- TrevorDrums/Music DirectorMeet Trevor, Ultraviolet’s multifaceted musical director, drummer, and backup singer. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Trevor ensures every event runs smoothly, sometimes to an almost annoying degree, though his flexibility is unmatched. He has a deep love for pop and gospel-inspired music, showcasing his talent on various instruments including drums, bass, guitar, piano, and cello. After spending two years honing his skills in music production, audio/visual, and event management in Los Angeles, Trevor returned to Vermont in 2020 to work remotely. Together with Yazzi, he co-founded Ultraviolet to bring unparalleled energy and special moments to weddings across Vermont and New England.
- YazSinger/Client RelationsYaz has had a love for music and a talent for singing since the early years of her life. Growing up listening to artists like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, she has a strong appreciation for impactful and fun music. She’s been with this band for about 3 years but has been performing since elementary school. Yaz has participated in many musical projects in her community and throughout her school career. She was president of her college A Cappella group the year they went to ICCAs, making them the first group to ever go in UVM history! Yaz is a UVM graduate with a degree in Psychology. Outside of music, she works as a Behavioral Instructor in the VT area and continues to implement music in her life wherever she can!
- OwenSingerOwen grew up singing around the house, that singing around the house took him all the way to studying at a conservatory in NYC. He then moved on to start writing his own music and playing at venues across the state. Aside from singing with UV, Owen is a professional photographer. All of that being said, the most important thing in Owen’s life is his two cats Mama and Baby. Yes those are their names.
- BobGuitaristBob’s fascination with the guitar began in the third grade, when his teacher, Ms. Young, would play her guitar during special occasions. This sparked a lifelong passion that led him to discover an old acoustic guitar and instructional book belonging to his father. Bob’s love for music flourished, and he created a game called ‘Stump Ms. Young’, challenging her to play various chords. (A game he never won. Ms Young, if you are reading this...Bob wants a rematch!) His stage debut took place two years later, and he went on to play in numerous school bands throughout his education. After attending Berklee College of Music, Bob joined a regional touring group and played in various local bands, recording with other musicians and playing in pit bands for high school musicals. Today, Bob is thrilled to be a part of Ultraviolet, a new chapter in his musical journey.
- DavePianist/Logistical DirectorDave started piano at the age of 7, attended the Berklee College of Music, was the founder of the Contois School of Music and is now a remote instructor and IT manager for Soli Music. Dave’s extensive background in music and technology plays an important role in the content development and sound of the Ultraviolet Band. Dave lives in Essex along with his wife, Gina, and when he’s not doing something music related, enjoys his classic cars.
