Although the planning and interactions with Ultimate Jams were pleasant and prompt, and he made us feel like he understood what we wanted especially with our wide range of music se...
lections, unfortunately we were disappointed with the performance during our wedding reception.
The experience was below expectations and we felt that some key moments were mishandled. The DJ often came across rude to both guests and family when politely requesting songs which created a bit of an uncomfortable atmosphere that was noticeable to all. There were some technical issues including microphone feedback during speeches which put a bit of a damper on what should have been heartfelt moments. To make matters worse they initially played the wrong song for our first dance. We had taken time to fill out an online form on the DJ portal for special songs and went over these songs during our bridal consultation and when we arrived at the venue the DJ did not have all the information. He also forgot to introduce the ring bearers and flower girl for our grand entrance. We also felt as thought he didn’t MC effectively, making little effort to engage with the crowd or created the energy we were hoping for. Over all our experience was disappointing and I would not recommend them for such a special occasion like a wedding.
We hired AJ from Ultimate Jams for our wedding and got so many compliments for the amazing music selection. Our guests were a wide range of ages and AJ made sure to include a littl...
e something for everyone! He was so friendly and welcoming to work with as well as flexible! We moved our ceremony location inside at the last minute and AJ was ready to make the change right away. He also had a lot of helpful tips and tricks to make sure our reception had a good flow and the perfect ambiance. Very experienced great team and really helped to facilitate an amazing event !
We had Ultimate Jams as our wedding DJ, and although there were a few bumps along the road as far as the mics not cooperating while my sister's were singing during our ceremony and...
the the music cutting out for a second while I was walking down the aisle, they were still great and played good music that our guests really enjoyed and danced to! The MR. AND MRS. game was a lot of fun, and AJ really helped keep our night on track and moving along! Also, due to the bumps, he was very generous as to refund us some of our money!
Thank you AJ, staff, and Ultimate Jams for being our wedding DJ!
Love,
