Ultra Tech Travel

Nena was great! She does everything she can to make your trip special. She booked a once in a lifetime trip for us. We stayed at the Sandals Grand St. Lucia. Nena recommended this resort to us, this was here favorite of the three Sandals resorts on the island. Put St. Lucia on your bucket list if it isn't already there. The island was breathtaking, the people were warm, fun and so inviting. The resort was beautiful and the beach was even better. We were very impressed by who well the resort was kept up. Everyday people were out touching up paint, and picking flowers, just to make your stay a little better. We stayed in a butler-ed Rondavel, which was our own little private home with our own private plunge pool. We stayed a week, but could have stayed longer, maybe just moved there.

Jillian McCartney with Ultra Tech Travel was amazing! So easy to work with for planning our honeymoon! With all the wedding planning, I completely forgot to book the honeymoon and it was so last minute. I had no idea where to start as I had never traveled outside of the states. Jillian was able to create one less stress which I am so thankful for! She found something for us within our price range for the amount of days we wanted to get away for. What was even more awesome was how everything arrived with an Ultra Tech Travel bag, ipad carry case, personalized book with our travel documents, luggage tags, etc. We did not have to worry about printing anything and were able to keep all of our important travel documents in one place. Jillian made our honeymoon planning so stress free, all we had to do was pack our bags and show up at the airport on time! We stayed at the Iberostar Cozumel for 7 nights in June. We were personally greeted at the airport and shuttled away to the resort. The resort was amazing, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They even taught us some Spanish! There were numerous daily activities that we often participated in or we would just lounge by one of the pools or out on the beach under the numerous thatched umbrellas . The weather was perfect with such a refreshing breeze most of the time. We did a lot of snorkeling along with a fun dune buggy tour of the island while there. I would give Jillian and Ultra Tech Travel 10 stars if I could! Also the Iberostar Cozumel resort was another 10 stars from the food to the entertainment to the accommodations! My husband and I cannot wait to travel again out of the states thanks to the positive experience we had!

It's been almost a year later and I'm still referring friends to go to Jillian for their travel needs! Jillian was very accommodating and helped us make an excellent choice for our honeymoon. Jillian made booking our honeymoon an easy process and provided us with a ton of resources and information. She was also willing to work with our schedules for meetings or Skype calls. We'll definitely be using her for future travel needs! Thanks again Jillian!

I travel fairly extensively for both work and personal reasons, I only used this travel agent to benefit my cousin regarding her destination wedding. I have never had such an unprofessional and poorly managed travel experience. What compelled me to post was the agent's crude and incompentent managing of the arrangements, as well as the lack of customer service in communication with me. Despite her voicemail stating she returns calls in 24hrs, I had to call her repeatedly to book. I compared my story with several in the group of 50 that traveled and they reported the same experience. When I arrived at the destination, the transfer company didn't have my reservation and what's more, when they called the hotel, they reported to me I didn't have a room. I called the agent, Tina Fleck, and while it was 2/12/15, her voicemail announced her schedule for 2/4/15. My suspicions were confirmed, she would not be of help to me. It took me two hours in a foreign country to correct the mistakes when I began to receive angry texts by Tina. (Screenshots posted on Yelp). These include her telling me I was wrong about the documents that she forwarded in my travel pouch. When I told her it arrived empty, she said, no, it didn't. How do you communicate with that? At one point, she identified herself as an "amazing agent and mother." Not sure why she was addressing her personal affairs when I certainly didn't introduce the topic to the discussion. One text said "maybe next time update me 24 hours in advance instead of" I'm sorry, did I expect to not have a transfer, possibly not even a room? The unprofessional comments were consistent and one more shocking than the last. I requested her supervisor's information on 3 ignored occasions before she finally reported she would be "happy to fill him in." I never heard from him. Not sure if she followed-up or if he was okay with her unprofessionalism. There certainly wasn't an after-travel satisfaction survey. I asked several persons in our travel party regarding their expereince and heard "I don't like her." As well as descriptive words such as "flaky, flighty, not all there," from multiple guests, as well as some party organizers. A bridesmaid told an extensive story about TIna's inabilities to manage the billing process and how, despite multiple clear emails, Tina had to ask the bride to clarify travel arrangements for this one particular party member. Isn't the whole point for the bride to hire someone else to manage the travel details? Run! Don't use Tina Fleck!!

