Ulysses is a hotel and wedding venue located in Baltimore, MD, offering an immersive, transportive gathering experience. Nestled just footsteps from all the city's main attractions, this property invites guests to settle in and explore everything it has to offer, from stylish guest rooms to an intimate speakeasy. The hotel can also host all kinds of private events, with three unique and customizable event spaces to choose from.
Ulysses has been designed and decorated with reverie in mind, as every corner of the building is filled with decadent and thought-provoking interiors. When guests walk into Bloom's cocktail lounge, they may feel as though they've been transported to the Prohibition era while also appreciating the glamorous embellishments reminiscent of the 70s and 80s! Those who gather in Swann House might also embrace the feeling of celebrating in a place that was once a historic intimate townhouse. All of these spaces are available for private event bookings, allowing couples to host their wedding festivities in a venue with a story to tell. Bloom's can accommodate up to 55 guests, while the Swann House is more suitable for seating of 55 and a standing cocktail reception of up to 85 guests. The hotel's bar area, the Ash—Bar, can also welcome up to 55 guests for dinner and drinks. We've seen our spaces used for rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions, welcome parties, after parties and farewell brunches. You have creative freedom to choose the format that works best for your event!
Room block bookings are available for all couples who say "I do" at Ulysses, with the hotel's 116 rooms ready to host local and out-of-town guests. The on-site event spaces have full AV capabilities, so newlyweds can make speeches or play their favorite music during their wedding reception. An events team will be on hand to help couples plan and perfect their gathering at the hotel. They are committed to handling all the logistics and planning tasks so couples can focus on staying and celebrating at Ulysses. Our rooms are all uniquely designed, Floor 2 and 3, Blue Rooms, Floor 4 and 5=Green Rooms, Floor 6 and 7= Yellow Rooms, Floor 8 and 9= Pink Rooms.

Hotel Ulysses is SUCH a beautiful space! The aesthetic is immaculate - the vibes are good, the staff is friendly, and the location is great! I’m obsessed with all of the beautiful design choices and details. It’s also an easy home base for expl...
oring the inner harbor area. We walked to the National Aquarium and it’s a nice stroll. There are also a couple of bars on site, Bloom’s and The Coral Wig, and the restaurant/cafe, Ash-Bar. They are equally as impressive and have delicious offerings! Highly recommend staying here - you won’t regret it!

During my recent stay at Hotel Ulysses in Baltimore, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service, stunning ambiance, and prime location. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the staff set a positive tone for my visit. They...
were friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with a smile.
The hotel itself boasts a modern yet cozy design, with elegant furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a comfortable sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. The bed was plush, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the view from my window was breathtaking.
One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site dining experience. The restaurant at Hotel Ulysses served a great breakfast. The ambiance of the dining area, combined with attentive service, made each meal a pleasure.
In summary, Hotel Ulysses exceeded my expectations in every way. With its perfect blend of comfort, excellent service, and a fantastic location, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baltimore. I can’t wait to return!

From the moment you walk in to this hotel, you know you are in for a treat!
We found this place totally by accident, the hotel we had booked was closed when we got there and they recommened the Hotel Ulysses and it turned out to be one of the b...
est things that happened on our trip!
James at the desk was so friendly, informative and helpful!
Our bartender, Eddie was such a professional, very knowledgeable about wines, drinks...and so much fun. He was excellent! The food was on point, as well.
Love the whole decor in the hotel! So much fun! Art deco meets New Orleans.
Our room was done with leopard wall to wall carpet, black and gold tiled bathroom with all black fixtures! So much fun! Canopy beds with what looked like homemade quilts!
So different and just made you smile at all the little things they added.
I would recommend this Hotel to anyone!
Can't wait to go back :)
Thank you, Hotel Ulysses!

THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY
The good: This place rocks an artsy, hipster vibe -- groovy 70's mirrored glass retro meets renaissance tapastries. The room was lovely -- canopied bed, artistic furniture, very coozy and sweet. The Cocktail Loung...
e--Blooms--is very cool.
The Bad: Ash Bar and Cafe - VERY poor service. We went there for breakfast today - 9:30 AM. We ordered a simple side order of scrambled eggs and a yogurt parfait. It took a half hour to arrive! And we were the only people in the restaurant for the first 15 minutes!! Plenty of staff hanging around chatting with each other. They gave us coffee and water when we first arrived and then never looked our way. We flagged them down at the 20 minute mark to ask for a refill. Honestly, it didn't feel like the individual staffers' faults -- it felt like no one in the place had been trained by management.
...AND the Ugly: they had the nerve to charge a mandatory 20% tip.
