is so warm and makes you feel so happy and confident with yourself! My husband and I absolutely loved the photos we recieved. There is truly not another artist out there like them. Their photos are a bit pricey but they gave us alot of time to select the perfect photos for our album and were quick to respond if we asked them for advice on which photos to pick! Thank you again Ulysses and Jenni!

t photo shoot. While they were accommodating and took lovely photos, they were sneaky and they put their business before us. Jenni would not speak to my fiancé about a proposal shoot until he paid her. The contract was very misleading. They worded the contract as “access to an online photo album”. They did not at any time before or after the photoshoot explain that not one single photo would be included for us to access without purchasing the photos. Even when we asked for a photo or two in advance just to show our families, Jenni evaded the question. My fiancé paid a large sum of money that he assumed would include at least the Digital files, something that would cost them nothing additional, but no - the Digital files alone cost an additional $1,600… Jenni then said the fee he paid originally only covered transportation, her professionalism, and capturing memories. We wanted some time to think it over, but Jenni and Ulyesses delete the photos after 3 days so that you are not given much time to question them. I told Jenni that it is absolutely ridiculous that proposal photos were not included in a proposal photoshoot. If the engagement photos had been an additional, reasonable cost we would have understood. Jenni worked with me a bit and slightly discounted the cost for the photos - which seems nice of her - but in the end, because we received a “discount”, Jenni said they were not including the proposal video that they took. They refused to give us footage of a very special moment, again something that would have cost them NOTHING, because we received a slight discount and they wanted to get back at us. I do not care if Jenni and Ulyesses are good photographers. They are scammers. They put their business ahead of us and turned the most special moment into a nightmare. At the end of the day - yes, we love the photos. No, they are not worth what we paid.

ood friends so it all started with the engagement shoot. We were nervous for our first session, but they made us feel at ease. They have a very unique & innovative style and were more than willing to take their time discussing their ideas & bonding with us. Come wedding time at city hall, we booked them late, but very happy they were so accommodating and able to join us; even in the snow. My wife and I were expecting a bit of a wait at city hall, but to our surprise it went rather quickly; even with both our families present! Despite the fast pace, Jenni & Ulysses are highly experienced and were able to capture every little moment and emotion, as reflected in the amazing photos they took! They made our city hall wedding look like a grand wedding! Everything was spot on, the angles, positioning, lighting; you can't deny that their work is of high-quality. Their work speaks for itself and you can get a glimpse of that from their gallery posted on their site. All of our family and friends were shocked at the photos once we showed them. We couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! Planning the engagement shoot & the wedding has the potential to be frustrating, but it does not have to be. Jenni & Ulysses made the entire process seamless and at the end of it all they feel like family. If you're looking for a highly experienced & professional pair of photographers with unique/avant-guard styles willing to work together with you, then look no further. These two will create the most beautiful & timeless photos you will continue to cherish for your lifetime! - April & Chris

n-law's weddings before us and the pictures looked so amazing we knew we had to have them photograph our wedding. They were extremely accommodating, warm and friendly people; not to mention our wedding album looks more like a photoshoot for a magazine! It was truly a wonderful experience having Jenni and Ulysses at our wedding!

gement shoot but we couldn't have any of the pictures without purchasing physical copies. We would have liked digital copies ( and would have paid for individual pictures) but they wouldn't do it. Additionally Jenni posted a wedding picture I requested to her instagram account before we even got a copy and told us to regram it. I thought that was completely unprofessional and it really upset me. It felt like my wedding was first and foremost a promotional tool. I am giving three stars because ultimately we were happy with the pictures, but I cannot recommend working with them.

our other vendors rave about how much they love them as people and pros. The complementary engagement session was so much fun and a great way to get to know them and their style. On the day of the wedding they were a calming and reassuring presence and helped us deal with any kinks with ease. They blended in seamlessly and worked hard to capture all of the big and little moments. They were so fast to provide the proofs and the resulting product is thoughtful, unique, and natural - never cookie cutter or "standard" - and just so incredibly beautiful. The photos will truly stand the test of time and we will cherish and share them with our families for a long time. Thank you Ulysses and Jenni!

ne of the most important aspects to your wedding, and Ulysses and Jenni was the best choice that we could have made. The decision making process for packages and products were seamless, and their work speaks for itself. If anyone out there is on the cusp between Ulysses and Jenni or another photographer, no disrespect to anyone else, but choose Ulysses and Jenni!