My husband and I have worked with Jillian Turney McCartney for two vacations now. Our most recent was our honeymoon to The Westin Playa Conchal Golf and Spa Resort in Costa Rica! Jillian was very helpful in 1) helping us choose a destination 2) helping us find the best room and flight rates for the dates we wanted and 3) making our travel to and from easy and seamless. The Westin was absolutely gorgeous. The people at the resort were very courteous and wanted to help at all possible times. We were able to go on three excursions. Sam and I went horseback riding, a volcanoe/hot springs/rainforest tour, and deep sea fishing (in which we caught 7, 4 foot Mahi Mahi and were able to take them back to a restaurant at the resort where they prepared the fish multiple ways for us). We met about 10 honeymooners while we were there and we went in the rainy season! Even though it was the rainy season, we only had three days of all rain and when your on your honeymoon thats not such a bad thing! It was also nice to be forced out of the sun for a couple days. All in all, it was a perfect honeymoon destination with options for both the adventurer and the relaxer.

I used Jillian Turney McCartney as my travel agent for my honeymoon! I have never used a travel agent before, but I loved the experience. I requested numerous vacations spots and Jillian put together an organized list and set up brochures on each location. She was then quick to book our trip, including airfare for us! Jillian was very professional and quick to respond to each and every email. She even set excursions and private dinners for us. I will definitely be using Jillian and Ultra Tech Travel again! :)

Our travel agent was Jillian Turney McCartney. She did an absolutely fantastic job helping us book our honeymoon to Grande Rivera-Sandals in Jamaica. Everything was taken care of for us ahead of time and we didn't have to worry about planning anything. Jillian was always an email/phone call away (which is pretty impressive considering she was in the middle of planning her wedding the same week we were on our honeymoon)! I had never traveled out of the states and she put my mind at ease about everything! I strongly recommend Jillian and UltraTech Travel. They made a possible stressful situation into a piece of cake! This was mine and my daughter's first time out of the country and Jillian was there to help us every step of the way. She explained everything we needed to know in full detail and terms that we could understand. She insured us that we were in good hands and we were! She made the whole planning of our wedding a breeze because she took all responsibility of dealing with the stressful details while we just picked out the basic stuff. The cost was reasonable for our dream wedding and our vacation was beautiful at the resort she suggested. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it was a great one. She kept in contact even after the trip which made us feel like more than just a client to her. I would recommend her to anyone traveling and plan to use her services in the future.

This was not only my first weddingmoon, this was my first vacation, first time out of the country, first time flying, first EVERYTHING!! Jillian is my travel agent. Notice I said "is" not was. This is because we are already planning our next vacation AND I am planning a girl's cruise with my best friend with her as well! That should tell you how satisfied I am. Jillian was there for me each time I needed her and I know exactly how busy she is. I had trouble with the kiosk at the airport and she helped with that as well. She answered the call very early in the morning on a Saturday, I woke her up even and she was nothing but kind and helpful. The experience was amazing to say the least. (Poor girl sounded so tired too, but was so sweet) We went to Jamaica Ocho Rios Sandals Grande Riviera. We got a garden room and butler service and fell in love with them and wanted to take them home with us. As we were leaving, our butler on duty, Paula, told us to say hello to her niece and nephew for her. They gave us thoughtful gifts throughout our stay as well. Her and Latoya were prefect! When we returned, Jillian had given us a thank you card and a box of beautiful and tasty chocolate covered strawberries. Obviously, I am coming back. Can't wait to take the whole family on our first family vacation! Even though this is my first experience with a travel agent, I don't see how it could get any better than this unless I were to have taken her with us!!

