Ultimate Diamond

I am not one to write poor reviews, but felt compelled to warn other couples in the market for an engagement ring to steer clear of Ultimate Diamond. My daughter and fiancé had the most horrific experience. It started when they originally went to pick up the ring and it wasn’t made to my daughter’s specifications because the salesperson, Carlos, left off key information when submitting the order to the jeweler. This delayed the proposal for almost a month while they waited for the correction. No apology. When they finally were able to pick up the ring and get engaged, it went from bad to worse. Diamonds started falling off of the band almost immediately and the band started to warp and bend. When they went back to the store, they were told they should have ordered the band in Platinum, although this wasn’t advised at their initial meeting, and it was going to cost them more. No apology made. After they changed the band to platinum, they managed to mess up the setting of the ring again. This went on and on for months. The ring had to be redone 5 times, and about a half dozen visits made back into the store . Each time there was another mistake made. No apologies. No accountability. My daughter was without her engagement ring for months. During a most exciting time of being newly engaged, she was unable to show her ring to family and friends. The staff was incompetent, unprofessional and unapologetic. And after months of waiting and the ring being redone 5 times, once again the stone became loose from the setting within 8 days of picking it up for the last time. They finally ended up going to another jewelry who had to redo the ring, and haven’t had a problem since. Very upsetting and disappointing experience.
