We had a string duo for our wedding ceremony, and it was perfect for creating a "big moment" feel. We looked though Udeshi's list of recommended songs and sent over some classics, religious, and pop tracks. The duo was able to play them together in a way that felt seamless. They also played for a bit of extra time at the beginning of the cocktail hour to help keep the momentum and celebratory feel, which was very nice of them.

I seriously feel like I have the best job in the world to do what I love and enjoy every aspect of it; from meeting couples to performing at their wedding. When you hire me (and my ensembles) my full focus and attention is on you and making wedding spectacular. I work with you every step of the way and make sure your wedding music is absolutely perfect.

Udeshi was extremely communicative and helpful throughout the planning process. We had multiple phone calls to discuss our vision for ceremony music and she really tailored the music to fit our taste and style. During one of our initial conversations she found out we were doing a Sri Lankan wedding ceremony and immediately offered to lear and play some of the traditional songs to accompany our ceremony. When we found out last minute we wouldn't have access to a microphone for the ceremony Udeshi went out of her way to coordinate one for us.
On the wedding day Udeshi and her team were punctual and professional. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the ensemble even came dressed in saris! Their music was the perfect touch to our ceremony and many of our guests raved about their performance to us. Udeshi's strolling violinist act was such a big hit at our cocktail hour that our guests were singing and dancing along to her playful tunes!
It was thoughtful touches like this from dedicated vendors like Udeshi that really made our wedding day so special and unique. I highly recommend Udeshi Hargett Ensembles for your wedding music - you will not regret it!

Prior to the ceremony, Ms. Hargett sent us her recommendations for the ceremony music. This was very helpful and made it easier for us to narrow down the types of pieces we wanted.
Ms. Hargett chose and played a special serenade for us which added a beautiful romantic touch during the reception dinner. During her solo performance, Ms. Hargett used recorded string music in the background, which simulated the effect of having a full orchestra accompanying her!
During the reception dinner, Ms. Hargett discretely asked us if we would like her to extend her playing time. Based on how well her musical performance was helping us sustain a joyous and uplifting mood for our guests, we did ask her to play longer.
Ms. Hargett was very professional, gracious, and courteous in all of her interactions with us before, during, and after the ceremony. Her technical mastery of the violin, her joyous demeanor while she played, and her ability to select meaningful, poignant musical pieces really helped to create the type of festive and joyful mood we were seeking for the ceremony.
We would heartily recommend Udeshi Hargett Ensembles to provide musical accompaniment for wedding ceremonies and any other celebrations!

were married October 15, 2022, so it was almost a year and a half of planning. the venue was the Oaks at Salem in Apex, NC. the date was set and the music, which coming from a very musical family, was extremely important to us, was decided. I've always dreamed of a string quartet and Udeshi Hargett Ensembles String Quartet was on the Oaks' approved vendor list. Udeshi, Jaimi, Audrey and David did not disappointment! They entertained our guests of roughly 145 during the prelude , ceremony, postlude and the cocktail hour. we worked together for about a year via phone and e-mail. she helped me take a 14-page handwritten list of traditional, classic & contemporary handpicked selections to create a very elegant and fairytale and personal atmosphere. Lots of rehearsal time & preparation went into the final product. A big hit with the family and guests during the cocktail hour was the string trio entertaining under the tent while Udeshi entertained other guests gathered in other areas of the venue with her signature strolling violinist act! My husband (Father of the Bride) and I even got a private serenade. Truly a magical evening. Thanks Udeshi Hargett Ensembles. 5 Stars from the Castleberrys & Cannons.

for the ceremony and Udeshi was our strolling violinist feature during the cocktail hour. It was Udeshi and Kevin.
We communicated through e-mail, had two zoom consultations to discuss wedding details, and Usheshi sent a list of music suggestions. She even learned two new pieces we requested because I wanted specific songs for my entrance with my mom walking me down the aisle. She even performed a serenade for us after our ceremony! During the cocktail hour Udeshi strolled throughout the Merrimon-Wynne house and serenaded all of our guests, and her colleague Kevin played outside of the house and on the patio performing for the guests outside.
All in all Udeshi ensembles was incredible to work with and were so thankful for her amazing talent and making our wedding day even more special!

and cellist David captured the essence of our relationship and turned it into a literal tearful event of emotion on our special day. I (the groom) was in tears even before walking down the aisle with my groomsmen at the sound of the violin and cello.. and again when my bride walked towards me (there's video proof).
She was very flexible, despite the craziness of COVID restrictions. Udeshi and David also studio recorded every song played, specifically for us to use in our wedding video and to keep forever.

ians were very professional and great to work with. Udeshi made the music selection process so easy and was very quick with e-mails. We had the string quartet play for our church ceremony and cocktail hour. The music was breathtaking and created a magical atmosphere. The music was a highlight at our wedding and our guests are still raving about it. We highly recommend Udeshi Hargett Ensembles.

more affordable than I expected. She worked with me to ensure that our ceremony music reflected exactly what we wanted. Udeshi even stayed a few minutes late so we could hear a few extra songs. Her playing is wonderful and even made me tear up. Udeshi provided a magically touch to our wedding and I highly recommend working with her!

shi also a wonderful MC and great DJ with all of the fun song he played. Udeshi’s charming personality that you can’t missed. Fun and easy to talk to,her creativity will give you some different ideas on different events,not just for wedding. I believe her talent will have you patty rock. I highly recommend.

bout a thing. We had heard great reviews about Udeshi and her ensembles, and I must say they exceeded our expectations. The quality of music is top notch. All the musicians were professional and friendly. When our flower girl and ring bearer took longer than expected to walk down the aisle, the music helped to make everything flow naturally and seamlessly. Our cocktail hour and dinner music was perfect and upbeat. We would give them 6 stars if we could. Thank you so much Udeshi for everything!
