Debbie was always very communicative during the planning phase, and thought if everything we had not yet. She’s got a great list of vendors that she knows, a wealth of knowledge and experience. The food was excellent, picky kids were accommodated and well taken care of as well. many family members and friends come in for our wedding from all over the country, and we all had a fantastic unified experience. Venue: Brand new and gorgeous. All of my guests dropped their jaw and had their breath taken away by this venue. It’s a brand-new Spanish-style multi-level venue with so many photo ops. A place for eating, a place for romantic photos, a place for friends to tell a secret. There is something for everyone here. And every detail is done to perfection. The fire pit near the barrel room was a perfect touch to close out our evening. Food: Wow! I have a big Italian family, and you know taste is essential to us. Goodness grief, Debbie blew our expectations out of the water! We chose the Italian dinner option, obviously. It was incredible and very flavorful. There were not any leftovers, and we chose the buffet. She was even able to accommodate a few Gluten-free people and had their options clearly labeled. Location: Close to the DFW airport and 10-15 minutes from Fort Worth. My entire family was from out of town, and we enjoyed seeing the local sights and going into town during the day. Accommodations: We rented all seven cabins and had a great weekend. It was the most memorable get-together my family has ever had. Book on AIRBNB, and you are good to go. Everything was perfect, and we had picky relatives, and they were pleased. Smores by the campfire were some of the best moments. Coordination: Debbie is one of a kind. She has a background in a particular field that I am familiar with that involves details. When she says she is detail-oriented, she is not kidding. No ball is dropped, and she is careful to consider all factors that, quite frankly, you haven’t even considered. We asked her for a one-stop-shop experience, and gosh, did we get it. We barely lifted a finger. I would recommend this venue for one reason, and that is Debbie.

e oldest winery in the Fort Worth / Dallas area, guests were pleased with the deep history and influence Umbra has in the wine industry. Food was great, serving staff and management (James) was extremely helpful. Whatever last-minute needs popped up, the entire staff from the owners to the boots on the ground servers were ready to assist. The barrel room is an absolutely beautiful and cool place for a ceremony. On-site lodging with cabins was a nice treat also. And last but not least, the wine selections and quality are top-notch. My lovely bride and I HIGHLY recommend Umbra winery.

dible! We were so blown away by all the services that they were able to provide, so much so that we decided to make a whole weekend of it and stay on property for the whole experience. Our weekend began with our entire wedding party checking in to the vineyard cabins on Thursday morning. We actually got there a day early, on Wednesday, to set up some welcome baskets for our guests and were surprised and welcomed with a beautiful congratulatory note and wine from the owners, Debbie and John. We were super excited to see the cabins in person... they are each fantastic and have everything you could possibly think of needing. There's a kitchen in each one complete with cookware, dishes, glassware, a refrigerator, microwave, even an oven. We all made ourselves at home in each of our cabins and picked up groceries and snacks when we were out. If ever we did need anything, Rob was quick to help and he was wonderful and helpful the whole time we were there. The cabins were the perfect place to house our wedding party. We were all together, we could have meals together, cocktails together, it was also great to have a home base while we did last minute errands. Friday was our day to decorate the event space and do our wedding rehearsal. We started with breakfast at the cabins, running a few errands, and then everyone had a decorating task to tackle. We were able to decorate everywhere, the space transformed becoming unique to us and felt so special because we could put our touch on it with decorations and pictures. Because the venue is SO FABULOUS, we even had our rehearsal dinner on property! It was like a one-stop-shop in the absolute best place ever! Our dinner was held in the Estate Barrel Room underneath the event space. It's an absolutely gorgeous room, lined with wine barrels and beautiful lighting. It is so impressive when you walk in through the beautiful wooden doors and see everything set up. Oh! and the food! My gosh... Debbie is the Queen of the dining experience (and of everything, really) at Umbra. In preparing for this rehearsal dinner, she went over all the food options with us that they could provide and really maximized our budget so we could offer a bunch of different options for our guests. All the food was then set up and looked like edible art, it was spectacular. During the dinner, the wine maker, John, talked us through a wine tasting telling us all about the different wines they make right there on property. The whole night was amazing and we felt so spoiled. The day of the wedding started with a champagne toast for the whole wedding party as we each had our hair and makeup done in the bridal suites. It was like a girls party all day long and it was so special to share it with my family and closest friends. Our photographer captured everything and it looked so beautiful because of the setting. Our ceremony was held outside under the beautiful wooden gazebo at sunset, GORGEOUS! After we said our "I do's," we then rang an antique bell in the Umbra bell tower. They make the ringing of the bell into a ceremony of its own and it was the perfect way to end the ceremony part of the wedding and start the party... truly a day I wish would have never ended. It was just magical.

