect blend of our two cultures. And he did a great job working with us to incorporate some special dances towards the end of the night, including la Vibora de la mar (Mexican snake dance). We had such a blast thanks to Ramsey!

Ramsey was an amazing choice as DJ and MC and not only made the day flow perfectly, but chose the perfect cocktail hour songs based on our loose requests and the feel of our guests, and made sure our party was a hit from beginning to end! We had an amazing wedding, and Ramsey was a huge part of that. From the time that I contacted him, he was so kind and very upfront about pricing. He sent us a very detailed survey and got to know both my husband and my music preferences. He provided mics for our outdoor ceremony and all of our guests were able to clearly hear our ceremony. We had our friend officiate our wedding and Ramsey helped calm his nerves while helping him get his mic attached to his suit. He also provided both of us with a hand held microphone so our guests could clearly hear us. During the reception he did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator to ensure all the transitions went smoothly. He matched the vibe of the party with the music and our guests dancing. He was so professional and I would recommend him to anyone hiring a DJ.

DJ Ram-Z with U7 Austin DJ was the best. He was quick to resolve any issues that came his way with the venue space, was communicative throughout the pre-wedding process, listened to our input on playlists, and kept everyone dancing all night long. It was clear he was reading the room as we went along throughout the event and tailoring the music to what the crowd was responding to most, which made for an AMAZING time. I have known Mike since High School and we were buddies then and have stayed buddies until this very day. We’ve stayed connected through music and when my wedding day came up the ONLY solid decision was Mike and U7 to host and plan the music for our wedding. Mike knocked it out of the park! We absolutely loved Ramsey! He nailed our music preferences and was willing to play less traditional music like we wanted. He blended our eccentric tastes quite well and kept the party going all night! Our older guests and younger guests danced together throughout and had a great time. He was super friendly and patient and even helped coordinate the day. Totally not his responsibility but I was recently injured and he was incredibly helpful during a very stressful time. You absolutely have to use U7 for your event musical needs!

DJ Ramsey was amazing! He was so kind, detail oriented, and made us feel so well taken care of. He felt more like a friend than a person we hired for our wedding. We gave him a solid list of music we liked and he used that to create an ultimate dance party for the reception. He was great at reading the room and things stayed pumped up all night. I can’t say enough superlatives about the spectacular job that DJ Ramsey did for our wedding. He was everything I wanted in a DJ; he was timely, professional, thoughtful, careful and very thorough, flexible, and has a keen instinct for reading the vibe of the dance floor. He worked closely with us months in advance to help us create the exact musical atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. In working up to the wedding, he was very detail oriented and was easily available, and was always easy to talk to. He had really great ideas about song choices and they turned out to be perfect choices for our reception. On the day of the event, he was early and very professional in working with our other vendors and with us and our guests. He went way above and beyond to help move along the schedule of the event. One of the things that is most incredible about his DJ services is his ability to adapt to the audience and type of wedding. We had a fusion Indian/American style wedding and he did an incredible job with this. I also played in a band for the event and he helped the audience get hype for our band music. He helped introduce speakers, announce events such as the champagne toast and cake cutting. The reception was unbelievable thanks to his ability to play music that kept the atmosphere live and vibrant. There was no time during the entire reception where people weren’t dancing! My wife and I could not have been happier with DJ Ramsey.

The DJ was the MOST important vendor for our wedding - we really wanted to have an epic dance party. Ramsey (U7 Austin DJ) was PERFECT for the job! From our first conversation with him, we knew he had the "vibe" we were looking for. My husband is very into metal music but since that is not exactly dance music for most people, we decided to play instrumental covers of metal songs during cocktail hour and dinner, which was so fun! (And we got so many compliments!). We completed his questionnaire and had an in-depth consultation with him beforehand so he knew exactly what we wanted, and he really delivered in every single way. We had a few unique requests that he nailed, like having a mini pop punk segment, and playing a shortened version of our first dance song (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters), but also told him we wanted "Millennial Bangers" and lots of songs to dance along to. There was truly not a single dud - every song was a hit. He did both the ceremony and reception music for us at the Hummingbird House and the ceremony music/audio was also wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding!