I was at a bridal show when I saw Ultra Tech Travel, they had an organized booth with lots of brochures, which caught my eye. I stated some of the places I was interested in and they gave me Jillian's name. My husband and I were kind of lost with everything and Jillian was so helpful. It just seemed like there was so much involved, Jillian made everything extremely easy during a stressful time. I felt like I was constantly calling and emailing Jillian with questions and she was always willing to help and did everything she could. After changing our minds several times, my husband and I decided to go to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian, which was absolutely gorgeous. Jillian helped us every step of the way and was actually traveling to St. Lucia and staying at the same resort a few months before our honeymoon. When she came back she gave us great information about the resort. After everyting was situated and the wedding was over my husband and I were on our way to our honeymoon destination. We arrived, it was beautiful and everyone was very friendly and willing to help. There was some confusion at the resort itself, I contacted Jillian and she got everything straightened out right away. My husband and I had a wonderful honeymoon thanks to Jillian and Ultra Tech Travel. I have to add that I absolutely loved the fact that Ultra Tech Travel sent all of our travel information in a small travel bag. I was able to keep all of our information in one place and keep it organized while traveling. My husband and I will definitely use Ultra Tech Travel for future trips. I have recommended Jillian to everyone who is in need of travel services. Thank you Jillian and Ultra Tech Travel!!

I have to credit Lindsey Hoffman at Ultra Tech Travel for our wonderful honeymoon. Her name was referred to me and from the day that I contacted her she was very attentive and great to work with. We did not know exactly where we wanted to go but she was able to give us great options within our budget and we had a fantastic time. We decided on the Excellence Resort in Punta Canna, Dominican Republic and the travel and arrangements she set up were flawless. We got upgraded free to a Master Suite which was amazing and the flights, transportation and customer service were excellent. She is very knowledgable and has the experience that made me more comfortable. When there are so many decisions to be made with a wedding time, this was one that she made easier by being so helpful and accomodating. Lindsey is the ideal agent and I can't wait to be able to book another wonderful trip through her!!! I have recommended her to anyone I know that is in need of travel services or assistance in booking a trip.

EL Dorado Royale, Riviera Maya Mexico - Honeymoon Thanks to our fabulous Travel Agent - Heather Depew :)… we got a double room upgrade to a swim out room. It had a garden view and was a little walk to the beach and most of the pools and restaurants, but there was a shuttle and we didn't mind. The room went out to a little balcony and right into a little shared (with one other room) pool which connected to the lazy river which you could walk right into the nearby pool if you wanted. It was a really nice amenity to have and would recommend it. We did have a little trouble with a leaky fridge and musty room when we arrived but our concierge adjusted the air conditioner and fixed it right up for us. Food- The food was AMAZING! I think we both gained 10 pounds from how much we ate. Every restaurant was great. We absolutely loved the Asian and Italian Restaurants. They encourage you to order multiple courses since the meal sizes are very small. Depending on when you go some of the restaurants are closed on certain days for things like weddings, so make sure to plan out your dinners a little if you want to try them all. If you are into good food, it is absolutely a wonderful resort for that! Beaches/Pools- The beach was beautiful, but they do have large black things in it, which at first made it looks not so nice. After a day or so we figured out they were manmade reefs and you could snorkel around them which was really neat, but did ruin the view a bit. It was a little difficult at times to get a cabana or chair at the beach if you didn't get there early enough, and it wasn't very busy when we were there so I would imagine it would be very difficult during the high season. There were waitresses on the beach but it took a while to get service. The pools were beautiful and all had swim up bars. You could find busier pools and also ones where you had your own bar and pool to yourself. Some of the pools had activities and were a little more rowdy, but for the most part the resort was more laid back and low key. We did go on the tour to try to get you to buy a timeshare, which was actually not bad and neat to see the other rooms on the resort. We got a couples massage for going, which was very nice. We went on our honeymoon, and were all about relaxing so we didn't do any trips or leave the resort at all, but were extremely happy with the resort and service and will likely make a return trip!! My agent Heather Depew, has been nothing short of amazing. I couldn't have picked a better travel agent myself. She took care of everything for me. All we had to do was show up in the dominican!! Amazing!!

We ran into Jillian Turney when she was meeting with another couple at a local restaurant ... She gave us her card and we contacted her about some of her suggestions on where to go on our honeymoon. Jillian gave us many of her favorites to look into and my husband and I decided we want to go to a Sandals resort in Jamaica and Jillian did the rest. She made us business cards for our honeymoon registry to put with our invitations and even printed them out and mailed them to us bc the program she used was not compatible with our computer. Jillian worked with us on the timeline for our registry bc some people didnt realize there was a deadline! She took care of booking everything and for a wedding gift Jillian bought my husband and I tickets to Club MoBay ( ViP lounge in Montego Bay) . Our honeymoon was absolutely amazing and the resort was everything and more that Jillian said it would be (Sandals Royal Carribbean -Jamaica) As of Jillian didn't do enough to make sure our honeymoon was amazing already, she then also sent us a welcome home gift and a wedding card! Truly a genuinely nice person who cares about her career and her customers! So, thankful for Ultra Tech Travel and Jillian Turney making our honeymoon absolutely amazing!! Thanks, Tasha and Carl