shoot, to our engagement shoot reveal, to picking out pictures for our guest book, TO WEDDING PLANNING/MAKING A WEDDING TIMELINE, and and all of the things in between (and trust me, there are a lot), to our wedding day, and now choosing the photos for our wedding album, they made everything so easy, stress-free, and seamless. I honestly cannot believe how lucky I am to have found them. The day of my wedding was such a whirlwind, but Jenni and Ulysses were RIGHT THERE the entire time, capturing every single sweet moment and detail. I mean, I knew I was lucky having them, but even doing the wedding receiving all the positive feedback from friends and family about how amazing they were made me feel that much more at ease. The day of my wedding was such a whirlwind, they captured moments that I didn't even know existed, and from angles I didn't even know they were! Literally, up high, down low, they are like little wedding ninjas. What completely put me over the moon was just recently receiving my online gallery. I mean...it is seriously a work of art (and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding, I have looked at all their online galleries and every single one is so beautiful and special). Literally every single picture is just so wonderful and beautiful. My mother not only cried tears of happiness at my wedding (a few times to be exact) but when she saw the online photos and just kept saying "I don't even photograph well, I just can't believe it, these two are truly magic workers, I want to reach out to them myself and thank them!" Or my father's response "wow, I didn't even know what your cake looked like until I saw these photos" (again, capturing every moment that is so easily missed by so many including the father of the bride in such a whirlwind of a day). As I said in the very beginning, words do not do them justice. And I know I may be rambling at this point, but, in the beginning I honestly didn't realize how important it was to hire such a quality photography team. As time went on, I kept thinking to myself "thank God for Jenni and Ulysses"- I cannot envision what my wedding day would have been like without them (as I told them, we would still be rounding up people for family photos) OR how about the time Ulysses literally put out a fire (no really, my bouquet caught on fire at my sweetheart table on a candle but was quickly caught and put out by Ulysses with minimal damage to my bouquet), I can't even imagine how many other (figurative) figures they probably put out on my wedding day that I don't even know about. My husband is a man of few words, I on the other hand, am quite wordy, so he would've probably been able to write this review much more concise than I, but I really wanted to speak from my heart when I say that having Jenni and Ulysses as my wedding photographers was the best choice I made (other than saying I do!) ecide on our wedding venue. We first met Jenni and Ulysses at our meet and greet where they made us feel like we had been friends for years. The next time we saw them was at our engagement photo shoot, which I hadn’t even wanted to do because I thought it would be awkward. Jenni and Ulysses turned it into a fun day…which was not what I expected! We knew going into our wedding day that Jenni and Ulysses would be the vendor we could turn to with any questions/concerns, even if it had nothing to do with photography. They did not disappoint on our wedding day; arriving early, instantly clicking with the bridal party, and being always present yet unobtrusive throughout the night. The photos came back to us quickly and are more beautiful then we could have imagined. Couldn’t recommend Jenni and Ulysses more and hope to work with them again in the future!

After explaining to them what we were looking for photo wise, they nailed it right on the head and we couldn't have been happier. duo at a friends' wedding a few years ago. We noticed how on point they were, and they noticed how fun loving we were on the dance floor. Instant connection. As soon as it was our turn to ring the wedding bells, we reached out to Ulysses and Jenni immediately. Since then they have done everything in their power to make our wedding the most magical and easy day of our lives. From the engagement shoot to the cake cutting, they were prepared, professional, and most importantly, fun. The photography was literally the least of our worries during the whole wedding planning process. Ulysses and Jenni turned our engagement shoot into a date that they photographed! We had the best time and were obsessed with the pictures. Our wedding pictures were unreal. They really captured the day (without being intrusive in any moment). Somehow, with their magical photography powers, Ulysses and Jenni caught every moment on film, without distracting the organic moments from happening. Within two weeks of our wedding, our album is already ordered!! They are talented, professional, and the results are evident in the gorgeous pictures they take.

hoot was such a blast and really gave us great insight on how artistic and creative they were. The reveal (the session where they show us our photos from the engagement shoot) went on for hours as they listened to us talk about every detail of the wedding and gave us suggestions from their previous experiences. On the day of the wedding, they were never "in our face" but still able to capture the magic between us without being obtrusive towards all the guests. We were able to enjoy the wedding and had full trust in our photographers that the emotion of that day would be perfectly captured.

o get to know Ulysses and Jenni and get comfortable having our pictures taken. They were very good at being unobtrusive so we could get some natural looking shots. We ended up with a great mix of "candid" and posed shots and purchased the slide show (which we ran on a loop at the guestbook table at the wedding) and several printed photos. In the days leading up to our wedding, we had an in-depth discussion with the photographers about the schedule for the day. Ulysses and Jenni were careful to note particular groups of people we wanted photos with so they could make sure to get them at the wedding. The photos turned out beautifully. We chose the pictures for and purchased a bound album and received helpful feedback from Jenni about the mix we had chosen. The bound album is very high quality. The digital negatives are also included in the package, so you can print your own photos later if you choose. The packages vary in price, and there are many optional extras, so you can get exactly what you want. We would strongly recommend Ulysses Photography to anyone in need of a photographer.

fe. We could not be more thrilled with the result! Ulysses and Jenni were there every step of the way during the planning process and even helped keep us on track on the wedding day. They have the incredible talent of making two people (who do not love being in front of a camera) feel completely at ease. We had an engagement session with them that we were quite nervous about, and much to our surprise, we did not want it to end! This was an indication to us as to how talented they are. We were blown away when we saw our wedding photos, and then it got even better when we received our album. The quality of their work is amazing. They don’t produce artwork, they truly produce heirlooms! We will definitely use them in the future!