year. I had toured Umbra earlier and we couldn’t quite fit the guest count but I LOVED it. So less than a month before the wedding I reached out to Debbie to see if they had availability. She told me about their express package and it was incredible and SO affordable. They took care of almost everything – set up and take down, basic décor, food, and a case of wine. We switched to cash bar after the case ran out. We also used them for our rehearsal dinner. Both meals were SO GOOD. The venue also has cottages for rent through Airbnb and they were so convenient. We had one for the bridal party, grooms party, parents, and an aunt/uncle. Debbie is an angel and went above and beyond – she even got a previous bride to lend us a cross! Cannot say enough good things about this venue or the family.

Debbie at La Buena Vida Winery and I am so grateful I did. She helped me plan our big day in just a month! Her communication was outstanding. The EXPRESS Wedding package was perfect for us. Not only was it affordable, it was clear and easily understood. It included almost everything we needed for the day. The list of preferred vendors she provided helped me piece together everything else. The entire venue is spectacular. We took pictures everywhere. Our ceremony and reception were in the Barrel Room. The ambience is so incredibly romantic and dreamy, we all forgot we were in Springtown, Texas. We chose the Italian Buffet and I’m glad we did. So many of our guests complimented the food, it was delicious! The staff was extremely attentive and kind, especially towards our rowdy group. After the wedding, we all stayed at the Airbnb’s on site and had an absolute blast! Debbie put a special treat in our Cottage for our wedding night, it was so sweet. I highly recommend this venue to all couples. We had an intimate and extremely beautiful celebration. Debbie helped make our dreams come true.

It truly is a breathtaking location. And to top it off, they gave us an amazing deal because they understood our situation. I'm so excited for our November wedding. Debbie has been in contact with us constantly keeping us updated on the Covid-19 situation and has worked with us on our payments. Umbra Winery has been a blessing to my fiance and I.

to offer. To start, Debbie is the most wonderful person and truly wants the best for you and your special day. She has gone above and beyond since day one of us being an Umbra couple. For example, my Grandmother has been sick and I was deeply afraid that she might not make it to our wedding date, so Debbie let us do a "first look" with my Grandmother at the venue so that we could get all dolled up and make the best of the entire situation. She has also let my vendors and I meet up on several occasions at the venue to discuss details/plans without it ever being an issue or making me feel like I was being a burden. We unfortunately had to change our wedding date due to COVID-19 outbreak and Debbie once again absolutely was the best and instantly let me know that whatever I needed, she was there and wanted to make anything she could happen. I truly could not be more thankful for Debbie and all she has done for Clint and I. The venue itself is breath taking. Every detail was thought of and it shows as soon as you walk in. The cottages are such a plus and we have chosen to use them for the entire bridal party the night of the wedding just so we can continue to enjoy our night with friends. The ceremony sight is simple yet elegant and they have left it a nice clean pallet for you to use and add your own personal touches to. In the reception area one of my favorite things is the separate food/buffet room that your guests walk through so that food is not set up and then having to be taken away later on throughout the evening. They offer wine packages, food packages, rehearsal dinner packages and so much more that truly does help you for not only the big day but all the events leading up to it as well. I can not express how wonderful the venue not only is but the owners as well. I can not wait to walk down the aisle at Umbra Winery at La Buena Vida Vineyards and dance the evening away under the beautiful chandeliers that I instantly fell in love with when I first walked in. Please go and visit this venue, take the time to visit with Debbie and I promise you will not be disappointed.
