One-of-a-Kind Hotel in Downtown Baltimore
Ulysses is a hotel and wedding venue located in Baltimore, MD, offering an immersive, transportive gathering experience. Nestled just footsteps from all the city's main attractions, this property invites guests to settle in and explore everything it has to offer, from stylish guest rooms to an intimate speakeasy. The hotel can also host all kinds of private events, with three unique and customizable event spaces to choose from.
Ulysses has been designed and decorated with reverie in mind, as every corner of the building is filled with decadent and thought-provoking interiors. When guests walk into Bloom's cocktail lounge, they may feel as though they've been transported to the Prohibition era while also appreciating the glamorous embellishments reminiscent of the 70s and 80s! Those who gather in Swann House might also embrace the feeling of celebrating in a place that was once a historic townhouse. All of these spaces are available for private event bookings, allowing couples to host their wedding festivities in a venue with a story to tell. Bloom's can accommodate up to 55 guests, while the Swann House is more suitable for seated meals of up to 85 guests. The hotel's bar area, the Ash—Bar, can also welcome up to 55 guests for dinner and drinks.
Room block bookings are available for all couples who say "I do" at Ulysses, with the hotel's 116 rooms ready to host local and out-of-town guests. The on-site event spaces have full AV capabilities, so newlyweds can make speeches or play their favorite music during their wedding reception. An events team will be on hand to help couples plan and perfect their gathering at the hotel. They are committed to handling all the logistics and planning tasks so couples can focus on living, staying, and celebrating at Ulysses.

My stay at this boutique hotel was truly unforgettable; it felt like stepping into a time warp or traveling to a different country. Initially, I was slightly ambivalent about the bed and breakfast style room, but I was pleasantly surprised by i...
ts immaculate cleanliness. The hotel boasts superb staff, three incredible bars: Ash Bar, Blooms, and The Coral Wig, each offering a distinctly different ambiance and a selection of carefully curated cocktails and drinks.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the Washington Monument from my room. It was a truly wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this eccentric yet hospitable and comfortable hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.

I can't say enough how much we appreciate Zuri, at the front desk. She went over and above to help us out, make us feel welcome, and provide a great experience. She's a top notch hospitality professional who is vibrant, fun, and has lots of gre...
at tips. In all honesty, this review would be not be 5 stars without her, as we did not have the same level of service from everyone..... The bars are especially beautiful for an intimate evening cocktail. Overall, the hotel is beautiful with an art deco / Gatsby feel. Most of the rooms are tiny but have interesting interior design. I will definitely be back!

The Bloom room bar can be a great date night stop. Make sure to see Paige at the bar. Her service was great and she make a really good lemon drop. The atmosphere was nice with a grown crowd. I would hope the music is a little better on my next ...
visit. Make sure to visit the restaurant across the street for your late night food.

This place is very photogenic and I'm sure it draws people in because of that. Unfortunately our stay wasn't the bomb. Room was very small and very dark and so incredibly hot and stuffy we asked the front desk how to turn on the AC and they sai...
d they would take care of it. But nothing happened. There was some low fi noise that continued through the night-beats me what it was-but they might want to check that out-so irritating. For the size of this tiny room it was fairly expensive. Room had some design fails like too much furniture and a ledge over the sink my bf hit his head on. Checking in there is no one at the door so you need to drag your luggage up two sets of stairs. Not great. No one tells you beforehand how the elevator needs your room card to operate. All n all-a huge disappointment. Perhaps the staff and design team might want to test drive this place before they invite the public in. Guests are paying for the vibe and that only goes so far.
