He was very easy to work with from day one – great communication, super organized, and he really listened. I shared my vision and a list of songs I liked, and he took that info and built a killer set that felt perfectly “us.” The dance floor was packed all night, and I had multiple guests come up to me afterward to compliment our DJ and ask where we found him. plying to our questions within minutes. When wedding planning got stressful, he was a constant source of reassurance, making us feel like everything was under control. Music was our biggest priority, so feeling confident that he would execute the vision no matter what else happened was a huge relief.
He went above and beyond by helping us customize our specific walk-down-the-aisle song, making the ceremony feel so personal. When we had some last-minute schedule changes on the big day, he pivoted seamlessly without missing a beat. Most importantly, he executed our vision perfectly and played exactly what we requested right on cue. He turned our reception into a high-end rave with incredible lights, a smoke machine, and a playlist of all our favorite tracks. Our guests are still talking about how much fun the dancing was, and how they truly felt like they were at a music festival! If you want a DJ who is professional, adaptable, and knows how to throw a party, we highly recommend booking him!

any and all types of music we wanted, was fantastic with lighting the Great Hall at our event (Lady Bird Johnson Center on 11/23/25), provided mics and lapel mics and ensured they worked all night, and generally was just a fantastic person to work with. e at ease. He didn’t just listen… he genuinely took the time to understand the full vision for our Halloween party and made the entire process feel not only effortless but fun!
On top of delivering a killer set, while my husband and I had our hands full with 200 guests, he went above and beyond by taking the initiative to setup/power the two 12-foot inflatables we were using for the stage. Key detail for the theme that I was not able to get to and would’ve been too late by the time I could. It may seem like a small detail, but it meant the world to me and showed just how much he genuinely cares about his clients and their events. He even dressed in costume for our party!
I can honestly say he’s my forever DJ for any future occasion. You simply won’t find someone who pours more heart, intention, and care into what they do. Highly, highly recommend!

our own personal ACL Fest."
We filled out a survey and made a two to three hour playlist for DJ Ram-Z (this took very little time and I thought it would take much longer.) We had a communication with him over the phone discussing timeline and he was in touch with our day of coordinator. That was a few days before our wedding because our other DJ left us hanging.
DJ Ram-Z turned up looking not just professional, but great, and nailed our intros and the transitions between songs for our ceremony.
He worked with us on sound during the reception.
He got everyone dancing and his booth looks sweet.
He took us on a musical journey through all our favorites and more.

and got to know both my husband and my music preferences. He provided mics for our outdoor ceremony and all of our guests were able to clearly hear our ceremony. We had our friend officiate our wedding and Ramsey helped calm his nerves while helping him get his mic attached to his suit. He also provided both of us with a hand held microphone so our guests could clearly hear us. During the reception he did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator to ensure all the transitions went smoothly. He matched the vibe of the party with the music and our guests dancing. He was so professional and I would recommend him to anyone hiring a DJ.

nd very thorough, flexible, and has a keen instinct for reading the vibe of the dance floor. He worked closely with us months in advance to help us create the exact musical atmosphere we wanted for our wedding. In working up to the wedding, he was very detail oriented and was easily available, and was always easy to talk to. He had really great ideas about song choices and they turned out to be perfect choices for our reception. On the day of the event, he was early and very professional in working with our other vendors and with us and our guests. He went way above and beyond to help move along the schedule of the event. One of the things that is most incredible about his DJ services is his ability to adapt to the audience and type of wedding. We had a fusion Indian/American style wedding and he did an incredible job with this. I also played in a band for the event and he helped the audience get hype for our band music. He helped introduce speakers, announce events such as the champagne toast and cake cutting. The reception was unbelievable thanks to his ability to play music that kept the atmosphere live and vibrant. There was no time during the entire reception where people weren’t dancing! My wife and I could not have been happier with DJ Ramsey.

him, we knew he had the "vibe" we were looking for. My husband is very into metal music but since that is not exactly dance music for most people, we decided to play instrumental covers of metal songs during cocktail hour and dinner, which was so fun! (And we got so many compliments!). We completed his questionnaire and had an in-depth consultation with him beforehand so he knew exactly what we wanted, and he really delivered in every single way. We had a few unique requests that he nailed, like having a mini pop punk segment, and playing a shortened version of our first dance song (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters), but also told him we wanted "Millennial Bangers" and lots of songs to dance along to. There was truly not a single dud - every song was a hit. He did both the ceremony and reception music for us at the Hummingbird House and the ceremony music/audio was also wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding!

w things deserve a special shout out. First, we loved the mixing of the music at the reception. He did a great job sensing the energy of the crowd and adjusting the songs as necessary. Second, DJ Ramsey provided uplighting for our reception space. We went with purple lighting, and it was done to perfection, creating a whimsical ambience I didn’t know I needed!
Lastly, our families and guests commented on what a kind, professional man Ramsey was. I have zero regrets for going with U7 Austin : )
