Unbirthday Cakes & Pastries is a cake and pastry studio based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, one that provides stunning cakes and other baked goods for weddings. Owner, cake artist, and pastry chef Valerie Underwood possesses extensive experience in baking delectable sweet treats and strives to make each cake uniquely beautiful, flavorful, and worthy of your wedding celebration.
My specialty is tailoring each cake and flavor to each couple. I do not offer “cake shop” basic cake flavors or offer “cookie cutter designs”. It’s a special day and you deserve the most signature and unique cake. Do you have a favorite flavor, pie, candy bar, drink? To make your cake tailored to represent both of you as a couple.
Your wedding service from Unbirthday Cakes & Pastries can include cake tasting, delivery, and setup of your wedding cake. Desserts, groom’s cakes, cake accessories, and more are also available. Upon request, these baked goods can be created with dairy-free and gluten-tolerant (Although we are not a 100% gluten -free kitchen) ingredients. You can enjoy a masterfully crafted piece of confectionary on your special day.