I worked with Heather at Ultra Tech and she was wonderful. There are so many beautiful resorts and destinations out there and they all have such beautiful pictures on their websites that I became so overwhelmed. I really didn't know where to go. Heather worked with me and found out what my husband and I were looking for in a resort (ie- relaxing on a beach in a romantic setting with the option for excursions) and found us Sandals Negril. It was the best honeymoon I could have hoped for. She helped us pick the room, plan the excursions that we wanted, and found us great flights! She even had little surprises for us when we got there! She was so nice to work with and didn't pressure us into anything. It also helped that she had gone to the resort just a month or so before we were going and e-mailed me pictures of everything. The entire trip went off without a hitch. She was truly fabulous to work with!!

We just returned from Punta Cana for my son's wedding. It was one of the most beautiful Weddings I have ever been to. It was a perfect day. We stayed at "Dreams Resort and Spa" We had a prefered Jr. Suite and was very pleased with the size of our accomedations. The food was great we loved Portafino and World tour to eat. The Wedding was wonderful every thing was perfect the flowers were beautiful and the wedding dinner on the beach was delicious. The Wedding cake was delicious. The photograper took great pictures and the video was perfect. If you are considering a destination Wedding You will be very pleased with this resort.

I was lucky enough to get introduced to Lindsey/Ultra Tech Travel while booking a trip for my friends wedding. After my great experience with them with my friends wedding I chose to have Lindsey handle my honeymoon. I am a bit of a controlling planner but I have to say that using Ultra Tech was the best decision I could have made. Lindsey made everything so easy and made our experience at Sandals in Antigua even more amazing becuase of her business relationships with the resort and the care she puts into helping her clients. She even tolertated my million questions and always had a prompt response. Thank you so much Lindsey!

All started well. She responded to my concerns in a timely manner, she got me a good price, she seemed like she was really going to make planning a destination wedding easier and less stressful for me. Well, that didn't last long. The travel agent was not Jillian, and I don't want to name who was my personal travel agent unless I am asked. Once I decided to do a destination wedding I quickly realized how highstrung my agent ould be. "Let book 'em!" and "Lets get these people booked", were the text messages I received very frequently via text message. Then after my guests booked she tried to make it my responsiblity to make sure the were paying, which is the last thing I should have been worrying about. Everytime she did something nice, she made sure I knew it and acted like I owed her something. She was rude to at least one of my wedding guests, and didn't even contact others. I had 1 couple who wanted to use their own travel agent, and she made a big stink about that. She said that if I got them to book with her she would give me $50 credit towards my trip. Although they did end up booking with UTT, I only got a $25 credit because she had to "chase them", meaning that they did not contact her right away. She also told me that I would get a $25 credit per referal to her, and I never saw a dme of that! I had 15 other people book through her! And finally, she had my wedding pictures posted to her FB page WITHOUT my permission! I asked her to remove them or send me the gift ard that was promised, and I have yet to see that. I found my travel agent very maniputative. I'm not saying that all the travel agents of UTT are like this, but definately the one I used. She needs to stop making empty promises and just do her job.

So Heather Depew was our travel agent from Ultra Tech and she did such a great job with our honeymoon. She helped us pick where to go... Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic! It was so easy, we just picked times we wanted to fly out and how long we wanted to stay. Heather took care of everything so we didn't have to worry or stress out about planning! You can make payments instead of having to pay it all out at once. Our room and trip was amazing. We went snorkeling, swimming with sharks and stingrays, horse back riding on the beach, spent a great day at the couples spa, and had amazing food!

Jillian was a tremendous help to us, especially since we never had worked with a travel agency before. She made sure we had the best price for our flight and handled booking our whole vacation. When we had questions, she always responded in a timely fashion. We received a neat booklet that included all of our travel information along with details about the place where we were staying. When we got home from our honeymoon, we received a nice bouquet of flowers from her which was very thoughtful. We were very pleased to have worked with Jillian.
