Jessica has been AMAZING from start to finish! My first meeting with her was a phone consultation, and we ended up chatting about more things than just photos for 45 minutes. I instantly knew she would be a perfect fit for us and our event. Our wedding photos came out AMAZING, and Jessica was a doll the entire day. She did more than I could have ever imagined and I will definitely be recommending her to all of my friends as they get married.

Wow, wow, wow! We just got our engagement photos back and I’m blown away! She took our insecurities and made us both feel very confident! Jessica has been absolutely incredible to work with since day one and she made the engagement session so fun and light hearted. We absolutely cannot wait for our Welcome Party and Wedding Day…we love her that much, that we have her booked for BOTH events. She’s truly a talented and spectacular photographer.

Jessica is an amazing photographer and will get the best out of you. She is incredibly patient and personable. My husband and I are not the model type and were never ones for PDA, so with our engagement photos we were fairly self-conscious. Jessica helped ease us into the different poses and found ways for us to ease tension, look natural, and actually enjoy the process. At the wedding, she had a great knack for getting intimate shots without ever feeling like she or her staff were in the way. I love how genuine all of the shots turned out! I am so grateful that we chose Under the Sun Photography and would recommend them to anyone.

I am SO SO SO SO GLAD we found Jessica ! we met her at a wedding fair and let me tell you I love her ! There are not enough words that exist to express how wonderful my experience with Jessica was!! Beyond Incredible! We really hate getting our picture taken but Jessica made it feel so natural and not scary at all! We knew for our wedding it had to be done and done right because you only get 1 chance! How did she make us look so good and not awkward? She's truly great at what she does and I will never pick anyone else after the experience we had.

From the time I first spoke to her inquiring about my date to getting our photos taken, she has been so sweet, kind, and helpful every step of the way. Jessica was absolutely amazing! She captured my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding beautifully! What I really loved about her is she really took the time to get to know the bride and groom, making for a really amazing experience! Honestly felt like it was one of our best friends taking these photos!

I'm not sure where to start and I really hope I can get this review written in 3500 characters or less, since that's my limit! We met Jessica through my brother several months before our destination wedding in Mexico. I was originally planning on using the photographer that came with our "package", but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted a truly personal touch. Someone who actually knew me and Derik and someone who could really capture the VERY special day we had been planning for quite some time. Jessica came to our house and really got to know us and what our vision for our wedding was. She flew into Mexico before everyone else to really get the lay of the land and the BEST photo ops. During our planning meeting, we asked Jessica to do some candid photos at the pools because we had friends/family we hadn't seen it quite some time. She texted me on Thursday after we arrived and said, "let me know when you want to take some photos". We worked out a time and she was right there snapping some awesome pictures and having a great time with us! Friday, she did a mini-engagement session on the beach that is nothing shy of SPECTACULAR! Saturday rolled around - the day of the wedding! Jessica was right there with us getting ready and capturing some very sweet and intimate photos that I know we will forever treasure. She knows exactly what to say and when to say it to get that best smile out of a very nervous bride! We had a perfect ceremony and I've seen a sneak peek of my wedding photos and am just speechless. I can't wait to see more! Jessica was with us for our entire FIVE hour reception and was the perfect combination of photographer and dance partner! Jessica very quickly became a guest favorite and a family member for life! I would have her as my photographer and friend 100 times over! I will never be able to thank Jessica enough for making my day even more special. One of a kind, you are!!

While Jessica specializes in weddings, I have asked her to photograph my family, and have now been a repeat customer 3 more times - and plan to again and again as my kids grow up! She’s efficient, makes the whole family relax and smile, and has on multiple occasions been able to replicate a pose I found on Pinterest! I have recommended Jessica to all of my friends and have been a bridesmaid twice with her as the photographer! She is really passionate about what she does and it shows!

I was so lucky to have Jessica as my photographer. I am absolutely thrilled with my engagement and wedding photos. The first time I spoke to her on the phone, I immediately liked her. It was important to me for me to actually LIKE my photographer because you really do spend a lot of time with them on one of the most important days in your life. The reason it is so important to be comfortable around them is because IT WILL show in your face if you’re not. My husband and I really enjoyed our photoshoots with Jessica. It can be kinda awkward to take a lot of photos but she is so funny and goofy that she kept both of us laughing and relaxed. As for the photos, they are BEAUTIFUL. Seriously, these are the nicest pictures anyone has taken of me. The pictures are light, bright, and airy. I feel like a beautiful bride when I look at them. They are so nice in fact, that the company that made my wedding dress, Jasmine Bridal, has featured my photos several times! Jessica is also a really creative person and will find ways to make your photos look amazing. During our wedding reception, I was kinda tired after a LONG day but she had a great idea to do these romantic night time shots. I am SO GLAD I decided to do them. They are absolutely gorgeous. It’s hard to believe it's me and my husband! Like, that’s us?? She made us look SO GOOD! And really, that’s all you want. You want to love your pictures and be happy with them because they are an investment. I know that I’ll look at these photos many years from now and still enjoy them - that’s how happy I am with them.

Jessica took our engagement photos and I was absolutely pleased with the photos and the whole experience! She made the photo session enjoyable for my husband, who isn’t a huge fan of photos and she was able to capture his true smile on camera. I would highly recommend her for all your photo needs. She’s taking our maternity photos in December.