I hired Ramsey for my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I made! He was flexible and so kind about last minute changes, he had high energy, read cues and reacted at the correct times. We could not believe how above and beyond Ramsey went for us on our wedding night! Perhaps we should have known tho, he provided us with a very detailed questionnaire and checked in on us throughout the planning process. He even helped put together a beautiful song for everyone to walk down the aisle too. He was key in helping out night run so smooth, was an excellent MC and kept everyone dancing all night! We would recommend him 100 times over !
He was also incredibly professional and collaborated with our photographer throughout the night. Made sure he had all the details of the venue and had a beautiful set up!
And did I mention he was best dressed !!?🤣

My wife and I got married back in May and Ramsey did an excellent job and was a solid MC! We found him through The Knot and from the beginning he was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, even going through a very thorough pre-wedding checklist with us to make sure he took our preferences into account. The song choices were excellent, and Ramsey overall brought a positive energy to both the ceremony and reception that many of our guests enjoyed! I'm very glad we went with him and I highly recommend using U7! When I throw parties in Austin, I know who I'm calling first!

We can’t say enough nice things about U7. If you want a DJ that truly knows/loves music and cares more about your wedding than you do, Ramsey is your guy! He went above & beyond and put an immense amount effort into our wedding. From the audio during the ceremony, to the dinner music, the dance music, the lights, his setup, the sound quality, everything was flawless. I cannot say enough about how essential DJ Mikka was to making our wedding what it was! I still receive compliment after compliment about how fun the reception was and how they had never had a wedding DJ throw such a party. DJ Mikka was easily one of our favorite vendors! He was great to work with, delivered every one of my requests, and even went out of his way to invite my 7 year old cousin (who dreams of being a DJ) up to jam with him. Ramsey was great! He kept the organization and planning to point. There were even hiccups in the original timeline but quickly and easily out my mind at ease and we worked it out with out a hitch. His playlist was AMAZING!! He played off the dance floors energy and we have had nothing but high praises from all our guests about how much fun, exciting, and danceable the entire night was. He kept the dance floor full of all our guests for nearly 3 hours!! Hands down the best to work with, rely on, and professional. Not to mention his setup is beautiful and his uplighting skills made our reception complete!

DJ Ramsey was wonderful to work with. Our venue was very spread out, but DJ Ramsey was able to set up audio at our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception without difficulty.
A few things deserve a special shout out. First, we loved the mixing of the music at the reception. He did a great job sensing the energy of the crowd and adjusting the songs as necessary. Second, DJ Ramsey provided uplighting for our reception space. We went with purple lighting, and it was done to perfection, creating a whimsical ambience I didn’t know I needed!
Lastly, our families and guests commented on what a kind, professional man Ramsey was. I have zero regrets for going with U7 Austin : )

DJ Ramsey was INCREDIBLE. We gave him our music list and he managed to play every one of our favorite songs in a way that flowed well and kept the good vibes rolling all night. The dance floor was never empty. He was professional, responsive, fun and kind. I highly highly recommend him for your DJ needs!! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

A fantastic DJ who helped make our Big Day truly special. We are grateful for the terrific job he did making our party a ton of fun. We supplied a big playlist and he was happy to use it and make it flow. Really terrific service overall.

Ramsey absolutely killed it at our wedding!! He is so experienced and kept my mind at ease during the planning process. The audio at the ceremony was perfect, and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing the day of (as a bride- that was the biggest relief). But most importantly, he made the reception so INSANELY FUN!! He played what we wanted but also knew how to make transitions and keep everybody dancing! We even got a dance circle going which was a secret dream of mine! We adore you, U7!!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about U7! I recently planned my first ever wedding and Ramsey was a true lifesaver. One of the first to arrive, and one of the last to leave, he really provided more than just the music. Ramsey listened to what the Bride and Groom wanted, gave some really helpful opinions, and kept the vibe right while ensuring everything remained on schedule, he is an absolute master of his craft. U7 was incredibly easy to work with, professional, and more than fairly priced, highly recommended for any event!!

I can’t say good enough things about U7. Planning a wedding can be extremely hectic and time-consuming so it was a pleasant surprise when planning our music was made so easy. The entire team was extremely helpful, responsive, and punctual. Our requests were accommodated and when we left it up to them to decide on music for certain times of the reception, their choices were perfect! If you have an event that you need music for, you can stop your search now.

UNDER 7 PRODUCTIONS IS THE BEST DJ! I was nervous about selecting a DJ because music is so important to me. Well let me tell you, we could not have had a better experience, the DJ was polite and professional in our consultation. He was on top of it at our wedding and the music flowed so well with all of our events transitions throughout the night. We still get compliments about the music. Everyone, including me, danced the entire reception because the music was so good. When it was time for our reception to end, our guests were chanting "one more song!" because we all were having so much!

We originally hired a band for our wedding but they ended up falling through at the last minute. So we decided to give Under 7 Productions a shot. Boy, are we glad we did! The Dj we worked with was professional, polite and kept the dance floor hopping all night long.
